Im being nice and giving cinemark 2 stars instead of 1 because i know i cant hold a theater accountable for the idiocracy and lack of etiquette on every person that comes in there. However, i can hold them responsible for the many times ive seen horrors in the bathroom..sound in movies going out, the picture going out. etc. However for some reason the Cinemark seems to get the worst crowds. Maybe during the week its fine but if you are a m-f 8 to 5 er, forget about going there on the weekends. I have NEVER been to a movie there on the weekend where people werent yelling out during movies, talking incessantly on there phones, children running up and down the aisles, babies crying. This is why Netflix prevails. We end up now driving to Diberville to go to the Grand. Totally different from my experiences. Most of the people that seem to be there actual seem to want to watch the movie and not plagued with ADD. Im not saying you wont encounter the guy who constantly checks his texts there but at least it isnt on the mass scale that cinemark gets. read more

For sure, I have been to better. We had the 'text checkers' up front, and the loud kid, probably five years old, babbling and running around during the flick, parents doing nothing to stop the little demon. The wind-bag (lady) behind us had to break down everything to her man, right in our ear. Not excited to go again, but we did get in on the matinee pricing, which was nice. read more

I've gone to this movie theater a few times and have never had a problem. I find the popcorn edible and the floors clean. The shows do start about ten minutes after the posted time but that has never been a problem because we are always late. We have the habit of showing up right as the promos start then going to buy the refreshments. read more

As far as movie experience it was great..only reason for not 5 star is the obvious pricing for concesions.

Great venue, wonderfully clean, reclining seats without those premium ticket prices. Great sounds and the picture quality was amazing. Just the right temperature, especially on a humid day. A pleasant afternoon. read more

It is not that bad of a place. I have read the reviews on here and heard some horror stories, but I have never experienced anything negative. Like any movie theater, the food and drinks are way too expensive. Prices for the show are comparable to other joints. Kids running everything, so there might be random problems. They have a game room, but keep taking games out me and my son enjoy, so that might be a negative?? lol read more

Why do they have to have the sound so LOUD. It was unbearable!!! Please turn the volume down some. I would have given it a 5 if it wasn't for that. My ears are still ringing!!!! read more

The theater if fine; the lines are horrendously long, and the reason is their policy of having customers select their seats at the ticket window, which takes several minutes per customer. We were 20 minutes late getting into our movie this afternoon because of this. Just sell us a ticket and let us find a seat! read more

Now with assigned seating for every movie. Good thing about unassigned seating is that you can sit wherever you would like. We were put between two smelly sweaty people. Because of this people sit wherever they would like causing issues. First time going since this new setup and I saw at least ten people have to get up for sitting in the wrong spot. It's a nuisance and headache. Won't be going back until it goes back to normal. read more

I came here back in early August of 2011 because my family and I want a different change of scenery when the day before, we were at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans baking our asses in the hottest part of the day. I thought a nice change of scenery in a dark, cool theater would be nice. It looked clean enough as we split up and my mom and brother got two tickets to see Cars 2.My dad and I got 2 to see Cowboys and Aliens. I ordered me a Hot dog and some fries. Dad took a look at the prices and just walk on to find him a seat. When I went through, I saw that sign advertising that Lion King Movie for god knows how many times. I mean really, Disney released it in theaters years ago, put it on VHS, released it on dvd, released it on dvd AGAIN with special features and some on exclusive releases, released it on bluray. Jesus, how much will Disney milk its old titles. Anyway, the seats were clean, and the small'ish crowd mostly consisting of children with their parents or legal guardians being quieter than you would expect. When the movie started, I thought there was something wrong with the picture, but I figured out it was an how the movie was suppose to look, all westerney. Anyway, the movie was great and when I left, my bro and mom were still watching Cars 2 so I went to the arcade to play some Marvel Vs Capcom 2. It took a bit for me to get use to the controls again because I was just playing Marvel vs Capcom 3 on my PS3 back at the inn that morning. Overall, it was an ok visit. I wondered why they didn't have 3D at the time but oh well. Next time I'm sneaking in my snacks. I could of bought 4 or 5 Hot dogs at Sam's Club's concession with their own large drinks for the price I got for the Regular drink, hot dog, and fries I got at the concession. read more

Gets pretty stuffed with kids at night, so try to go during the day. Otherwise, your pretty standard theater. They do neat events sometimes, so watch for those. read more

Their movie times and listings online can not be trusted. My husband had been wanting to see Unbroken so we planned a date night. When we got there they very unapologetically let us know that they cancelled that screening to play a different movie. I don't know when they made that decision so I don't know if calling ahead would have helped or not but they never updated their website. read more

was not allowed to buy tickets to the movie ride along 2 for myself and 4 young men, under the age of 17. given numerous reasons each time i said i didn't believe them or asked why. boiled down to the fact the boys were black and i am white (even though one of the young men is my grandson). reason i can confidently state this is because three black people volunteered to try and get the tickets and were allowed to, even though the same ticket issuer had previously refused our service. read more

I am not usually impressed. I have lived here (Gulfport) for 27 years and all the previous small theaters were better. It just always seems understaffed and dirty. I usually go during the week early so it's not b/c it's busy. I don't know why they even have a second concession stand, it's never open. I just expect more for the $. read more

Went to see a movie on Monday, February 20th at 9:35 pm. The first thing that stood out to me (and I obviously never paid attention to before) was that the establishment only offered a military discount to active duty members!!! What about the people that served/laid their lives on the line for the country for 20 plus years or period!!!! Retired people/veterans don't matter I suppose...and the second thing was that the theater STUNK!!! It smelled horrible...maybe it was due to the fact that we were the only ones in there, and the stinch is usually masked by the popcorn and other smells and people...but it just opened me eyes and NOSE!!! I didn't even want to sit in the seats because they smelled soooo bad. That was gross!!! It leads me to the questions of how often is that place sanitized/cleaned especially with the amount of people that frequents that place and how much do they really care about their customers? And what's more important to them the capital or the customers? read more
