Sadly, my opinion of Cinderella is no longer princess like! My birthday arrangement was a hodgepodge of flowers that did not go together. Hydrangeas were wilted upon arrival; next morning they were a crumbled mess on my table. Two of the five roses did not make it to the next morning either! Irina said I should have sprayed the hydrangeas, removed the sunflowers and the orchid, and put everything in separate vases. So I get a floral arrangement as a birthday gift and I'm supposed to immediately take it apart? Irina said she hadn't charged for the flowers that did not last a day, (which makes no sense), but she did say she'd send new flowers. The sender had requested an arrangement of roses like the one sent previously (for which I posted a fabulous, well deserved review..I always tell it like it is.) Irina told me she knew that but did not recall what that arrangement looked like and therefore could not duplicate it. She requested a picture which I sent her. She said she'd send new flowers. She did not honor her word. Truly unfortunate that quality of product and assembly of arrangement as well as the owner's respect and consideration for her customers has deteriorated significantly within the past few months. read more

I needed flowers for my daughter because she was performing in a ballet recital. So I looked on Yelp for a recommendation. Cinderella had gotten some great reviews, so I called to check on the time. The proprietor ( I forget her name) was very polite on the phone. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and she recommended a beautiful bouquet. While she wrapped up the flowers we chatted a bit. She runs the epitome of a neighborhood business that's not just about making a buck. I don't live anywhere near sheepshead bay, but the drive to get her service is worth the 30 minute. I've had the most wonderful experiences with Irene from Cinderella florists. I was in a bind back in April when I needed a custom flower arrangement for my friends birthday party. She was so incredible to work with. Since then, I've used her for every occasion. There is no one more passionate about her own work. She puts her all into everything she does and goes above and beyond to help you out like a friend. I.e. I left one of my flower arrangements at the restaurant and she went to pick it up for me! Besides treating you like family, her flowers are the best quality and last for weeks! I haven't seen anything like this. She also has the best orchids ever. If you need personalized flower arrangements for any occasion or holiday, or an orchid that's sure to stay in bloom for a long time and rebloom multiple times a year, then you want Irene in your phone list. I'm very surprised to discover all the positive reviews this place got considering that I got scammed big time. I purchased a large orchid from them for $50 as a birthday gift, which, admittedly, seemed to be in a pretty good condition and looked beautiful. I needed a pot to go with it, so I decided to purchase one. The florist gave me one that the orchid was sitting in, without giving me an option to take a look at any other planters or let me examine that one first. She charged me $10 for the pot she insisted on me buying. While wrapping the flower up, she spent 15 minutes on placing sparking decorative stickers on the planter, which ended up looking incredibly weird and completely unnecessary, but I didn't start to question it, since I figured she knew what she was doing. Upon closer inspection once I got home I realized that the "flower pot" was a small-sized garbage bin, made entirely of paper. There were 4 systematically placed 1*1" cutouts on that bin where you could see the plain carton. That's what she was "patching up" with the stickers, hoping to write it off as an incredibly ugly decoration and that I won't notice it. I have an orchid plant of my own that grows in a proper planter, so I switched the garbage bin for my own orchid pot, and bought myself a different one. Not only am I offended that the florist wrote me off as a clueless imbecile for not knowing what a proper orchid planter should look like and for expecting me not to notice the damages on the sold "planter", I'm very VERY angry that I was forced to take the entire assembly apart in order to swap for a proper orchid pot after I spent $8 (she so generously took $8 from me instead of $10 because I only had $58 in cash) on the "planter", and still had to buy a new orchid pot for myself. I decided to give the scammer that sold be the damaged garbage bin the benefit of the doubt since I hate to question other people's work. In return I ended up being the fool that was grossly overcharged for item I ended up tossing the same hour I purchased it. Good work, lady. You managed to double-cross a naive good-natured person. You must be so very proud of yourself. read more

My best friend's dad died & I wasn't able to attend the funeral which was less than a week away. I got the funeral home info & Cinderella Florist popped up in the send flowers heading. I clicked it, got information & called. Irina was pleasant, compassionate & professional in how she personally handled my circumstance. She made sure the floral arrangements was done perfectly with unblemished flowers & that it was delivered to the right location. I thought it was to be delivered to the funeral home but Irina called the funeral home and figured the arrangement needed to be delivered to the church instead. She called, texted, left messages because I was at work and wasn't able to talk at the time. She made sure the delivery was on time at the correct location.
