first thing first i love this theater! I am in love with the new trays and seat warmers built into the seat. I finally watched "Is God Is" and whew... what a ride. The movie was dark, intense, emotional, and honestly unlike anything I expected. The storyline pulls you in immediately and keeps you locked in with twists, trauma, revenge, and moments that make you stop and think. The acting was powerful across the board, and the way the film blended pain, sisterhood, humor, and survival was beautifully done. It had a raw stage-play energy mixed with cinematic storytelling that made it feel unique and unforgettable. Some scenes were heavy and uncomfortable -- but that's what made the story hit even harder. It's not your typical movie night film; it's one that leaves you thinking long after the credits roll. If you like bold storytelling with strong performances and layered emotions, "Is God Is" is definitely worth watching. I'd give it a solid 8/10. read more

My wife and I have been coming to this Cinemark in Fayetteville for over a decade because the theater in Griffin is horrible. It's always been a nice experience, especially the XD auditorium. Recently however, they redesigned and installed smaller seats. While the new trays make eating convenient, the seats are so cramped now that you are right on top of the person next to you. Each seat used to have it's own armrest but now there's one tiny armrest that you must share. It feels just like any other theater experience now and making us reconsider the trip to get here. read more

Wear a hoodie. The employees were welcoming and friendly. It's a shame that this is the only theater around. I cannot believe this theater has the nerve to charge $16 a ticket for seats that look like this. The recliners were filthy -- stained, sticky, and clearly not cleaned in ages. The seat I was supposed to sit in had grime and debris all over it, and the leather was worn and cracked to the point where it looked like it belonged on the curb, not in a functioning movie theater. For the price they're charging, the bare minimum should be a clean place to sit. Instead, it felt like I needed to sanitize my entire outfit after leaving. If this is how they maintain the seats, I don't even want to imagine the rest of what goes unnoticed. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. This place needs a deep cleaning, repairs, and probably new management before it should be charging premium prices. read more

I preordered a pair of tickets for this past Saturday (3/21/26). I was told I needed to show ID that I'm over 18 , that's reasonable. What irritated me was the fact I was told it was okay for only either I or my sister to have an ID. Okay , that's cool. I show my ID , only to be told my sister still needs her. I was told it's okay as long as I'm her guardian , so I said I was. In response to this , I was then told I needed to show documentation because we looked too close in age. Due to this process , I lost my chance to get a refund for our tickets because it was showtime after all that back and forth. I am now out of just about $30 , precious time with my sister , and my day off. read more

With the weather being a ugly day, I decided I would spend my day playing catch up on current movies. So I came to see the movie MISSING & M3GAN but, I found it interesting that they could not print up my ticket for MISSING. However, when I also told the movie-clerk that I also wanted to buy a ticket to M3GAN...I found it odd that he was able to print this ticket up but, not the 1st movie (MISSING). Now I am wondering, is this one of those cases where...the theater is not giving the credit to MISSING...???? I'm a little disturbed by this and am wondering if this is what they do to discredit movie goers headcount? I'm feeling some type of way about this. I went to Tinseltown today and when I went today, I got this elderly woman who took my service and she had a little attitude when I was trying to tell her I was 17 years old. She was speaking crazy to me and my friend, so after that happened, she told us to go speak to the manager with an attitude. Then, after that happened the manager, he was kind of being a little disrespectful too. Then, when I got a legal guardian, he got here. The manager was still watching both of us with our legal guardian. I try to be very polite and respectful and be comprehending to the employee, but it wasn't going that way so next time this happened I will speak up for myself like I didn't this time and I hope this gets a message back to the place. read more

Use to love going here for a few years but today's events really changed my mind. Use to be introvert friendly where the theaters weren't packed for matinees, but I drove AN hour away from my side of town and had planned to spend the rest of the day in the area, today the usher carded me for a movie I'd seen here before with no problem. Then scanned my ticket and printed it out only to hold it and let me put some water bottles BACK INTO my bag then with attitude told me the food policy. I tried to explain I recently had a medical procedure and doctors orders are to stay hydrated in this Georgia heat, the bottles was for later and just to get them out of the heat outside. I then asked if I could leave them out of sight somewhere to get them later like hello what don't you comprehend that someone had a serious procedure. She laughed and refused, why do you have to laugh at somebody if you see this is important. Rude Then she called over another employee. To simply repeat the same thing over like a robot but not offer an end resolution. I'm just wanting to get to my movie atp and had to ASK myself like let me JUST throw them away then. And once I did and started too walk away she starts laughing and trying to get a person standing in line behind me to laugh too. Whats so funny about something like that. Real insensitive and unprofessional. Thanks for making me not ever drive an hour away to this place again. Whole day/ plans ruined, couldn't even focus on or enjoy my movie. Not bad! Not bad at all! As a movie buff that enjoyed and LOVED the movie theater experience, I must say this was a nice experience back. It's not the type of experience that I'm accustomed to but I intentionally took it ease. I need a theater with few people, clean and non sticky floors with a friendly staff. This place delivered that. I did not try the food, 4x experience or many of the other amenities. The bathroom was not filthy but it smelled a bit but that can be fixed. I do plan to return to support this theater whose prices seem to be favorable for all families. If you are looking, then you should try. read more

12/30/19 - I used to come here all the time growing up as kid because that's what all 90's babies did - blockbuster and movie theaters... we decided to see Richard Jewell and that movie was very good and informative, despite it profiling a tragedy that affected so many Georgians and the world. If you've been to one newer model Cinemark Tinseltown theatre with the big, comfy, reclining seats, you've been to 'em all! But that didn't stop the experience from being a great one. We did the line thing (as I forgot to pre-purchase via Fandango app-- rookie mistake.) and stood behind people that were torn on what to see and where to sit, but the line moved quickly! This theatre is quite popular as there were people everywhere, but the staff seems to know how to handle the masses and moved expeditiously. The popcorn was fresh and buttery, the cherry coke was carbonated, and the Nestlē Dibs were crunchy and slightly melted in the middle-- all the junk food that I like in my million dollar movie concessions tab was on point at Tinseltown! ... and Justice League was a pretty good movie! read more

This was actually my first time in Tinseltown and I wanted to post a review while its fresh. We came to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and everything went pretty smoothly. Pros: Very nice stadium seating with plush Lazyboy style power recliners! (If you get bored with the movie, you can always take a nap!) There werent as many seats as a normal theater, which can be good and bad - good because it makes for a relaxed atmosphere and you dont wind up stepping over people to get to your seat. Bad because limited seating means tickets could sell out quickly if its a popular show. The staff was friendly and helpful and bent over backwards, which can't be said of many in the service industry these days. Cons: Sticker shock! A movie for two with a medium popcorn, a hot dog and 2 bottled waters set me back $50! The popcorn was not fresh, the hot dog had been sitting a long time and the bun was torn apart (but served anyway) - I didnt notice until I was already seated. And did I mention 45 minutes of previews?? (no joke) Conclusion: I may have to save this theater for special occassions only... or when I have a spare $50 laying around! read more

Not a bad theater, second time I've been here since visiting Georgia. Unlike the Cinemarks I've been to in the Northeast, you pay for your tickets in the very front of the theater (similar to how older theaters work). Walking in, the lobby is fairly clean. The ushers seem to be less than happy to work but they're getting the job done. It seems that they have the "luxury sofa seats" here. So it's actual love seat couches and not the regular black, plastic seats that fold up. Seats were clean and actually not oily (likely because I saw the early bird). I wanted to see Thor but didn't want to go on the northside of town plus I had to go shopping afterwards so why not go to Fayetteville Pavilion. Shopping and movies all at the same time. We caught an early show and thank goodness because when we left it was crowded and a line. This is the first theater I've ever been to that gives you assigned seats. I still don't know how I feel about that but the good thing is you are guaranteed a seat especially on premiere days. This was one of those times. The interior is nice. The concession stands were crowded. No expensive popcorn for me. Had ther not been long lines I would have spent another $20. Glad I ate before I came to the movies. The seats are heaven. They are huge red leather recliners. Not just the back of the seat but the leg portion as well. When someone is walking through your aisle you don't even have to move and you can't see the person in front of you so there is no head blocking. Love this theater and will be back. read more

Visited 6/11/19 I normally do not visit this Theater because it is older and gives a dated feeling. But because of their Tuesday special of $5.00 tickets for all day movie showings. The concession area was disgustingly dirty and unkempt and the Teenagers were overwhelmed. I could tell that he was uncomfortable and I did my best to be very patience. There is no way for one person to take the order and make the order.. the lines at the concession stand began to get get ridiculously long. The Theater itself was clean but my seat was broken..lol The Management should take more pride in making sure the Theater is more clean and tidy to be more enjoyable for the Customer. read more

This theater has so much potential to be good but they have got to fix the AC. This is the third movie, each in a different room, where the AC has not worked. The first time we noticed this issue was while watching Avatar Way of Water, second time was for DND Honor Among Thieves, and this last time during Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. Each of these movies have been beautifully done and had the potential to be highly enjoyable if my fiancé and I were not sweating puddles in our seats. The ability to recline the seats is nice but the leather becomes unbearably hot when if feels like it's 95° in the room. You can't even enjoy the popcorn because it's so nauseatingly hot. Unfortunately we are going to give this theater a break until the AC gets fixed and I highly recommend everyone else do the same. read more

My husband went to the one in Fayetteville on 12/24/22 and he went toe the window at 6:55pm to get tickets and the cashiers where ignoring him.... nasty attitude and very unhelpful.. this is very unacceptable... When a company hires employees they need to make sure the people they hire polite, attentive and respectful people. We took in the 8:45 Queen and Slim movie tonight 12- 08 and I was COMPLETELY thrown off by the consession staff. First, it was a bunch of kids, but if I'm going to spend over 30 for snacks you need to be nice! These children saw me in the wrong line and walked passed me and basically ignored me. So I passed on the snacks and made sure our other friends didn't even bother spending more money with this rude crew! The theather was nice and clean, restroom appeared clean but reeked of urine. We've been here twice in the last 4 months. Both times, there was only a single ticket agent at the box office (which is outfitted for more queues), but this was probably appropriate for the level of customers both times. We may have gotten popcorn the first time (?); if so, nothing made a negative impression about it (including the price). The theaters are outfitted with the powered recliners, which are generally nice. I sometimes like these, usually when the theater is less crowded. In our most recent visit, someone had taken our selected seats, but there were plenty of other options, so no big deal. No issues with the sound or projection. Both were fine. Parking is plentiful, but the location is in part of a very large, interconnected shopping plaza. Traffic can be heavy in the area, from what I've seen. So in summary - I had no negative experiences here. It is not the most convenient theater to me, but I might opt to return depending on movie choices and / or showtimes. read more

So for my bon voyage or last night before came back to Vegas went out for movie with friend staying with in Riverdale, GA. We went see "American Assassin". The movie is pretty good. Really review about Tinseltown. LOL. It first time been to this theater usually not one of the things do when come out GA visiting friends. It was welcome break then going into city plus it came after my Chattanooga IM weekend. Chill get the legs up relax and watch good movie. Yay! Apparently guess they just renovated the inside to theater seating with the reclining seats and assigned seating. It just the norm across the country. The movie watching experience can say right there with the norm and definitely theater would go back watch movie again. The only reason not fan is the area that it located in not the best of areas. Or put it this way would be conscious of my surroundings if watched evening show. The concessions stands are ok. You will find all the normal comfort foods offer at any other theater. The staff was great from the lady at the ticket booth to the concession worker. It was great experience. read more

I really like this theater. My husband is not a big fan. I love the seats! They sometimes get me in trouble though because they are so comfortable I fall asleep and miss the movie. The service here has been pretty good. I like there concessions options and it's been pretty decent. I would recommend going here. It's always clean when I go. Also, they have a concession stand when you enter as well as on each side of the theater which is a bonus! read more
