DDR machine

Super friendly employees. Awesome themed drinks. Tons of classic consoles and emulators in addition to traditional arcade games. And best of all - THEY HAVE AN OLDSCHOOL DDR MACHINE! Super chill ambiance. I will absolutely be back here! This place is truly a hidden gem in the vast, vapid wasteland that is Arlington.

Came here for my sons 10th birthday. Kids were upset we didn't go to check e cheese at first but grew on this place. Good food with good games. Pizza was large and cheese stick and onion rings were right on the spot. Was not a fan of their wings. The chicken didn't taste right and the bone was broken inside. Would get everything else again though.

My husband and I decided to try a new place in The Highlands. We were originally going somewhere else but spotted Blackdog Pizza. We ordered the honey bbq wings and the hand-tossed supreme pizza. The wings were hot from the hopper and crispy yet tender inside. The bbq sauce was very complimentary to their ranch dressing. The supreme pizzas was so fresh and the dough was soft as pillows!!! I'm a tender dough/meat person. I recommend Blackdog Pizza and the location isn't bad also. It's right next to The Improv.

Food was okay, but games don't have a wide variety, more of the older games, but really fun.

Arcade was pretty bad. Poor selection of games and not well maintained. Definitely better options around

Busted up games, half of which don't work, staff is glued to their phones, and literally everything is sticky. 0/10.

We ordered nachos that look like there was actual dog food on it for the chicken. Don't trust them.

Tokyo Station is the sister location to Free Play Arcade, the groundbreaking bar/arcade concept…read more This location used to be a Free Play Arcade but has now been converted to a Japanese arcade theme destination. If you're expecting old school arcade games like Free Play Arcade, you'll be disappointed. If you want to be transported to Japan via Arlington, read on. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Step into the world of the Japanese arcade. As you walk in, you'll notice claw and Gachapon machines tempting you to play and win something. There's Japanese pop music piping through the speakers, and a dedicated room full of imported Japanese arcade games add more sounds. There's also a dedicated bar and dining area. It was relatively empty at 12:30 PM on a Friday. But it's also simply INCREDIBLE if you're into Japanese culture. You're not in DFW anymore. 2 Star. Service - There's a friendly bartender, if you want to order drinks (I did not). Otherwise, you place your order at a kiosk, grab a numbered puck, and then grab a seat. When your puck starts making a sound, your food will be ready at the windows. Heads up, if you leave you table unattended the staff with clean up so others can sit. They're very efficient. 1 Star. Food - Let me first say, if you're looking for the Free Play Arcade experience, you will be disappointed. If you're looking to be transported to a Japanese arcade (me) this place is awesome. The kiosks are very straight forward; you can order packaged ramen to ramen made in house. I went with the Street Tonkatsu. The broth was mild (not overly salty), and the pork belly was very tender. I also ordered the Tokyo Station Tacos. The JBBQ pulled pork was surprisingly tasty, but I couldn't help but long for a Chinese Bao instead of a tortilla. But what impressed me the most was the booth we sat in. It was connected to a monitor, and we could access a bunch of SNES games. 1 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes! Tokyo Station is my kind of jam. The only thing that gave me concern is that it wasn't very busy on a Friday. I hope this concept stays, because it's the closest thing to a Japanese arcade besides flying to Japan. 1 Star.

I had a terrible experience at this Alleycats location with the manager and one of their employees…read more My nephew wanted to go rock climbing and after my sister signed their form my nephew was standing near the rock wall ready to be harnessed when their employee, who already seemed to be in a bad mood since we asked to use the rock wall given it was pretty slow that afternoon (at around 5-5:30 ish), came over and pushed him away from the wall even though my nephew wasn't doing anything. He only apologized once my sister told him not to touch my nephew and that he is disabled (autism) but he never tried to apologize until my sister confronted him. My nephew still wanted to climb as he wasn't aware what that man did to him was unjustified and wrong. My sister went to the manager and explained the situation but the manager (picture below: woman with short black hair and glasses) said that she was watching everything and began saying it was a parents responsibility to watch over ones child, my sister agreed with that and said that either way the man had no reason to push my nephew and that the correct response would've been to talk with her about it. The manager insisted their employee did nothing wrong. My sister recorded everything and told the manager this and also told her she wanted a refund. We went to the front desk and the manager came back with a completely different story now, she said that she spoke with her employee and that he said he never pushed my nephew. My sister then reminded her that she said she had been watching everything. She is a liar who didn't bother looking at the security cameras after my sister asked her to. She never bothered with any kind of apology even though her later statements imply she wasn't present at the time of the incident and she wasn't even sure about what had happened. This was overall a terrible experience that could've been resolved had the manager taken some responsibility and had not tried to justify the actions of a grown man towards a child with autism. This goes to show that they do not care for any child disabled or not. They don't train their employees to handle children with care and respect that they deserve. The employee didn't even know how to properly harness my nephew who despite all his excitement was standing still, he had to ask my sister to help him. From the manager to the red head employee, all of them handled this wrong and I will never come back. I hope everyone is careful with their children in their care given the manager was willing to defend a man who's first instinct is to push a child instead of talking to a parent. My sister was right next to my nephew when everything happened, I was sitting right there too and my nephew's only emotion was excitement even after he was pushed. Do better ALLEYCATS and employ better people for the safety of children.
