I am very pleased with this theater. I love the new seats that they offer with the reclining and reserving feature. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the point system that allows me to get discounts only one thing I don't like is the fact its a little dark. The bathrooms are large and clean. The new seats are very comfortable. So today i was at regal cinemas and i was at the front of the line, they called the next person so i went up i told them i had placed a mobile order for some food and drink. They then proceeded to push us too too far of the desk where mobile order pick up is and i still needed to buy tickets they then proceeded to say i had to get back in line in a line of 15+ people long ass line and said I had to wait. I genuinely think this is horrific design of the line. And then when i had finally gotten back up to the line, it took forever for him to bring up the ticket and they had an issue trying to scan my premium account and eventually 2-3 minutes later the manager came over and just gave me by free ticket by just not scanning it and charging for the one normal other ticket. Keep in mind got in the theater at 7:00 for a 6:50 showing didn't get sat in our seats until 7:30.. dear god regal. read more

This was not the premium theater experience the price suggests. Audio quality was poor, with constant whining noises from the electric recliner motors that were louder than parts of the movie. Dialogue was muffled, and the picture quality was noticeably fuzzy. The strong chemical smell from the seats was distracting the entire time, and the seating caused leg numbness even while sitting upright. Regal customer service acknowledged the problems but declined a refund because I did not leave the auditorium during the movie, offering only popcorn and a drink instead. The pricing here is absolutely outrageous. My friend and I went to see a 3D movie, I understand that because the movie is 3D there may be a slight up charge. But $21 for 1 ticket is absurd. Not to mention the insanely priced food and drinks. If I'm already paying $42 for 2 tickets, can we at least lower food prices. Moving on from the pricing this place is disgusting, when walking down the hall to our theater my friend and I noticed a horrible stench in the hall. The floor also seems it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. My final complaint is the amount of ads shown before the movie, our showtime was 8:00pm and the movie FINALLY started playing at 8:30pm. If i'm paying $42 I shouldn't have to watch ANY ads. I would not recommend this place to anyone, it's very unfortunate that this is the only theater in the area. read more

The movie ticket was 20+ dollars with a discount. The theatres were clean, the same can not be said for the hallways. The chairs were broken, my chair was stuck up and wouldn't adjust halfway through the movie. The staff was unable to help when I asked about the discount advertised and had to ask the manager, also had no function to use tap to pay. Their technology was lacking, I would expect a corporate chain to at least be able to accept payments that even small businesses accept. The movie was scheduled to start at 8pm, we didn't see anything but AD's for the first 30 minutes. This theatre is the only one in the area and it's a shame. This theater doesn't have "tap & pay" service! Kinda sucks that I traveled 20 miles with kids and couldn't use my payment method.

Regal Grand Central is a nice theater. Amazing reclining chairs, regal rewards program is great, digital kiosks, and App that allows u to avoid the lines. Lots of movies and many available times. My only opportunity for improvement might be better cleaning of restrooms or maybe an update would certainly be a good idea. The theater updates 7 years ago were fantastic, just need to do the rest now. read more

In the past I would have rated this theater 5. However now prices keep creeping up, its usually cold in the winter and the concession stand now switched to Pepsi. Guess no more overpriced popcorn and soda for me there. I'll pay that for a coke, but never a Pepsi. Recliner seats are very comfortable. read more

We went to watch Raya and the last dragon and the seats were sooo comfortable (personal recliners for everyone. They also did a fantastic job of keeping everything spotless! I think their pricing is spot on and it's the best theatre I've gone! Highly highly recommend and can't wait to come back for another flick read more

Theater is run of mill, for the prices they charge you would think better. I walk in to trash on seats, have had movies shut off before they're over (yes this actually happened) etc. management not the most professional as well. If you can go somewhere else I would say do so read more

My friend and I went to the movies last evening...Parkersburg, WV. We asked for the handicapped seats. We were told that they can't sell those seats until 10 minutes AFTER the movie starts. Excuse me...is this movie employee really discriminating against my friend and I??? I have had 8 back surgeries and I have a rare lung disease (LAM). My friend is blind in one eye and has several other health issues. We asked the movie theater employee if he really wants my friend to pop out her artificial eye? Went tonight to see the new minions movie. Was a good movie. But didn't enjoy seeing a couple a row down getting it on. Was going to report it but walked out and all the lights were off and no staff to be seen. Very disappointed and grossed out. read more

Ever since they updated and remodeled this theatre I rarely ever go anywhere else to see a movie! The reserved seating is also very convenient for people who do not want to show up 30 minutes before the movie starts! read more

After the major update the theatre did, They've really got their stuff together. The Seats are awesome compared to the old ones. This theatre is a little behind with the times in terms of interior upgrades across all Regal Cinemas but they are getting there. The movies are great, The sound and video quality is good as well. We planned our Mother's Day activities around a 3:00 pm viewing of Ugly Dolls as my mother, in a wheelchair, is unable to do much else. We drove 50 minutes one way, planning to eat after the movie. We arrived to find that they had decided not to show that movie in order to open another screen for Endgame. Plans totally ruined! Nice seats, just feel like you are really far from the screen. They also don't serve alcohol, must theatres are starting to serve alcohol.

I guess since this is the only movie theater in town, Regal seems to think it isn't necessary to keep its theaters up. My friend and I were there today and had to change seats four times before finding chairs that the springs weren't poking you. This same thing happened last couple times I was there. I just wonder how stinky and shabby things will have to get before they will update. And don't even get me started on the ridiculous prices for snacks ... Shameful. read more

Definitely a shame that this is the only option we have in the mid Ohio valley. Overpriced! WAY overpriced! Senior discount is $.50, wow! That will definitely make it more affordable on my social security income....NOT! How about some CHEAP matinees once a week? And with all the dough they are raking in, you would think they could make some improvements! My friends and I purchased tickets earlier in the day to the 10:10pm show. We left Parkersburg to go to homecoming and came back after. As we let the man check our tickets before entering, we got settled in our seats. 2 minutes into the movie, the manager came around and asked to see our tickets. We showed him and he asked us all to step out of the theater. He explained that we bought the 6pm show when we told the lady over the counter we wanted them at 10. We were then told we were not allowed back in. My friends and I understood the manager was just doing his job, however we went through 2 cinema workers that didn't bother to double check the playing time on our tickets. read more

This place is in need of a Major renovation! New seats , carpet and wall coverings would be a great start. If you enjoy the smell of urine , this is the place to be . I would compare it to the smell of a really bad nursing home. New screens and a sound upgrade needs too . read more
