The movie was dark, intense, emotional, and honestly unlike anything I expected. The acting was powerful across the board, and the way the film blended pain, sisterhood, humor, and survival was beautifully done. It had a raw stage-play energy mixed with cinematic storytelling that made it feel unique and unforgettable. Some scenes were heavy and uncomfortable -- but that's what made the story hit even harder. It's not your typical movie night film; it's one that leaves you thinking long after the credits roll. If you like bold storytelling with strong performances and layered emotions, "Is God Is" is definitely worth watching. I'd give it a solid 8/10.

We went to a matinee and the theatre was packed! The line for refreshments was extremely long and there was ere only 2-4 people working behind the counter at any given time. So, we had a lengthy wait to get popcorn and drinks. The one saving grace is that the previews were longer than the line. Honestly, the previews are too long. They played for about 30 minutes (and we spent about 15-20 mins of that time getting refreshments). My 4yo tired of the movie before it ended. She was begging to go home about 2/3 of the way through the movie and complaining that "this movie is too long!"...but I'm certain that was about the amount of previews and commercials that happened on the front end. Overall, the theatre is clean enough and the staff of friendly. However, the theater is a little older so the seats did not recline in the screening room we were in.

There are cute shops, lots of options for sweet treats (bakery, gelato, specialty coffee and tea, etc.) as well as lots of options for light bites, heavy meals, group activities or fun drinks. We patronized a few businesses as we walked, but I also enjoyed these leaf dress displays on the corners (see pics). It reminded me of the art displays large cities often have were there'll be a painted animal (cow, fish, horse, etc.) on various corners. Trilith is a good location if you're looking to burn some time and take in a meal while doing it. I've never been to any of the special events in the area, but have heard good things.

The popcorn tasted like cardboard and the cokes were flat. Don't expect a giant screen like a high end movie theater but it was still plenty big enough. With all of that being said this place has an endearing quality. It has a box office out front that gives you actual tickets which is super nostalgic. I assume one of the owners was the one selling tickets and she was super nice. The interior feels like it transports you back to days gone by. Lots of gold fixtures and nostalgic ceiling tiles. The seats while old were very cushiony and had an old timey feel. The projector and sound seem to be upgraded to digital. Unfortunately it was super hot in there and I wish the AC was colder. Overall I had a decent time and it's cool to have a theater in a small town. This theater is the same distance away from me as a multiplex. I'll probably just keep going to the newer theater.

The walk is not bad. They have kiosk to purchase tickets and have a member of the staff close by, if needed. Once entry, there is a full bar with high top tables and lounge couches, a nice area. Next to it, you have the regular concession stand foods and drinks. The restroom offers several stalls and it's clean. They had comfortable and spacious, and recliner seating.
