Zero stars . . . This guy Gary.. who runs it acts like a baby ! Him and his wife are arguing with me over where I want to unload a vehicle I told him it was not his business what I was doing . . . So he towed it all the way back from down town redding where it was going to be worked on. . . too Shasta lake city said 150 per hour then said 300 per hour and finally said he would take it for 1500 so it could be choped up . . . Never did I say I wanted to give it too him . . . Cops show up and chat for several hours in the heat . . . Then say he's taking it to his yard . . . I was called to help a friend move out of Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park and Lake Blvd. I had my trailer attached to my SUV parked in front of space unit #8 in the park to allow us to load the trailer with the remaining property of her grandmothers since her Death a few months back in February of 2021. Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park Manager had filed for a Court Ordered Eviction for park space unit #8 for the reason the grandchild of the deceased grandmother was only 48 years of age and not 55 years of age or older to reside there according to Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park regulations. The grandchild did not reside there in the Mobile Home Park as she lives in her own home 1 hour away in another County. Lake City Towing & Recovery was called 5 times by the Manager of Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park to tow any vehicle that was associated with the help of moving the remaining belongings from that unit #8. The Managers reason for ordering the tow of any vehicle was we were in the "Fire Lane". We did not block any other residence driveways nor the way to pass. We moved two vehicles that were loading property in front of unit #8 to the visitors parking which was about 500 ft down and around the corner and I pulled my truck and trailer into the driveway of the Mobile Home space unit #8. Two larger Lake City Tow & Recovery trucks came and blocked my truck and trailer in the driveway preventing me a disabled US Marine Veteran from exiting the park property with their illegal use of both Tow Trucks to prevent me from leaving and for them to Tow my SUV and Trailer. We had to call Redding Police Department in order for them to move the Tow Trucks from blocking my SUV and Trailer in the driveway of unit #8. The two Lake City Tow and Recovery trucks were ordered to move by the City of Redding Police Department. I had also called 911 for Medical Help for the grandchild for Respiratory problems due to the Stress, Harassment and the fact she did just lose her grandmother a few months prior. Two hours I was held against my will in this Twin View Terrace Mobile Home Park by the Lake City Towing & Recovery. I would not live in or recommend to live in this Trailer Park or use the the Tow Services of Lake City Towing & Recovery. Semper-Fi read more

Terrible. Got towed and was forced to wait 2 days to get it back. Then charged for 3 days on top of the tow. Also was only visiting so without the vehicle was left stranded without cash (food or shelter)for 2 days. Explained this and was told 'not my problem' thanks for the experience in homelessness but seriously what kind of person strands someone with nothing for days? NEVER, NEVER, NEVER take your vehicle to this shop. We let them work on our vehicle that had a brand new engine it with very few miles on it. They had our vehicle for a couple of weeks and we kept calling them to see what the progress was on it only to get unclear answers as to what was really wrong and exactly when it would be done. After a month we decided that this is not how a company should respond to a customer and felt uncomfortable with our vehicle being in this shop. We went to pick it up and they tried to say that we owed them almost approx. $700. We were dumbfounded and could not figure out what exactly they did to warrant being paid what they were asking for. We negotiated down to approx. $500 (which we did not get a receipt for) just so we could get our vehicle the hell out of there. As we drove it home, it ran much, much worse than it did before (we took the vehicle to this shop for a timing problem and when we left it would not even shift). It sat in our yard in non op status and then my husband went to move it to a different location in our yard and all the oil drained out of it onto my driveway (how do we go from a timing issue with a vehicle to a vehicle not shifting and oil everywhere and it needing a new engine???? I guess only the shop owner would know that). I contacted the shop owner Mr. Gary Mangles on April 16th only to have him yell and scream at me and hand his phone over to his wife?? girlfriend?? that called me vulgar names and threatened to kick my ass! What kind of business owner reacts and allows this unprofessional threatening behavior in response to a customer complaint! read more
