Went to see Michael with my dad and was excited. Overall the experience was good, friendly staff at the concession stand. There wasn't any air-conditioning at the beginning of the movie I figured that we just got there early and that when the movie started the AC would start playing unfortunately in theater seven there was no AC the whole duration. I wasn't moving at all and they just kept on getting hotter and hotter in the movie theater. My shirt was drenched and my pants were sticking to the seat and no the seat heater was not on. My recommendation is just to make sure that the AC is on. Overall, the movie was great. The staff was amazing. Just couldn't enjoy the movie as much because it was hot. read more

Would not recommend this theatre at all, the service was horrible. Me and my friends came here trying to have a good time but suddenly our guardian went to use the bathroom and was throwing up, but one of yalls workers (a white bald dude) came up to us before the movie got good and told us to leave and said that our guardian left the movie theatre even though she didnt. And screw the dude with the big beard, he's mean Also we got kicked out before that because my friend was bottle flipping a bottle in the restroom with no people in it, and it was on the sink counter which would mean no mess would be made. And the dude with the beard came in and screamed at us to get out over a little water bottle and was giving us mean looks when we came back. If I don't get a response back, I will be very disappointed and mad because as a 13 year old I shouldn't be treated like this over a water bottle that I didn't even flip. We have tested all sorts of theaters in the area and honestly, we've narrowed it down to this one to be our "go to" theater. There's one closer to us and they just crank up the volume so loud it's unbearable. I would much rather drive a couple miles out of my way to go to this location "Stone Hill". Going to places like Alamo is cool until you start getting into the movie and then you've got people walking in front of you. You know bringing drinks and stuff, that's just gets to be too much. We don't want all the bells or whistles. We just wanna watch a movie. We love this location because it's just exactly what we want. We just go in and get a huge icy, a small bag of popcorn. Sit down and watch a good movie without getting our ears blown out. Sometimes we joke about driving past this place, just to get a Cherry Icy. It's honestly one of our favorite parts of going to a movie haha. This place has never been like overcrowded or anything. I'm not saying it's impossible, but you know every time we've gone we have our choice of where we wanna sit and we like sitting up at the top at the very back so honestly, this place is great for us. The only downside is if you catch a late flick, they're closing down everything in the front after the movies get going, you're not gonna be able to re-up on anything halfway through the movie. read more

We just went and saw Jurassic world rebirth this past Saturday. We bought our tickets online and did the preorder for the snacks. The guys working there were super nice and got our order promptly. We get settled in to our seats. They aren't anything fancy over there but comfortable enough. The problem? It felt like there was no ac in the theater. Me and my husband were sweating because it was so hot. It wasn't until the last 20 minutes of the movie did we finally feel the air kick on. DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS FROM HERE. Purchased a gift card from this location a year ago and the recipient just got around to trying to use it this year. The staff at that theater (not this location) told her the gift card was not activated. Because it's over a year later, I can't even see the transaction anymore through my bank, so I reached out to Cinemark through their website and they told me I just need to call the location I purchased the gift card at and they should be able to activate it. Went in bought my tickets, I bought senior ones because I didnt know what a manitee was? The girl checking the tickets was so rude about it and I had to go and pay a fee to change the tickets. This has happened twice now where an employee was rude and stingy about a simple mistake I made. On the other hand the manager was super chill about everything he actually let us in the first time but we went back to get a snack when the girl got on shift. She didn't let us back in. We got a refund and still haven't received the money. We also ended up missing the beginning of our movie because they had us running around and were also arguing with us. They ruined our experience. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about this theater. We went on a Wednesday morning for a kids movie and it was perfectly fine. It's not a fancier Cinemark (normal seating, no dream loungers), but it was easy to get to, had plenty of parking, the customer service for snacks was actually speedy and the theater itself was not dirty like some other reviews have mentioned. Maybe it's because we were there earlier in the day (10am), but it was a perfectly normal movie theater experience. We decided to try something different since our normal theaters didn't have any good showing times or any good seating. This isn't really near our house, but it was in the direction of where we wanted to eat dinner that night. I was pleasant surprised at how clean and new it was. There was plenty of parking spaces on a Sunday Evening. The ticket booth is inside to the left so you don't have to wait outside if there is a line. The concession stand was also pretty slow as well, there was little to no wait. They have the typical theater snacks. The seats were pretty nice, they were leather and clean and new. The size of the theater was okay, we went to see Star Trek. There weren't that many people in our theater for being a recent movie release. I would say that it was pretty annoying the lights were on during the previews for a 3D movie because it made it very difficult to see with the glasses and the glare. Outdated. It's 2022 and this theater doesn't even have chairs that allow you to lean back let alone kick your feet up. Chair cushions are ripped and extremely uncomfortable. The butter dispenser is Behind the counter?? What theater doesn't let you butter your own popcorn...The concession dude wouldn't even butter it good when I asked plus bathrooms were dirty. I love going to the movie theatre. I love Cinemark. But the fact that this specific Cinemark has gotten away with their lack of good customer service, upkeep, and upgrades (seats, projectors, speakers, etc), makes me very weary about visiting again. The few times we've gone to this location, there has always been a negative experience. After about a year since we've last visited, our negative expectations were met yet again. The only reason why we chose this specific location is because it's only a mile away from our house and the movie we went to watch wasn't on our must watch list. The staff at the concession stand were less knowledgeable than usual. Our seats still had empty cups, popcorn buckets, and trash on/around them. Everything was sticky. The speakers/audio system sound like they belong in a small living room. The seats feel like they haven't been replaced for 20 years. Cinemark 20 and XD is an extra 15 minutes away, but definitely worth driving to rather than coming here. For the love of God, upgrade your speakers. The audio here is less than garbage. read more

I love coming to Cinemark on Tuesday's. They have a great half off rate. Plenty of parking at this location. It's in a shopping center so you can walk around and kill some some time before your movie. Or hit up a restaurant before going to the movies. For under $6.00 you can't go wrong. Staff has always been nice. I have the Cinemark app in my phone, so I earn points every time I make a purchase. Lobby is always clean when I've come to this location. Staff has been nice and helpful. Popcorn is fresh. They do have reserved seating. You can pick out your seats and know you have plenty of seats to sit together if you have a big party, or if it's just yourself. We rented out an entire theater for a personal viewing party since they have had great offers during this past year. It was $99, we were allowed up to 20 people and received big discounts on concessions. That's a HUGE BONUS for families!!! All of the kids were delighted that we allowed them to pick out drinks, popcorn & candy. Candy was buy one get one when we were there. Not sure if they're still running these specials. Theater was pretty deserted & the staff was very helpful. Everything looked clean and seemed to be wiped down often. I believe they wipe down every 30 mins. Seriously, this theater does not understand audio. This is the closest theater to my house and EVERY TIME I've been here, the sound is SO consistently low, it is infuriating! The management needs to take some time to sit in each theater and listen and realize they need to adjust their sound system, but mainly, TURN IT UP! Upon trying to make a decision on which theater to go to we were trying to locate information on the internet as to what kind of seats this particular theater had. Who wants to watch a 3 hour film in uncomfortable seats! I found some reviews on another website, but unless there are different seats in different auditoriums, we read misinformation. We attended a film in "Auditorium #6" and found the seats to be other than what we read on other reviews. NOTE: I have been to this theater twice within the past 4 years so I'm no expert of this theater. Also, there is the chance that other auditoriums have different seating?? not sure. Our experience with the Cinemark @ Stone Hill Town Center in Pflugerville included watching a 3 hour film in nicely padded seat with some spring to them, hard plastic and room for one arm armrests and decent leg room. I was hoping to enjoy a lengthy film in the deluxe recliner style seats, but was very disappointed and uncomfortable. I made sure to take a couple pictures of the particular seating as that was what I was looking for before choosing a theater and couldn't really find accurate photos on the internet. The theater was pretty clean except for the trash the disrespectful people next to us just decided to leave behind instead of disposing of it like a courteous theater goes should! Restrooms were clean, sound was good, screen a nice size, seats okay, but personally I like the "deluxe" theater seating with a foot rest which this particular auditorium did not have. I took my family to the movies today to watch Jurassic World: Dominion. I got in line to buy a drink and held up my Cinemark club QR code. The cashier rolled her eyes at me and asked, "Are you gonna buy anything?" I told her I was buying a drink. She said, "Yeah usually that comes after." Then, my total was $4.63. I gave her a five dollar bill and 63 cents. Instead of giving me a dollar, as I obviously wanted, she gave me my 63 cents back and 37 cents change. She got another cashier to explain what she did to me, and I tried futilely to explain that $5.63 minus $4.63 equals 1 dollar. I know millennials are terrible at math, but this is ridiculous! She told the other cashier, "I gave her the change she gave me back. I didn't need it anyway." I told a manager, but I am sure nothing will be done. With so many businesses short-staffed, I know it is useless to complain and expect nothing in terms of customer service. But, this was worse than nothing. The cashier was deliberately rude to me. What are the consequences for such poor customer service? I hope there are some. If a person hates people so much, they should not have a job working with the public. read more
