The casino has improved a lot over the years. They added a hotel, and they brought the poker room back, which I appreciated. It's running 7 tables, mostly 1/2 and 1/3. Nice touch: even though the casino is 21+, they let 18+ players into the poker room. You just get wrist-banded at security and you're good to go. Great way for younger players to get some real table time. Most dealers were great, but a few who were still learning and a few who commented on player tendencies and play styles to openly during the game, but it's an improvement from their previous set up years ago. The gaming floor is big, the staff is friendly across the board, and the pool is average. Not bad, not amazing, just fine. What pushes this over the top is the family factor. I can take the kids to Kids Quest, or head to the Apex Lounge for bowling and go-karts. We even celebrated a birthday here and it was a great time. Being able to handle gaming for me and real fun for the kids under one roof is what makes it a 5-star trip. Highly recommend.

Sometimes they win, most times they donate to the electricity bills but their smiles when playing those slot machines are priceless.... Red Hawk has a descent amount of slot machines, tables and a high limit room if you got them thick pockets or a sugar sugar mama or papa! Wink wink. Red Hawk has a few eateries if you get hungry - and like most casinos they have a lobster and crab buffet night on Fridays at Kyoto which are a busy evening. Make sure you get your rsvp's in cuz they get busy! We've eaten at Pearl downstairs and didn't really care for it. To each their own - separate review. All in all, it's not a bad place to visit to test your luck for a few hours of entertainment and take the elders...it's worth it to see them smile, laugh and enjoy themselves when they hit an occasional bonus. Our kiddos like the French dip and sushi rolls from the high limit room when we've ordered to go. The prices on those babies are high limit too! LOL

As someone who loves performing AND perfecting, I wasn't overwhelmed while taking direction. The front desk gals were always so pleasant and helpful! This really gave me the inspiration I needed to continue my dreams and aspirations. I looked forward to each class. I also keep in touch in my cohort and we continue to encourage each other! It was great to see all of the photos and success of previous students plastered on the wall! Yes! I love the full breakdown Cody gave us regarding "moving to LA" I was mind blown and completely changed my perspective on Acting and how I should pursue it! I cannot wait to take the commercial course this month and continue my ongoing acting classes! Tip: 1. Go in ready to learn and absorb everything. Take notes, EVERY session. The works range from jewelry, glass, wood work, ceramics, photography, sculpture, and paintings. Surprisingly the original art work was not outlandishly priced. Plus they have small originals, prints in smaller frame sizes to postcard size that are more affordable priced. My favorite works were Jack Nissen's wood bowls and painters Carol Quinn, Barbie Smith, and Valerie Bye. To me, their art echoes the beauty of our local landscape. I easily connected with that. I bopped in when Michael and Natalie were staffing the shop. Micheal had a bright, enthusiastic attitude. He warmly greeted everyone that walked. He had a great rapport with customers. No snobby pretentiousness. Besides the art another work in the building. The building itself is a beaut. It too has a rich history going back to 1850. You can read about it on a poster near the front door.

It's super spacious, bright, and thoughtfully laid out. They have an art gallery area, a section dedicated to displaying skulls, and even a break room space for everyone. I also loved how easy their website made the booking process. Being able to see each artist's work, pricing, and availability all in one place made it really convenient to plan and schedule time off. I was looking to finish my half sleeve and came across Christian Gonzalez's work on their site. I was immediately impressed and knew I had to book with him. I texted the number listed on the website and connected with Mackenzie, who was incredibly responsive, friendly, and quick to answer all my questions. She made the process really smooth, and I was able to secure an appointment about two weeks out! When I arrived, the whole staff was welcoming and friendly. Christian was professional, easy to talk to, and really took the time to understand my inspiration. He worked with me to design something that would flow well with a previous tattoo I already had, doing his best to blend everything together so it looked cohesive. He made sure I liked the design, adjusted details with me, and carefully worked on placement before we started. I got there right when they opened, and after discussing the design and him drawing everything out, we started around noon and wrapped up around 6pm. It's definitely a full day session, so bring snacks and maybe a zip up because it gets a little cold in there! Christian was incredibly gentle with the tattoo and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable or needed a break. He charges $1300 for a full day and in my opinion he is absolutely worth it!! I felt comfortable the entire time and I'm in love with how the tattoo turned out. I'll definitely be coming back to finish my sleeve and for any future work. If you're thinking about getting tattooed at The Skull Museum, JUST DO IT! and definitely check out Christian! Thanks again!!!
