The show was from 7:00 P.M to 8:30 P.M on a Friday evening. The large clubhouse and community center servers as a hub for social, recreational, and fitness activities. The community was originally developed in the early 2000s and is a 55+ housing community. The community has indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, and pickleball courts. There is large space availability for games and group events as well. The community has a wide range of clubs and organized interest groups which is wonderful! The Sun City Aliante community located in the northern edge of the Las Vegas which provides beautiful scenic desert and mountain views! The Aliante's golf course winds through the neighborhood as well! Since it's right off of the 215 exit, it's really easy to get to. The community center was quite spacious when we went to watch the Holiday show. It was all decorated inside for the holidays with beautiful holiday lights! Two team members at the community center helped guide us to the room where the holiday show was taking place. Inside the room, there was plenty of seating! The holiday show was fantastic. Every song was great, and the performances kept the energy up the whole time. It was easy to enjoy the show from beginning to end. The venue was also awesome, comfortable, well set up, and a perfect place for a holiday performance. It was a really fun and memorable experience.

I went to the Clark County Amphitheater for the City of Lights Festival for the first time on April…read more25th and 26th of 2026! Attendees could park for free, and I loved the event! I couldn't ask for better weather: it was cool, cloudy, and breezy all weekend. The Amphitheater has a main stage at the front and a large screen to the left. The seating is on the grass or on concrete if you sit in the back, so they recommend bringing a low-back chair or a blanket to watch the concerts. I loved the picnic vibe. The VIP lounge had water, restrooms, seating, and charging plugs. They also had a wall to take photos in front of. I would definitely return to the Clark County Amphitheater! As long as the weather isn't baking, you should enjoy yourself!

We visited the Clark County Amphitheater to participate in the 2024 Las Vegas Brewfest on 10/19/24,…read morewith this being my third time attending. Having just completed my midterms, this was the perfect event to unwind after such a busy, packed week. My first and second time here, I had VIP tickets, but this time around I had general admission tickets because the price of the VIP tickets weren't really worth it. The Brewfest had lots of beer vendors (with many local breweries included, such as Able Baker and Crafthaus) and various food trucks. I lost track of how many beer vendors we visited, but we still had fun. I took my boyfriend with me, and this was his first time being here. A live band, a silent disco section, and DJ were also present at the Brewfest, with several local beer vendors surrounding them. The weather never felt so good for this festival. One food truck that made an appearance at the Brewfest was Empanada Factory, which we went to. I went to Empanada Factory for a Yelp Elite Experience last month and I had to try their delicious empanadas again. Many flavors were selling out quickly, but we managed to get a ham and cheese empanada for myself and a beef empanada for my boyfriend. These were incredibly delicious! The Brewfest began at 5:00pm for the GA (4:00pm for VIP ticket holders) and lasted until 9:00pm. We left about 40 minutes before the end just to beat the rideshare crowd, and getting one to and back was incredibly easy.

Sometimes when we go to visit she is busy with her friends and she doesn't have time for us which is what I was hoping for. Two years ago, I didn't think that was possible. My mother has been here for almost 4 years and she just turned 92. She is originally from Virginia…read moreand she just loves living here. My husband and I were taking care of her for the past 3 years at our house and it was getting too tough. After a couple of falls and with the crazy house of kids running around and my husband and I both needing to work, we knew we needed to find something better for her. After talking with her about it for a while she understood and agreed that it was the best thing for both of us. After a bunch of tears from both of us, we started looking around at places to live. We went and saw about 6 different places and my mom liked different things about each place. When we got to Chancellor Gardens my mom started smiling. She loved the way the entrance looked. The staff and the other people there seemed really happy and a few of them came up and introduced themselves to us. The man that took us around was really nice and was very helpful with telling us stuff we needed to know that noone else had mentioned. He gave us lots of good information about the VA pension that we now have for my mom that helps us be able to afford her living there. She has a really nice room on the second floor and she really likes the view. She is always outside or on the bus going on trips to the casino or shopping. Sometimes her friends come over to her place or she goes to theirs and they play cards together. Mom is starting to lose her hearing a little and the nurse there has been helping give us advice on how to handle her needs as they change. I don't think I could keep working full time, raise a family and still help take care of my mom if I didn't trust everyone there. Sometimes we just go out for lunch on the weekend or I bring her back over to our house and she is so happy. The doctor that comes to the place to see her is very nice and he is very helpful. He seems to genuinely care about her. Anytime I need help with something for her, the guy that runs the place is always there and willing to help. We had some family come in town to visit her a couple of months ago and they even let them stay in a guest room there so they could be with her while they were in town. I love where the building is located too. She feels safe and it is only a couple of miles from our house. We are all hoping she gets to spend the rest of her life there and she tells me she never wants to leave. That this is her home.

Let alone the exhaustion that the people in state positions feel when dealing with so much secondary trauma. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Lekia Smith while she helped me apply for the services I needed. She was kind, professional, helpful, and waited very patiently with me while I retrieved my sources of documentation. Let alone tried assisting me to get the services needed, by help contacting my HR, all while also helping a coworker with an family in need of services of their own, with some sort of error they were facing in application submission. She is a work BEAST! I just had to speak up and say she deserves a raise. The community needs people like her in these positions, her kindness and patience gives us the time to be present and get on track to a comfortable life. Thank you Ms. Smith!!

Those worker-bees that act like they are almost God like and irreplaceable... Listen up! You are replaceable.. After watching the way you handled yourselves.. The way you DIDN'T take care of people in a timely manner! The way you thought you were entitled to a 30 minute break between every person you "processed or interviewed!! The way you performed your job wasn't very up to par! Or WAS IT for a state run operation?? If you worked just a TAD quicker, and actually cared just a TAD more.. Your job may be even a TAD more enjoyable and rewarding.. You're all a disgrace to every taxpayer of this state who, as we know, pay your wages.. I'd love to see if there's anything we can do to change that in some way...
