I recommend this place for Taiwanese food I do recommend calling in your order because supplement sometimes the weight might take longer as they do not have very much stuff this is a few places that the pork chop is actually quite crispy so if that is what you like definitely I recommend one of the items to get the crispy right job they also have a lot of Frozen items like dumplings Etc that you could purchase also note that they are closed one of the weekdays they don't remember what it is either Monday or Tuesday or something like that so check their hours and every so often they also closed for some reason so call ahead to make sure that they are open before you go there that lastly parking is terrible and it's probably worse than worse because the few spots available are shared between multiple businesses and of course the spots are super tiny so be mindful and prepare yourself for that

This is a well-rated on Yelp and it's well deserved. Cindy's Kitchen is located in an unassuming plaza and the interior is nothing notable. Their food is the exact opposite, comforting and delicious with giant portions. We got the beef combo noodle soup, one with wide noodle and one with thin noodle. I prefer the wide noodle because it was more qq, while the thin noodles were a little overcooked. The sauce on the braised pork rice was delicious. I recommend mixing the pork and rice together, it creates a perfect combo with the pickled greens.

The BEST beef noodle soup I've ever had! This hole in the wall spot packs a punch when it comes to their food! We ordered beef noodle soups, a crispy chicken over rice, and dumplings. Everything was a 10/10. The noodles had this really bouncy texture and was very flavorful from the broth. The beef was also very soft and the veggies were cooked perfectly. As for the crispy chicken rice, they give you a HEFTY amount of rice and the chicken is crispy yet still juicy. The dumplings were also flavorful and you get 12 pretty decent sized dumplings! There is only one server here so we gave her some grace as most of time the tables were full. Took lots of time for refills and for the check/ boxes. One thing I thought was weird was that I asked for two containers for leftovers- so I could separate the noodles and the soup to make sure it doesn't get soggy. And she had this weird look on her face and laughed at me. It was pretty rude.

Food: 9.0/10 Service: 8.5/10 Quality: 9.0/10 History: 9.0/10 Consistency: 10/10 over the span of a decade They increased the menu options, in the past coming here I've always gotten their cold dishes to go, and their beef noodle soups. Their dumplings have always been a hit out of the ball park. Today I tried their beef assorted vegetables stir fried covered rice. It was beyond my expectations, and savored every gravy coated rice without leaving anything behind on my plate. You can taste each individual crispiness of the broccoli and carrots and the beef wasn't overly drenched in tapioca starch or put under baking soda to make it extra rubbery, it was just the right amount of chew with each muscle fiber tearing off like a tendered bbq brisket. And of course I ordered myself some San xian dumplings today, shrimp, pork, and vegetables. Cindys is a staple of the community it's been opened by one of the most OG restaurant chef owners in the Chinese / Taiwanese Restaurant space since the 90s and early 2000s. And for decades they continue to maintain their consistency and duty to presenting authentic, genuine good Chinese street food for the communities around Hacienda Heights CA. Excellent

I've been here several times, and the beef noodle soup here is one of the best I've had in the SGV and Rowland Heights area. The broth is flavorful, the noodles are a perfect texture, and the beef tendon is so good! It is a smaller restaurant but they also offer takeout options. They have dumplings for sale as well which look to be made in house, but I haven't tried it yet because I always come back for the beef noodle soup! I want to gatekeep this spot so they don't get too busy, but really I think they deserve the business!

Small mom and pop type place. This place came on my radar because I heard that their beef noodle soup was really great and that's why I wanted to make a trip out here. It's located in a small strip mall that feels slightly off the beaten path in the area. I came during the week wanting something soupy, and this place was perfect. They also sell frozen dumplings to go and other dishes that you can take to go or eat there. When I got there, the place wasn't too busy so I was able to sit right away and I was helped by some really sweet people. The noodle soup came out pretty quickly and it was as great as I imagined. I also ended up ordering a package of dumplings to go so I can eat later at home. Definitely recommend this place and these are the type of places I like to support!

Cozy, inviting restaurant to get some solid Taiwanese food. Came here with my Taiwanese friend as we are always trying to find the best Taiwanese food. Some of the items I had here included beef noodle soup, braised pork, and fried pork chop and although these items were solid, none of them impressed me and my friend that much. Service was very friendly and prices are affordable. I'd probably come back to try their other items.

Great family resturant, friendly service but can be a little slow because only one one person is serving 7 tables. Most dishes taste great and they have many variaties of great tasting cold dishes.

As I get older and older, there are two things that's prevalent. 1) I tend to forget a lot of things, including reviewing Yelp restaurants I went to a month ago. 2) I tend to gravitate towards childhood staple hole in the wall places to eat rather than chain restaurants. Come enter Cindy's Kitchen. A restaurant with the smallest parking lot and table made for 5 to 6 parties. You know what though? If you can find a spot, they'll make it work for you here. I was lucky enough to score a table but the people who came after had to wait. The owners here do try to have a table ready for the party. As you enter, you're greeted by the staggering amount of side dishes available here. It's probably the most I've seen ever in a restaurant. They have some all ready to go, while some you can buy by the pound. But the day I was here, we were here for some childhood favorites such as pork chop rice. It's good, it's got a stewed egg along with minced pork. If you look closely at the minced pork there seems to be mushrooms and mustard greens. Both common to the traditional Taiwanese staple dish. BTW, they give you a heaping portion of rice. Maybe equivalent to 2 bowls at home. We had to order something green to go with it and the string beans with eggplant fits the bill. I don't know why more Chinese restaurants don't put both together because we love both dishes. I highly recommend ordering it if you too love both dishes but don't want to order two separate ones. The beef noodle soup, well it was terrific. If you know me and beef noodle soup, I'm always on the hunt for really great ones. This one is no exception, it is a MUST order. Has just enough spices and heat that comforts your stomach and triggers your childhood memories on why this is one of your favorite dishes. Beef is tender and flavorful and comes with boy choy and a 1/2 small jar of mustard greens. (We finished whatever was in the jar, our compliments to the chef ) I do want to point out I had originally asked for 1 container for 2 dishes. But the lady saw what I had to take home and decided to give me 2 different containers. I merely pointed this out only because this is typically what Asian aunties would do. To tell you that separate this dishes so you don't mix up the flavors when reheating. I've been dying to come back here, I think I'll make a visit soon!

This place gets packed fast. You have to sign your name on the clipboard. Luckily, we got the last booth that just opened up. We kept things simple and all of us ordered the ribeye with pasta, just 2 with mushroom sauce and 1 no sauce. We also ordered the popcorn chicken and calamari for appetizers. We definitely loved the popcorn chicken. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. We did get scolded for not eating/finishing our broccoli, but there was just so much food, and we couldn't pack up leftovers to leave in a hot car. We are looking forward to dining here again the next time we are in town. Accessibility note: must cross busy entrance driveway. Ramp available to enter restaurant, no steps. Restaurant is a bit crowded, but if you can transfer to the booth, you are good. Your mobility aid/wheelchair will most likely be moved out of the way. Single stall restroom located in the back. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone.
