We had a minor interior issue associated with a roof leak. The insurance company sent out a technician named Josh to assess the damage and apply a tarp to the damaged area. He seemed really irritable upon arrival for some reason and absolutely reeked of marijuana. He then came to tell me that he did not have a ladder capable of reaching the roof because some other guys took his. So I had to give him my ladder. He did the tarp and returned my ladder. He then apologized for his demeanor and filled me in on some personal issues he was having at the time. Which I understand, but at the same time is no excuse. If I behaved that way at my job I wouldn't have one. The overwhelming odor of marijuana was just baffling to me. So then he left and the tarp blew off two days later. We called our insurance company and told them we would be using someone else and went with a different company. My mother in law didn't want to say anything because she's too nice of a woman, but the tarp blowing off was the straw that broke the camels back. I attempted to call in and speak to the owner and I was informed that the owner does not speak to customers. So that tells you how much he cares about you or your home. There are plenty of other reliable companies along the gulf coast. Utilize one of them instead. read more

I had mold and mildew in my Florida Condominium. My Insurance Company put me in touch with Cinergy Restoration in Sunrise FL. The entire staff of Cinergy Restoration that I came into contact with could not have been more professional, courteous, or helpful. Malcolm in the office was always available for all of my questions and concerns. Brandon the technician was extremely professional, helpful and efficient. His supervisor John was also helpful and easy to work with. Mike the Project Manager could not have been more helpful or any kinder to me in regard to all of my questions and concerns. Gwendolyn in the Finance Office was very efficient. I would certainly recommend Cinergy Restoration to anyone who needed their services. read more

My insurance company arranged for Cinergy Restoration to put a tarp on my hurricane damaged roof which they charged $3,752.80. On Oct 8th, they arrived and proceeded to put a few tarps on my roof. They claimed they did not need to do the whole roof as there was not damage on all of it. I questioned the poor quality of tarp they were using and they stated that due to the hurricane they were unable to get heavy duty tarps. After they said they had completed the job, I signed off on the work and expected they had done a good job on the roof. It would have been unwise for a 64 year old man to get up on the roof to confirm their work. Less then a month later, a storm system arrived and the winds were directly from the west. I noticed that my tarp was ripped away from the roof and flapping in the wind and shredding. I called Cinergy Restoration to come out and fix it, but they refused, unless my insurance company approved another tarping expense. Since it was raining, I ended up going up on the roof to prevent further water damage to my house and discovered they had neglected to staple down the entire west side of the house. I nailed down NEW tarps which I provided. While I was up there, I found they also did not cover all the exposed parts of the roof that was damaged. Due to their shoddy installation and product, I asked for a refund of the cost to have them cover my roof but they are not responding at all. They have been reported to the BBB. I feel this company took advantage of the hurricane situation, furnishing tarps that were not meant for this job and then not even securing the tarps to the roof as needed. The price they charged was outrageous and they would not stand behind their contract that clearly stated that if there was any problem we should contact them and they would stand behind their work. Absolutely horrible company . My insurance adjuster arranged for Cinergy restoration to complete the demolition and repair my flooring and it has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. They are an incompetent as a company and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . They have had my house in disarray since April 2024 and it is now September 2024. They have pulled all types of scams by buying laminated flooring instead of the engineered flooring . They have hired several independent contractors to complete the demolition and removal of the initial flooring that was in my floor once before . The process of removal of the initial flooring was supposed to be in the following order : removal of the glue of initial flooring by using an adhesive solvent remover , sanding of the flooring , priming of the flooring and lastly , apply the skincoat. Instead , the contractors that they hired removed the glue of the initial flooring and applied the skincoat . As a result of this , the skincoat has completely cracked all throughout my house and I was also informed by the flooring specialist that the flooring underneath the skincoat is still wet and that is why the skincoat is cracking underneath ! It is absolutely ridiculous and I am sick of the mistreatment and incompetence and unprofessionalism . I would also like to add on that the unprofessionalism of showing up to my house unannounced on several occasions after I have informed them several times to call me before they arrive at my home . However , they still fall short in the communication area and fail to call me before arrival of my home. PETER LEMUS (Project Manager) and his ENTIRE team exceeded all expectations. Everyone that worked at my house ( Rungny and his team) were respectful, careful, trustworthy and professional. In addition, the team worked with tremendous attention to detail. They brought a positive attitude daily which really helped with the difficult situation the customer is experiencing. Very satisfied with my bathroom shower restoration. The entire staff at Cinergy was helpful and professional during the process. A leaking shower pan caused water damage in the ceiling above my garage and my insurance co. then referred me to Cinergy Restoration. Alexis was very nice and reassuring when I called the main office. I was then visited by the owner Alex, and I felt very comfortable with his no pressure approach . The project manager, Juan contacted me right away and came out that day and diagnosied the problem immediately. The restoration was completed in a timely manner and Juan was always available when I had a question or concern. Outstanding mold remediation company and contractors. I had a leak that caused water dmage and mold and was frantic to find a reliable company to remediate the mold and have my kitchen redone. The first company I hired was Moodys Plumbing to stop the leak(horrible), and they referred me to United Water Restoration - even worse. Since it was an emergency I had no option but to sign paperwork for them to get paid by my insurance co and they ripped me off for 2,628.24 for 3 days work. I fired them for unprofessionalism and they did not get any work done. I had about 6 other companies come and one by one they tried to rip me off and say that I would have to leave my home for at least a month. 2 dogs and me - where to go. Just when I was giving up I contacted South FLorida Mold Solutions. The instant they walked in without trying to presure me to sign anything and assured the work would be done swiftly and professionaly I hired them. This was the best decision I ever made when hiring a professional company. Juan Ayala the lead contractor and mold remediation expert came in and totally worked tirelessly to get this job done in weeks - not months. He resolved the mold issue and the kitchen was done beyond my expectations. His assistants that he needed on occassion worked with him effortlessly. He is outstanding and a true pro. Alex the owner of the company would stop by from time to time to check that everything was up to par. Thats reassuring. Its hard being a single vulnerable woman dealing with all of this but this experience turned my nightmare into a dream kitchen. Many of the other companies tried to take advantage of me - not this company. Don't waste your time with other losers - I did my homework.
