This place was amazing as Cindy Lus, however since the ownership transfer to Wendy Lou...many things have changed. After several times of going in for a donut or bottle of water and leaving upset..We no longer go there at all..and after posting a review explaining how offended we were by how we were treated by the owner Wendy...she deleted the review entirely and then blocked me from accessing the page at all...then when my boyfriend wrote a review, she wrote back a very controversial instigating comment.... Both the review that he wrote and the comment she wrote back to it, I posted pics here on photo section. She then blocked him as well. We have also been blocked from 2 other local cottonwood pages since this happened. Pages that I belonged to for many years before she ever owned this gas station. I have lived in cottonwood the majority of my entire life...my mother was a teacher at evergreen school on bowman road for 19 years until she died. Me and my brother went to school there as well and then to west valley. My daughter now goes to evergreen. My boyfriends father owns a home here in cottonwood. Most of our friends are here in cottonwood. We participate in all of Cottonwood events every year. Rodeo, parades, shopping, you name it. We do not deserve to be treated this way. I have been told from a Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce member that Wendy in fact "has issues assuming that everyone's a druggie or drug dealer." I'm all for "taking our town back" and "cleaning up the crime" ...however she's taking it a step too far and seriously offending people...good people... Non-drug using people, people that do a lot for this town. And more importantly, love and think the world of this town. Miss Wendy Lou- I am confident that you will not be able to delete this one. So, Please understand that... Not everybody in this neighborhood is a druggie and not all home owners on high street sell dope. Not all men on this block hit their women. Not everybody that has ever went to Planned Parenthood where you used to work, is a low income or uneducated woman, Or a woman who doesn't know how to take care of her kids. Please know that you have lost the support of good people, and we will make sure that all of the people that we know and love, that are also good people...stay away from your gas station. read more

Cindy was an amazing buisness owner, Customer service is such a HUGE deal to a little town like Cottonwood! But since the shift in ownership I can't see myself EVER stepping back into what once was filled with such great memories!! Growing up in this small town you build relationships with local owners.. well because you see them on a daily basis, they almost become family. But not at Wendy Lou's! I honestly can't see this place striving while in her hands, I expect buisness to decline dramatically && all because of her attitue &&judgement towards her customers!! We spend our hard earned cash in there ... Deffinetly not to get treated like low life scum! So here's a little tip for you Wendy... take some customer service classes, LEARN how to interact with people and stop judging EVERYONE that walks in soo quickly! Remember .. judging someone dosent define who they are .. it dedines who YOU ARE!! ONLY WAY THIS PLACE WILL EVER SEE MY OR MY FAMILY'S BUISNESS IF WHEN THEY GET A NEW OWNER ! We stop at Cindy Lu's (aka Wendy Lu's) when we are downtown. The prices are great and they have been nothing but courteous. The gas station is kept clean and it is right next to Roger's Frosty which is a great place to stop for a shake or root beer float. read more

I love their sign, AMERICAN OWNED! esp. in a town with 9 gas stations between bowman rd and gas point rd. Cindy is great, they truly know their customers and their names. Always the best employees behind the counter. Im willing to pay a lil more in gas, knowing the money i spend stays in this country. read more
