When me and my sisters arrived at the theatre we were immediately met with our food and drinks being delayed by almost an hour. When we were going to see our designated movie, Scream 7, we were all asked for ID. We had a guardian with us who was 18 and but the rest of us were underaged. When we looked at the website it says, "underage teens can see an R-rated movie with a parent or GAURDIAN who is 17 or older". We were still refused service to go in and told that we could either get a refund, go see another movie, or get out of the theatre. When we refunded our tickets to see a different one, we were followed into the theatre. The staff was incredibly rude about the situation and i would not rec anyone to go there. read more

I've go to this theater often and I never have an issue when I'm there. The staff have always been friendly and don't have an attitude.

They say a moxie starts at 6:35. That means 7:05 at the earliest. I came to see a Christian movie and had to watch demon possessed previews first. Catch a Clue cinemark!! I don't want to have to watch horror movie previews before I watch my Angel Studios movie!! And 30 minutes of previews is ridiculous!! read more

Thank goodness I am a Cinemark Movie fan member. I received an e mail that we could have a private watch party, and the timing was perfect as we were looking for something to celebrate my sons birthday. We had a private watch party for the four of us, and everything about our experience was top notch. It was great to watch the Empire Strikes Back on the big screen, as my son and daughter have seen it on our TV at home, but for all of to experience it together was awesome. Thank you Cinemark for allowing us to have a nice evening during COVID, and your staff was great, and everyone social distanced. read more

Family brought me out to watch a movie for Father's day weekend. Front end of movies was clean and plenty of employees to take food orders in a timely manner. 340p showing of The Flash. Walked in as the 4 employees walked out from cleaning the theater. Walked to our row# 3 and found popcorn and dirty napkins all on the floor and on our seats. (We attend this theater often with the memberships) If 4 employees can't sweep and keep the theater clean on their own, maybe a 5th employee needs to go supervise? Or , just do the job correct in the first place ? Look forward to attending the movies again. read more

With many other movie theaters in the area to choose from, this one continues to be our favorite and go-to theater for their great deals, comfortable recliner chairs, big screens, and always have a police officer outside (at least every time I come here, I would see one) to ensure your safety. Compares to the other, more well-known Cinemark 17 and IMAX off of 635 and Webb Chapel, you get more for your bucks here with more comfortable chair and the prices are cheaper too. They also offer student and military discount which can make a big difference especially if you go often. Also, make sure you reserve the tickets online on discount Tuesday ($5/ticket, or BOGO for about $7/2 tickets if you have AT&T Thanks) when it gets super packed here. If you haven't signed up for their Movie Club membership ($8.99/mo), I highly recommend it. You get 1 credit every month that goes toward any 1 movie of your choosing, also $8.99 for any additional tickets (extra fee for 3D and XD), plus 20% discount at the concession. This place is not perfect and not the cleanest every time we come here, but it sure beats a lot of other theaters for the price that you pay for. read more

Went there to see the Fnaf movie, food was as expected, gave me a lot of jalapeños for my nachos so I was very pleased with that and the seats were comfy in the XD theater room. I'd go again to this location, it was nice and I enjoyed the movie, only thing is the movie didn't start till 20 minutes after the supposed showtime at 2:30pm, actually started around 2:50, didn't get out of there till 5pm but I was in no rush so it's not really a complaint, just unexpected, still had a good time. read more

Being new to the area, I didn't realize how close this place was to where I'm staying! A local friend and I went to see Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker! Staff were friendly and polite! The theater we had was small but cozy and in my opinion was perfect. I prefer it over a giant stadium seating theater with so many people packed in constantly moving around, talking or checking their phones! So distracting in a movie!!! Reclining seats were very comfy and relaxing. I had to fight not falling asleep and start snoring!!! My family will for sure enjoy coming here once I move them with me into the area!!! read more

I had already seen Glass, but with half a Saturday free, and having located Unbreakable, I decided to secure Split and then see the later showing of Glass at this theatre following my movie marathon. First, the theaters are small. It is a reserved seats situation, which can be great, if you plan ahead. However, the small rooms limit options. The service staff has very little concern for their jobs and efficiency, it seems. First, the general concession area is disorganized in task delegation. Everyone kept thinking someone else had already helped me. So I waited. When I got to the seating, someone was in my seat. I considered sitting somewhere else, but I didn't want to steal someones seat. I went back to the front where a manager called another manager, and they approached the individual. It became a situation, so I just asked where the person who stole my seat was sitting and sat there. Front row. Not the most comfortable, but okay. At a slower part of the movie I walked out to snag a beer at the bar area and the young lady was really passive. I ordered. Seemingly she needed to change the keg, but did not communicate this. Waiting for this to happen, I missed about 20 mins of the film. If I hadn't already seen it I would have been pretty upset. All in all, not a bad theater. Just don't expect the staff to be particularly helpful, and go ahead and reserve your seats online. read more

I always have a great time when we go to the movies here. I especially love their super comfortable and adjustable lounger type chairs. I have back issues and I can get comfortable in these seats and move and readjust if needed because I can't sit in one spot for long periods. Most movies have those tight little stadium type seating. Not good. I was able to purchase a metal refillable bucket to bring to further trips for refills of popcorn. The screens were great, no rips or stains. The restrooms were always clean when we attended. We will continue to come on senior discount Tuesdays. Even Christmas Day! I halteady have tickets! read more

Do I *really* want to write this review? It could create a bit of a Heisenbergian problem for me. Oh well, what am I here for anyway? I've spent the past few months trying to find a theater nearby that is not too expensive, not too crowded, and not too ghetto. Most of the theaters in the Arlington area fail on one or more of those accounts. The cheapest one is in a nearly dead mall (six flags mall) that looks like zombies should be jumping out of the walls (if zombies could jump) and the closest one (at the Parks) is like paying for Harvard for a community college education. One matinee and the others all $10? Give me a break. Movie Tavern smells like urine (sheesh, people, go pee in the bathroom, not your seat, it's just a freaking movie!) and Studio Movie Grill I don't even think has matinees. I made the surprisingly short trek to Mansfield last weekend for the Harry Potter movie, on opening weekend, Sunday at noon. There were people there, but it wasn't packed by any means. Tickets weren't dirt cheap ($7 adults, $6.50 kids) but they were much cheaper than the Parks for that time of day. The theater was clean and new. Refreshments were about what you would expect except they made me feel good by offering a $0.50 discount on any two drinks (ah, the joys of psychology...I see you manipulate me but it still works). Anyway, this may become our go-to theater of choice. Now forget I said all that, I don't want it getting crowded :) read more

This is a nice place i have to admit but I'm not a movie snob. It doesn't take much to impress me at the movies all i need is good sound and for my feet not to stick to the floor and I'm all good. I came to see ant man in 3d but i had no idea it was in the extreme xd theatre which cost a lot more than the regular movie theatre and on top of that its in 3d so i ended up paying 15.50 for it. Im used to paying 8.00 for 3d at the six flags mall location so paying this price seemed insane to me. I just chalked it up to a treat for myself. The place was nice and the screen was bigger than what I'm used to and the sound was like I've never experienced before and i could swear the seats vibrate a little which was kinda awesome. Would i go again? Yes but only for special movies i really want to see other than that i think I'm just going to drive to six flags mall to see a movie. read more

I don't get it. Maybe I'm a movie theatre snob? (Ok I am) But this Cinemark is not a 3,4, & especially not a 5 star theatre. However If reclining chairs are the most important feature while enjoying a flick, then you're in luck. But if you prefer a theatre with clean floors, 2019 concessions, (ie pizzas, nachos, cookie pies, an actual full bar, popcorn seasonings, & other deliciously unhealthy snacks) and doesn't serve overly salted popcorn, keep driving. -to Cinemark West Plano. It's the only movie theatre in the metroplex I've experienced so far that has its sh#!?t together. read more

Nice comfy chairs, good quality presentation...in other words, the picture & sound quality is near perfect. I have seen one movie in 3D and two regular in the last month or so. I like their early-bird/matinee prices. The first regular show of the day appears to be consistently $6.75. The other early shows also seem to be discounted. You can purchase your tickets online before arrival & simply print them at the kiosk. Might be an improvement over the apathetic employee working the booth today. I was paying cash, though, so there you go. That is, in fact, the only reason there are not five stars. Everyone else seems to be very friendly. The theater is VERY easy in & out. Today, there were only four people in my movie, so the choice of seating was wide open. The bathrooms are clean and conveniently located (if I don't get turned around and almost leave the theater). I also have to compliment the leg room. I enjoy being able to cross my legs without cracking my knees on the seat in front of me. In short, they have competition at the Parks Mall & Studio Movie Grill, but I prefer to come here & not fight for a parking space. Also keep in mind there are before and after the show dining options in the same parking lot. That is another big plus. Bottom line- this is my go-to theater in the area. read more

I give it 5 stars for the low key vibe, the less crowded, which always makes a movie more enjoyable. The seating was not too comfortable for my 5 ft self, my legs were dangling the whole time, and my boyfriend wasn't too comfortable in the seats. But the staff was friendly, we went to a 12:30 pm show on a Saturday. We got an ICEE from the concession stand, and I think it was like $5.50 or so and they had Coke, Cherry & Strawberry Lemonade to choose from. The restrooms and hallways were nice and clean. I would definitely come here again in the future, less hassle then going to the Parks mall where it's always crowded. ;) read more

Great movie theater. Very comfortable seats. Big screen. The police were very friendly.

The major thing for me is cleanliness! The front area is your 1st presentation and should always be well maintained. It needed to be clean on our visit. I understand that there is a busy time, however, there has to be a designated employee(s) to keep your initial presence clean. I was in the XD theater and it was a good sound quality and the seats were good but again, clean the seats out as well as the cup holders and the buttons people touch. It needs to be more sanitized for sure. The restroom outside the theater was decent. Not sure about the others. The area where you get condiments..OMG It was such a mess I did not even want to bother. read more

This theater is in the process of remoding and only half is open right now. They have installed the lounge chairs and it is a great place to see a movie Just went to see Bueaty and the Beast. Most times after sitting thru a full movie my back really hurts. With the new seating no problem. I also have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I actually love coming here. We used to go to the cedar hill one but man they suck so bad now due to kids talking so loud during a movie. The Mansfield one so far so good, the kids doesn't talk during the movie so that's a big plus for me and the seats are comfortable. read more

As other reviews have said there is plenty of competition for this theater with The Parks AMC and several eat-in movie theaters within 5-10 miles. This one does a good job of not being over run most nights. This is our primary theater and I've had issues with the preview selection before a movie in the past. One instance was when I went to see a comedy and 5 of the 8 previews were hard core horror films. I mentioned it to the management and for the most part they admitted they had a say but not full control. This time we went and saw Star Wars and the previews were appropriate for films similar in rating which was nice. I do find that they generally have 8-9 previews which seems like a lot but that's just my opinion. It's pretty clean, good snack bar and easy to get in and out of. I do really like that now all the theaters are assigned seating and have electric recliners. It cost more but not having to show up 30 min ahead of time and hope you don't get stuck in the front row is worth the extra buck or two. We will continue to go here for our movies when life gives us a night off and it's worth a look if you're in the area! read more

Favorite theater! Fairly clean. I mean seriously people movie theaters aren't perfectly clean, let's be honest it just doesn't happen. But this one is better than a lot of others in the area which is nice. Nice staff, great reclining seats, plus no crazy big crowds AND reserve seating, which I totally love! And that's what's great about this theater. I don't do big crowds of people that cater to the masses, so this place is perfect for me. Yep my kind of movie going experience. read more

I have never written a review about a movie theater before but I had to make an exception. Most theaters are all the same so I don't think there's much of a difference but this theater is noticeably FILTHY! I am one of those who are impacted immediately by my environment and as soon as I step into this theater whether they are super crowded or not there is always a sea of popcorn and trash EVERYWHERE!!! I cannot stand it!! I don't know who the management is but it seems like a simple fix in order to make folks' movie-going experience a lot more enjoyable. Maybe new management is needed?? I don't know...otherwise everything else is typical but the filth is the only thing that is exceptional here. I'll find another go-to spot in the meantime. read more
