A few of my brothers had their teeth pulled here, one for his wisdom teeth. Dr. Sotomil made retainers for one of my brothers. And he also made my tooth fillings. One time, when part of my face swelled because of an infection (I think it was gums), he also treated it and told me to eat ice cream afterwards - a much welcome advice! There is a reason our family keeps coming back to him - he does his work well, and quite fast too. When I get my teeth cleaned, I really feel that they are clean, with nothing stuck in between. I got my teeth cleaned a few times by other dentists, and my teeth didn't seem as thoroughly cleaned the same way they are when I go to Dr. Sotomil.

She's convinced me that the dentist's chair doesn't have to be a scary place for children, adolescents, or even adults. Plus, she knows what her patients want. There's a TV in her clinic where you can watch the latest seasons of Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, Adventure Time, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and other TV shows and movies while she works on your teeth. Dr. Jo was singing to her while brushing her teeth (so she gets used to timing her brushing for two minutes) and to get her comfortable as well. After the cleaning and the varnish, she was given a treat and a small toy because she was so well-behaved. We then had a long discussion of what needs to be done to prevent cavities and what we need to do about the early on-set of children's carries. It's great to work with a dentist that your kids can be comfortable with yet have an open, professional discussion about her dental plan. We became friends, and as soon as he passed the board exam a couple years back, he became my regular dentist. Doc Dale's first few years as a dentist were supervised closely by his mom, a seasoned dentist who has been practicing for several decades now. Doc Dale and his Mom share a clinic near Cartimar. The clinic is always spotless and immaculate, and the tools and the instruments that they use are clean and sterilized. Doc Dale and his mom have several new dental chairs in their clinic, and they also have modern equipment that help make every visit comfortable, fast and somewhat pleasant. Doc Dale has a light touch, and his procedures never feel rushed nor hurried. I'm not saying these just because we have become friends, but my brother, whom I referred to Doc Dale when he needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction, also said so. I think Doc Dale's fees are more reasonable than the tariff rates in dental clinics in the malls. I don't have dental coverage on my insurance but I could still afford his services. Their restroom lacks soap, toilet paper and paper towels and there are no dispensers for hand sanitizer for patients can use. You'd expect a higher level of hygiene from a medical facility.
