I'm not sure what theater some of these reviews are talking about, but the Morgantown 12 AMC is…read morewonderful. The theater is clean, the restrooms are updated and good, and the temperature is just right unless you're someone used to 60 below AC at home. I live 23 miles away in a county that has no indoor theaters. I wouldn't drive that far if the theater was crummy. I'd wait for it to come on TV. The popcorn is fresh, the drinks are not watered down, and the personnel are friendly. I just wish this theater were closer to my home. I'd be here every week.

The saving grace for me was the luxurious seats that recline and heat up...I was so upset when I…read morefirst went in! We had 20 minutes before our movie started "Indiana Jones" and the lines were crazy with no guidance. The ticket guy should have just SOLD TICKETS...but he was getting food orders, making pop corn, etc and there was 2 other guys back there. I would have understood if he was alone but he wasn't. He should have just got the tickets sold... There was no organization at all. I could have just walked on into the theater. I know the seats are assigned, but you could always play dumb and move...people do it all the time!! I asked him to use my $5 rewards when I bought the 2 tickets for Tony and I but he said oh you have to use that on concessions only. I said okay give me a small popcorn and drink combo. He did but he charged me full price. It would have took longer for him to correct the mistake he made and it was already 12:03, 3 minutes late to my seat I am a AMC member and I am upset with the service here! Next time, Regal gets my money, but I gave you 3 stars instead of 1 due to the seats ONLY!!!!

There are very few remaining drive-in theaters so I suggest supporting them rather than putting them down because you have a chip on your shoulder. It is ABSOLUTELY nostalgic because it is "old school". To the person that griped about the SUV parked in the front row- the photo that you provided shows absolutely ZERO evidence of it restricting the view of the screen from where the photo was taken, KAREN! I go once or twice a year. I do not go to traditional theaters because i have a projector of my own and can purchase a new movie to view in the comfort of my own home. I go there for the experience. Take your happy a** to the Waterfront and pray to the lord that u aren't harmed in any way. I can only IMAGINE the kind of chaos that you created which blighted the experience for others nearby. Get a grip.

He got 2 hot dogs, fries, a fountain drink, and a not full large popcorn. I'm out $40 bucks and disgusted. Did I mention the 8 young men in the concession stand patting themselves on the back for how well they did on the BURNT 8 inch pizza they handed over to some sucker that paid $15 for it! Or the one cussing because he burned a funnel cake and had to start over? I'm hungry. I'm pissed. And I should have insisted on stopping at Sheetz for a hoagie that would have been made to order and affordable. Don't let drive in "nostalgia" get the better of you here. This place is nothing short of NASTY and over priced. To make things worse, the Golf Cart Gestapo decided my little Ford EcoSport was a full blown SUV, not the car the State calls it when I register it or the insurance company insured it as, or the dealership sold it to me as, and we were ORDERED to park in the BACK ROW with the oversized and full sized TRUCKS! The place wasn't even close to being full except for the big trucks in the last row that could all see over the broken down shed in the middle of the lot, which we needed to move twice to see over. I'll give it to the owner for giving my $20 admission fee back despite the Gestapo input. The $40 I lost on that disgusting crap they called food couldn't be recouped, but I can report them to the health department for what that concession stand was serving and how they were putting it together! To think, I was a huge supporter when this place was begging for help to stay open. So much for nostalgia. Especially when the price for a seat at the luxury cinema costs the same as here, (a perk of being a Senior Citizen), and you don't get accosted for sitting where you can SEE the movie, even if it's only one and not a double feature. I won't say don't waste your time, because I still love the drive in movie experience, I just won't be having that experience at Brownsville Drive In ever again. As for the Golf Cart Gestapo, your face was priceless when I got my money back, despite your racing down to talk to the owner before I could, and despite the "No Refund" sign in the window, and despite you barking I was getting nothing but kicked out. EDIT...By their own website photos, Actual SUVs are parked throughout the lot and NOT in the back row. Sad. All I wanted was a nice night out. Beware the Golf Cart Gestapo. What I failed to mention earlier was the number of times I said "We're moving, leave us alone. Shut up, leave us alone, we're moving". What a horrible experience!
