I always have problems with this theater especially with their employees and policies. I'm 15 and trying to watch a PG-13 movie at 6:50 PM and got kicked out because they don't expect me to handle myself. Me and my friends are extremely disappointed with the customer service and management. Also half the employees were prissy, rude and acted bitter towards me. It's not my fault you have a job you don't like, act better at your grown age. read more

I read some of the less-than-stellar reviews of this cinema and I went anyway. It turned out to be way better than I expected. Ignore all the old pre-pandemic reviews. This cinema is as nice as any I have been to in this area. It wasn't perfect, but the problems I saw were the usual stuff you find at any movie theater. We were in a theater with the Luxury Lounge seating (see photos). Every seat is a powered recliner you can adjust to whatever is comfortable. I can't speak for them all, but we tried three or four and all were working. One thing to note, the Lounge theater has a low wall at the front of each tier of seats, behind the seats in the row in front of you. Short people or children might have some difficulty seeing the bottom of the screen over the little wall. You definitely don't have to worry about somebody's head blocking your view, or someone reclining their seat into your lap. Lots of space both in and around the seats. It was almost like we had the screen all to ourselves. This was a very nice surprise and will make me give this theater preference over some other one. We were there early for a matinee so it wasn't crowded. Consequently the whole theater was clean and fresh. The bathrooms were decent. If you go to a late movie you might run into full trash cans and yucky bathrooms, but when we were there everything was fine. The Ticket Guys were friendly. The staff at the popcorn counter were cheerful and ready to go. If you buy an XL popcorn and/or a large drink they give you one refill of each. We paid $18.03 for an XL popcorn and large drink and it was (almost) more popcorn than we could eat. Yeah, a little pricey but snacks at the movies are NEVER cheap. Prices here seem to be in line with the rest. read more

Rude theater manager was when they shut down the drink machines early. No refills here. And the carpeting is dirty and nasty.

Very unprofessional employees. Always really long lines to get concessions because there's only two registers open, and 7 employees standing around doing nothing (including the manager). The place is always messy and the employees are dishonest, Twice now I've left something in my seat and the employees said it was never found even though we were the last ones to leave and the employees were the only ones in the theater because it was the last showing. And the theater is never cold enough. The only reason we keep going back is because we have Cinemark club and I hate paying fees to buy tickets online plus the discount on concessions is favorable. I think when the other theaters catch on and offer the same deal I might switch over. read more

This theater is old and disgusting. They purchased reclining chairs for their auditoriums, but good luck finding one that works. Their bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The toilets are stained. The arcade steals money so much that they put a sign with teeny tiny print that basically says, "when these games steal your money, there is nothing we can do." I'm not a super fan of going to the movies just because I like to be super comfy when I'm watching movies and I like to be able to pause when I need to leave but, there's always situations where a movie comes out and the hubs want that ultimate theatre experience, hence the closest theatre to the house, Cinemark 16! Cinemark 16 is an average theatre but they've recently started improvements such as offering the luxury loungers. Finally! comfy seats. Prior to this,they had the usual chairs where you can see people's heads. I'm short so every time a tall person sat in front of me I could barely see! The new layout in their luxury loungers fixes that problem, tee hee. At this point, I don't think all of their theaters have the chairs but you're able to determine which movies have the chairs by the logo luxury chairs on their website. My 3 star rating is strictly on the theatre experience, I'm not a fan of purchasing movie snacks. If you're a cheap movie goer like all me, all day Tuesday movies are $5! read more

Cinemark offers a pretty standard movie viewing experience. Look, I'm not much of a movie guy so take this with a grain of salt. Most of my movie going experiences these days involve taking the kids to see the newest kid flick. That's what this experience was and it was pretty no frills, but acceptable. Finding this Cinemark wasn't easy. The address wouldn't come up in my GPS despite having the newest version of maps. It brought me in the general area and we figured out where it was after some trial and error. if you're not from the area, it's all the way at the back past all of the massive stores in the strip mall. The parking lot is massive. The area close to the theater was packed with cars, but there was also a well lit empty lot along the right side of the building. Purchasing tickets was pretty easy and was around $24 for one adult and two kids. Concessions were more expensive at around $33 for one popcorn, three waters and three candies, but I guess that's par for the course these days. The theater seemed clean but the walkway to enter it was not. There was popcorn ground in to the carpet as well as trash littering the hallway. I would have expected they could have ran a vacuum in there but I guess not. The seats were smaller than other modern theaters I've visited. They did recline and had reasonable legroom which was nice. The movie experience was good and there were no sound or picture issues. I did have a super odd experience during the movie, but that was more of a neighboring patron issue. Picture this: I'm sitting in the aisle seat when I feel someone right next to my head. Thinking it was one of my kids, I turned and less than an inch from my face was a kid staring at me. He then grabbed my ear and I didn't know what to do. I just sat their motionless while some kid held on to my ear waiting for the parents to intervene. I guess they had a hands off approach to parenting as it took them quite a while. No apology or anything. Super weird. In closing, I'm sure I'll be back. I think Ice Age 73 comes out soon. read more

Wife and I brought our son to see pacific rim 2 and the place smells like sweaty feet in August mixed w a diaper!! The theatre has no AC on right now and I've been bitten by something twice. While I'm scratching my wife says, "something is biting me!" Oh did I mention the screaming child in the front of the theatre? I'm not coming back. Calling the health department tomorrow. read more

This is my mom's favorite theater. She needs handicap parking which is very close to the door and it seems to be laid out while we're walking can be to a minimum to get to the bathrooms and the get to your movie theater. Cinemark also honors Harkins reusable cups for the same cost as a refill at Harkins. That's brilliant! They have a typical theater food and hot food also. We're always pleased when we go to this theater. read more

The seats are comfortable, but they need to do something about their lack of soundproofing between theaters. It really sucked to hear explosions coming from the theater next door during a quiet part of the movie I paid to see. read more

Come on Cinemark, is it really that difficult to have good customer service? I've had too many bad experiences at this place to count them all. I've watched cashiers at the concession struggle while the manager just stood there with her arms crossed watching. When I asked her why she didn't help she blew me off and walked away and stood off to the side and continued to watch. Today we missed the beginning of the the movie because the film was blurry, they came in and fixed it but instead of starting from the beginning they started 5 minutes into the film. Is this really what my family and I paid $50 for? I'm sick of people in the customer service business acting like they're so miserable in their jobs. Very nice movie experience, a great option when on a beach vacation and it is raining! Seating was spacious, theater and restrooms were clean. The volume was way too loud at first. After my wife complained it was turned to a tolerable level, but still loud. The popcorn was some of the best I have ever had in a theater. read more

According to Website there is no actual opening or closing time But this need to be added as Information No one under the age of 17 will be permitted into this theatre on Friday and Saturday evenings after 6pm, unless accompanied by their legal parent. For movie theaters this place is pretty much a joke. Went for the showing of the Dark Knight. After 20 minutes of previews/commercials the show finally starts. About 15 minutes later than posted show time. About 20 minutes into the show the screen goes blank and stays that way for another 10 minutes. Finally hunt someone down and no one had any idea the show was not showing on the screen. Given the choice from now on the Grand theaters will get out business. It's a bit more of a drive but worth it. Show starts when it says it's going to start and it's just an all around nicer theater. read more

Went there the other night to see Dark Knight. Like Heather P said movie started 20 minutes late DK is 2 1/2 hours didn't have time for a late movie!!! I get in there and its like everyone feels the need to talk, the chairs recline but are not comfortable. They do have a specialty food line where you can get ice cream and other items not generally found in movie theaters. The seats smell and too many kids running around. I think I might head over to Grand myself. read more

Was visiting home over Thanksgiving break and took my younger sister to the movies to see the new Timothée Chalamet movie for her birthday. She's always had a huge crush on him and I knew it would make her birthday. Movie is set to start at 10:05, ending only a little bit after 11 (the movie was only an hour long). Though I and my friend are both over 18 and my sister was 17 we were still refused because of a policy stating that anyone under 18 cannot be in the theater after 11 PM. A manager was brought to the front to confirm the policy but was in a horrible mood - treated us awful. When calmly asked if five minutes after 11 was too far or if we could at least start the movie and leave at 11, she got incredibly short with us almost to the point of yelling and swearing. She called all three of us some really derogatory terms - so sad to see when managers give up after 8PM. Was never able to get her name but definitely won't be coming back. read more

Going to see The Lion King on opening weekend, we expected that it would be not only a full theatre, but that there would be some issues... Kinda goes without saying. Never did I expect dirty, smelly restrooms, screaming (literally) babies, children that were out of seats, running, climbing and talking throughout the whole movie and parents with no common courtesy to control their children. This theatre is notorious for unpleasant experiences and poor management and once again, they've earned that distinction. It's getting to the point where it'll be worth driving to Biloxi or D'Iberville to see if they offer a more pleasant experience. Full disclosure, it was a 7:30ish showing. read more

Worst movie experience I have had. Huge, sprawling theater with equally sprawling parking lot. Had a bad gut feeling about parking my truck there, because there were several shady looking people hanging out in the parking lot, and on the sides of the building looking out at the parking lot. Where I come from (North Texas) it's normal to have teenagers waiting outside for a ride, but these were grown ups that seemed more interested in watching everyone walking or parking in the lot. I hid/covered all my valuables in the truck, and went inside. I noticed popcorn. Everywhere. In the hallway, on the ground in the concession line, and all over in the theater when I got inside. Again, normal to see dropped popcorn in the theater, just not nearly this much and EVERYWHERE. The bathroom floor had just as much popcorn, mixed among used paper towels, and all seasoned with a generous helping of pee. I got into the movie, and the speakers were up abnormally loud. I am a movie buff and see about a movie a week, and this was so loud my insides were rattling. After I was settled into my seat and the movie began (a horror movie), a 20-something frat guy and 2 or 3 girls of the same age range came in late and sit directly in front of me. They were obnoxiously loud and had their feet up on the seat in front of them. They talked and giggled through the duration of the time I was there, at above normal outside voice level, not a whisper. The worst part was, the guy was trying to sound tough or something to the girls, and his way of doing that was exclaiming "F***!" really loud, every 30ish seconds, at the top of his lungs through every scary, quiet, suspenseful or exciting part of the movie. At about the halfway point I felt nauseous from the noise, the guy interrupting, the giggling, the smell of trash, and my unease about being parked in that parking lot as nightfall came. I left halfway through the movie (great movie, just awful experience). I hadn't left in the middle of a movie in my adult life, and haven't since. Especially a movie I liked. The next week I was itching to redeem that experience and so I decided to try a theater in nearby D'iberville. It was a much better experience, and I went there every week for the rest of the time I was staying in the area. read more

Great theatre, reasonable ticket prices. Not your typical reclining seats. Comfy to the extreme. No worries seeing over heads, never even know anyone is in front or behind. Reserved seating allowed our large group to be seated together. Wish we lived closer would definitely frequent this theatre. Snack bar with many fast food items. We did not order from the snack bar itself. Popcorn prices and drinks overly priced, typical at the movies, was to be expected. Overall loved the place. read more

Well I tried to see the Hitmans Body Guard but the girl, not going to say lady because she was not old enough, did not listen. She answered the phone when I was telling her what I wanted to see. I found the right theater but could not find my seat, she sold me the wrong movie. I found a manager told him what had happened and he went to switch the tickets to the correct one. He came back out with my tickets and said that there was not a discount on that one. I tried to explain to him the problem but it didn't matter. So I took a refund, my popcorn and drink and left. Customer service has gone down the toilet, not the drain. read more

It's your normal movie experience. Over priced concessions... This one has ice cream, burgers, hot dogs ect. Usually very clean including bathrooms. We always go after a movie has been out a week or two so we have the theater practically to ourselves so I can't comment on a crowded night. We come over this way to watch a movie every now and then when we are in the area. I think we have been coming here for the last 5 years or so. It has always been a decent experience. The theaters have generally been clean and the staff friendly. I like how they have a coffee/ice cream (and some nicer foods I think) area, though I can't say I've actually used it. We generally stick to soda and popcorn. I like how they are freshly popping their corn (a lot of places seem to pop it in advance now), but selling the popcorn flavors when most places have them out is a bit disappointing. The only reason they don't get four stars is because the speed of service has always been really slow. We have missed the opening of a movie more than once due to hugely long lines and either super slow service or only one person manning the counter when there should be three or four. read more
