I ordered a bouquet for my clients who had suffered a loss. The Stems team member answered the phone quickly the day before my I made my order. She was very kind, and answered all of my questions. The next day I made the order and then realized I made an error thanks to auto entry on my computer. I emailed them and they emailed me right back to let me know they had corrected it. Their response was so quick. After that, they emailed me and showed me a photo of the bouquet, which I really appreciated. The bouquet was so beautiful and full of thought and artistry. After being ghosted by two other flower shops, I found myself a bride-to-be who was desperate for some flowers. Then Stems came in to save the day. I emailed and also visited their shop (highly recommend visiting-- it's such a cute shop, my mom didn't want to leave!) I should note: the type of flower didn't really concern me. My focus was buying from a florist who believed in sustainability and VOLIA-- that's what Stems is all about! I told them the vibe I was going for and they crafted a beautiful bouquet for me, boutonniere for my fella and two displays for the ceremony. They were the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. Alright my lazy butt took almost 3 years to write this review but here it goes -- if you're debating using Stems for wedding flowers, or honestly anything else, JUST DO IT. They did such an amazing job on the wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres and I couldn't have been more pleased with how beautifully they turned out and how perfectly they fit the vibe of the wedding. As a side note -- my father passed away about a week and a half before my wedding. The woman (it's killing me that I can't remember her name) who delivered the flowers the morning of the wedding used the hem of one of my dad's shirts to secure the flowers so that I could have it as my something blue. She was so kind when my mom asked for help and I know she probably was running late to other deliveries so I will never forget the care she took to do that for me. read more

Andraya was so nice and patient with going back and forth on the inspiration board, and we ended up with something I really loved for the bouquets. Stems was also super understanding about our having to postpone due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our contract with them eventually because we hired a wedding planner to help with the pandemic version of our wedding, and Stems was already booked for the additional services that our planner wanted to hire. They treated us very fairly throughout the whole process. Stems is a trustworthy business with kind, artistic people. It included a delivery fee (local Brooklyn delivery), tax, and tip (I included a tip because I assumed that someone would be doing some flower arranging). ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY EIGHT DOLLARS for ten flowers. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they gave me a free "basic glass vase" when I complained., instead of charging me an extra $8. My boyfriend gifted me a *flower arranging workshop* at Stems Brooklyn for my birthday back in May, and I'd been looking forward to it ALL summer! I follow them on Instagram and love the videos that they post :) The workshop did not disappoint and I had such an amazing time learning different techniques and tips. *Madineyah* was the host for the evening and she was very helpful and was patient in answering all of our questions. She first went through the names of the flowers that were provided for us -- a nice mix of greens and flowers, some of which I've never seen before. Then, she went through the techniques of making a centerpiece and a front-facing arrangement by arranging them in front of us. We had plenty of time to arrange our own bouquet, with a mason jar with water provided for us to take home. There were only about nine people in the workshop so Madineyah was able to walk around and take a look at our arrangements and chat with us. The space is super cute and homey (they share with a yoga studio). The only thing that bothered me a bit was with the eucalyptus that was provided -- a lot of the leaves were a bit rotten and not "full". But the flowers were beautiful and vibrant. I didn't realize how therapeutic flower arranging is and am looking forward to practicing at home! I'll definitely be back for one of the other workshops they provide, maybe the flower crown one?! read more

Stems did my wedding on 6/1/19 and did an amazing job!!! Zara instantly made us feel comfortable and like she understood our vision, and all we had to do was send over some inspiration pictures and she brought what we didn't even know how to describe to life! The florals was one of my absolute favorite parts of the day and people are still talking about our chuppah. I'm jealous that all of the other people that hired Stems for their wedding were so over the moon. I wish I could say the same. I give them 4 stars because i don't want to ruin their ratings since this was partially my fault. I did not give much direction at all on what I wanted for my wedding but what I got was nothing like what the pictures in their brochure that I said I wanted them to emulate. We picked up the florals on the day of and many of them stems were dropping in the focal arrangement and the bridal bouquet. They said because they chose delicate flowers they might have drooped during the day but they were that way when I walked into the venue. My family owned a flower shop for many years and I understand depending on season and availability no arrangement can really look like the photo but I was so disappointed! Not EVERYTHING was bad! They were very kind and lovely to work with, if I was more stern on what I wanted without being so trusting perhaps I would've got similar results to the other brides. I posted photos read more

Stems nailed it for my wedding at the Dumbo Loft yesterday!! OMG - the hanging arch (pictured below) and green vines hanging from the vertical wooden beams were !!! The florals really elevated the organic, rustic, semi-wild and natural look we wanted.
