    Welcome to the Adventure Park

Like the rest of Kalahari, this Adventure Park Arcade is on steroids. So much input. To get to the indoor water park, you must walk through the adventure park. Although we didn't play, it was such a visual rush walking through the arcade. Most interesting claw machine? The human claw machine where a small kid was strapped in, lowered down and then had to try to grab a large inflatable prize with their little hands. Most looked like they were having fun as they cling tightly to their prizes. A very unique concept.

Thing Two came to this location the first weekend of the New Year to attend a birthday party. The party was for one of her pre-teen friends and was held from 11 AM to 6 PM. The party included indoor/outdoor waterpark admission, a jumbo slice of pizza & a soda, and unlimited access to most attractions in Tom Foolerys Adventure Park The party hosts also purchased a cabana for the children to place their things while they ran around the waterpark and arcade area. When party goers entered the indoor waterpark, they did so via turnstyle and with the use of a scannable armband. While this method for entry keeps those who did not pay for waterpark entry out of the waterpark, this is problematic for parents like myself who were not allowed access to the waterpark to retrieve their children. My particular issue with this is that in the event there is an emergency or if a parent or guardian needs to retrieve their child from the waterpark and they are not able to reach the party host(s) via cellphone or their child, the park has no contingency plan on how to reach the child. Aside from this obvious issue, Thind Two and her friends seemed to have an enjoyable experience on the rides, playing and games, and at th waterpark. Estimated Price for the birthday party for 10 children $1,250 *not including Cabana rental and game cards per party goer.

The claw games were not set for payout even after several plays. The rides are more kid friendly. The 3D games were the best, both of them. Lazer tag was a different pace. I didn't go to the water park

We added on the $299 food and fuel package to our stay. I thought it was a deal, since we're going to eat at the resort and buy arcade points anyway. The package comes with 4 passes to Tom's foolery, a $100 dining credit (in the form on a Kalahari gift card), and a $100 arcade card. I had them split the $100 arcade card into 2, so each kiddo got $50. Staff was a bit short, which caused a bit of wait to do some of the rides. Most had one person covering 2-3 rides. On the last two days the 5d movie theater wasn't operational, which was a bit annoying. They also shut down rock climbing at around 7pm. Crowds were VERY light. We didn't try the new human claw ride, although we enjoyed watching others. It's pretty unlikely that no one gets a prize. We just didn't see the value in paying $30 for an inflatable alien.

The kids loved it! They got to run around throughout the arcade/theme park for hours! They were well entertained! Better to get the passes for them since they get to the attractions as much as they want. The arcade game were ok. One issue was a game that wanted a pay to continue for the end of the level which is not right. The claw machines do have a decent chance of getting a prize and that good. Overall it was a good time for the kids and that's what matters though definitely in the pricier side for a theme park. There's is plenty of parking here and the facilities are well kept.

Wow! From children to adults there is something for everybody to do here and you could probably spend the entire day and still not do everything. Even when it's crowded it's big enough that you don't feel too packed in. They do a good job keeping the place clean and everything functional. We didn't do the waterpark but our next visit that's on the to do list, like the arcade it's massive and looks like a blast. I always call these places a casino for kids because once they get started if you walk out without spending a few hundred dollars you've done a great job as a a parent :). Aside from being a great place to spend the day with the family my favorite part is they have a fall restaurant and bar so you can get some good food and drinks (adult fun) while the kids are entertained.

The staff were so attentive. I saw many cleaning arcade games after use and fixing malfunctions promptly. The energy of this place is great and I loved the contrast between the lights and attractions with the almost calm instrumental music playing in the background. Ride attendants were polite and competent. My kids loved the dipping dots. The gender neutral bathrooms were very progressive and appreciative. My husband assisted with the mechanical piping and plumbing work for this establishment and I remember driving out to the job site when it was all trailers, concrete barriers, and gravel and to see it completed is amazing.

This place is like a dnb but upgraded with rides and a lot more stuff to do. They have an eatery in the front side. Read the site so you know what your kids can and cannot do. A lot of fun for all ages so every one can have their fun. But great place to come with your family. They also have an indoor pool too single ticket military and kids so you can have fun all day. The customer service was great and was easily helped out by many workers

We went to Tom Foolery for a birthday party and played the "cut-the-rope" game. In previous visits, we watched many players cut the string once and receive the prize. When we gave it a shot, we cut the string FOUR times and it was still hanging by a thread. Upon talking to management they were very dismissive and brushed us off :/ Sad to leave without the luigi plush! :(

We planned to sit inside but my word, inside was disgusting, so loud, and full of unsupervised young kids. We ended up sitting outside, no one said a word to us, not a word. We figured out how to scan the menu and order. Food came and the queso was more like beer queso you want for pretzels it was not recuedros queso just for those going for that. Kids meal was $10, came with fries and 2 chicken tenders, they were thin one of our girls wouldn't eat them, no drink that we know of as no one helps us. The tacos were packed in a tin and were so greasy it ruined the other tortillas. My carne guisada was huge chunks of pure fat. We left after spending $100, tipped 15% because I couldn't bring myself to do less but other than someone running the food to us the did nothing. We did self serve water and the flies were so bad (as to be expected outside) we had to just throw away stuff as we were "done" with it so nothing for them to even clean up. We left disappointed and hungry. I truly do not understand where the 4-5 stars are coming from. Service was non existent, atmosphere was run down and dirty, food was sub par at best. Two stars only because of I was in my mid 20's and looking for a place to watch a UT game it was totally my vibe. But other than the Vision it is a 0-1 star for me. Ugh I'm so sorry :( maybe we just had a bad experience.

We opted for a package that included an hour of bowling, food & drinks for the kids, and a $10 arcade game gift card per child. This package was pretty affordable at $18 per child. They have add one such as goody bags and food/drink options for adults. We added a couple food platters for adults and the goody bags. Pros: - Affordable and convenient - low stress - kids had an absolute blast Cons: - Overall service was very average and slow. Inexperienced party host staff. - Room wasn't set up / ready until bowling was nearly done. - Upon arriving at the venue we learned that they didn't have goody bags available that day. This was disappointing because I would've expected a heads up at least one day in advance so that we can make other arrangements. They did provide an extra $10 on each child's game card to make up for it, which was nice.

Then several hours later we were notified that our party needed to be pushed back to 2:30pm because of a buyout, ok sure. Main Event coordinator apologized and offered items to make up for the mistake and booking issue. Then I noticed on the contact a 12% service fee ($46 and some change), I asked the event coordinator and she explained that the 12% goes to the event host/server. This was not the case it was a 12% booking fee that goes to the front office staff. WOW! 12% to book online?!?! Seriously?! The server was the one who explained it to me. When I asked the manager on duty she gave me attitude and basically said "you signed the contract so you have to pay it". The day of the party it didn't seem like everyone was on the same page, our host/server did the best he could and apologized several times but it was out of his hands. The pizza came out late and the wings arrived 40 minutes after the pizza. The pizza was not hot and the wing platter turned out to be wings, tenders and nuggets. We ate the wings and tried to return the tenders and nuggets but no manager came to the table. We took care of the host/server with cash tip but we definitely don't recommend this place for birthday parties or gatherings.

So, the 3 stars is for the activities experience and not the allergen food experience. If I did rate the food experience, it would have been negative stars, but because I don't expect Austin's to fix it, I am not factoring that into the rating I am giving them. But, I want to write the review to let other gluten free patrons know not to expect any precautions to be taken when preparing the GF pizza. My daughter is 17 and asked for the GF pizza and asked if the cook could change their gloves. The lady said no and she also told my daughter it didn't matter anyway because they would not use foil under the pizza or a clean slicer. So the pizza may as well have been a regular one with that much cross-contamination. The other reviews I saw on yelp about the GF experience made us hopeful that Austin's actually tried. But, that's not the case at all. I have always told my daughter that celiac disease is her cross to bear and not to expect others to cater to her needs. It's always very refreshing to find restaurants that are 100% GF or that take precautions because we know how special that is, but for those that don't, we can't fault them for it because it's not anyone's duty to care for her but us. So, those are places we just don't go to. So, activities are 3 stars, they are average. And food, I did not rate. Those with celiac, eat before you go is my advice. They have huge signs outside that outside food and drink are not allowed. I don't know if they would allow anything to be taken in for those with allergies. It wasn't worth it for us to ask. I'm picky and I can't think of something to complain about here. The rides are always a hit with the kids. Mine will spend 8 or 9 hours there - happily. My husband joked that it should be a place for summer camps. 4 of our group didn't want the buffet and got burgers and taquitos from the restaurant. my husband is quite the food snob and said that the burger was awesome and gave me a bite. I agreed. The bacon was like a thick cut slab of pork belly. If I didn't enjoy the salad bar so much I would definitely get the burger, but I can have the best of both worlds and eat some of his next time. Their inside arcade has so many options and the games all work. I'm just so grateful that this place exists. Austin's management - you're doing an incredible job. We are fans!
