I've been dealing with mold on my ceiling and walls due to an ongoing issue with my AC or potentially my upstairs neighbor's AC. The maintenance team only came to fix the leak, which was helpful in preventing further water damage, but they completely ignored the mold issue. My AC still smells wet, and the room where the mold is growing has become unbearable to enter, especially since I have allergies to mold. It's incredibly frustrating that they didn't address the mold directly, which is a health hazard. I'm stuck in a situation where my air feels damp and unhealthy, and the mold is only getting worse. Maintenance needs to take this seriously and resolve the issue, not just put a band-aid on it by fixing the leak. If I could give 0 stars I would. There are so many things wrong with this place. The first thing the front office told me and my roommate when we walked into the leasing office to tour the units was that they were going to fix the potholes because they were a serious problem. Fast forward 8 months and they haven't fixed or even begun to fix a single one. The bottom step of our staircase was busted to the point of almost completely falling off and it took them 6 months to fix it. They didn't provide us with fire extinguishers. The carpet was still soaking wet on the day of move in. When the ac busted and it was 95 degrees in my apartment at 11:30 at night, it took them almost 3 days to fix it. They have charged us every single month for pest control and I've never seen them spray inside or outside. Apparently you have to call the front office to be put on a list to have your apartment sprayed but they never answer the phone. There's an ambulance somewhere on the property at all times. Kids go car hopping at night so make sure you lock your doors. And on multiple occasions, you can hear the sound of a gun going off on the property. And was set at 72 degrees, there should have been no problem with the AC unit shutting down since it is a brand new unit! You guys never respond to the "emergency" line. THE SAME DAY I GOT A NEW REFRIGERATOR i called and told office management to put me on the list to have my house sprayed for pest control... ya know since i do have to pay for it every month even if they don't come spray. i have yet to get pest control to spray, and i've been asking for the last 2 months! during the freeze of 2021 no one attempted to put anything on concrete to prevent injuries, as they do not care about their tenants. my building was the ONLY building left without power and when i finally was able to call the office about it they told me it was my responsibility to call center point to make an order to have their workers fix a "down power line" and have them come turn the ENTIRE buildings power back on! when i asked my office if they would call, they said it is not in their job description to call for center point. and to top it all off... if you expect to have a hot shower or even running water LOOK ELSEWHERE, because we repeatedly have water shut off due to "a pipe burst" or "a problem with the sprinkler system". i've lived here for 7 months and i can count on ONE hand the amount of times i've had a HOT shower... RIDICULOUS!!! i have had multiple issues with parking, hardly ever have i been able to park even remotely close to my building. with having to park my car father away i'm not in view of seeing it and my vehicle has been hit more than 3 times. now for the last two weeks i've had a problem with my sinks (bathroom AND kitchen) not draining, my toilet not flushing and continuously overflowing, and my tub not wanting to drain either, i contacted my office management and let them know about the problem and requested that i were to be called before any maintenance person entered as i work nights and sleep during the day, and also let my dogs roam about my apartment. the lady i talked to told me that since i've requested these specific instructions that my work order would be pushed back, and could possibly be taken care of in a lengthy amount of time from now as they have "back orders" on other maintenance tickets... (just yesterday July 24th 2021, i was able to call my office I CALLED THEM 18 TIMES!! and no one answered. i decided to go to the office in person and the office lady had the nerve to tell me i was a liar, and that my bathroom works just fine) later i found out that whoever i spoke to on the phone on Wednesday July 21st 2021 at 10:59 am that they did not put in a maintenance ticket for my bathroom to be fixed! only when i threatened to call the health department did someone from the office offer maintenance to come look at the issue, and even then it took them over an hour to even knock on my door to come in. moral of the story... save your money!! unless you like overpriced one bedroom boxes with roaches! and not to mention the amount of suspicious activity... multiple gun shots, loud music, and fighting in the parking lot. the guy on the bottom floor of my building constantly has people pulling guns on him, and even had someone break into his apartment and break his sliding glass door that goes to his patio. nowhere on my lease did it say i was moving into a gun range and insect farm at the same time! do better Circle at Point Park... that's all i have to say, it's such a shame! read more

There are 900 units and only 1 pool is working! Condoms in pool so nasty you wipe instead of towling off. This one star is too generous! As a vendor (REALTOR/Apartment Locator) who sends clients to this establishment you'd think they would be more cordial, but they obviously do not care. I helped my client (a good friend of mine) get moved in here on 04/20/18 I have called numerous times to the office only to be told that Anna (the manager) was unavailable, out of the office, or in a meeting and that she would call me back, that never happened. I've emailed no less than 5 times without even a reply acknowledging it was received. I'm currently sitting in the lobby, I got here at 10 am and was told that she is in a meeting and that she'd be done in an hour, at 10:40 another front desk attendant spoke with me and told me she would be in the meeting for another hour and a half. This manager (Anna) did not have the courtesy to step out to clarify anything. Her front desk attendant comes to tell me call corporate that it is all complete on their end. As a vendor who sends business to the residential complex I'd advise others to search elsewhere. If they act with such negligence to those giving them business how do you think they will treat your clients. It's nearly 3 months since they have been invoiced and I can't even get an explanation, yet if a resident does not pay their rent they'd be quick to evict them.......... Just as I finished typing this I was able to meet with the manager (who I acknowledged as Oz) who tells me she's new to the location & that she cleaning up the mess from the previous manager.She acknowledges that she has seen the email and call back requests and have been too busy to respond. She then goes on to say that she has open invoices to Locators as far back as November!!!! As the conversation continues she says that the corporate accounting office doesn't even answer her phone calls and that she really has no answer which means the very top of this company does not have its ____ together. (Trying to keep this brief) but had gotten a 2bed 2 bath (not a new model) said will be ready by move in (btw spoke to either her name was Linda or Lydia) end of July 2021 2 days before move in she calls and says the apartment wouldn't be ready, I advised I have no where else to go unless they have another unit, I mean the process is already complicated plus I was approved at least a month ahead! So she says it's okay we'll have it ready, okay? So she shows me unit through FT but flies through the apartment, okay move in day she takes forever giving me the keys because they "don't have them"she leaves and is gone for about 20min, the talk was all over the place like she didn't know what she was doing, little does she know I have someone outside in the car waiting, they said she left and and came back and was going back and forth with a maintenance guy. 5min later they appear with keys. So I suppose she went to the apartment, we pull up to the apartment building, and it's one of the worst buildings there! I tried to look pass the unit below mines that was covered with things, and dirt like no one hasn't touched it in years, (creepy looking) then the unit across from that one had a broken window with card board, so I walk in with my plants from the long drive, mean while I have like 12 plants so I'm walking in/out of the apartment BUT not actually paying to much attention just dropping in the front room, but looks lovely from the peak views, I finally take a walk through from bringing in some green life and was so disturbed and disgusted. They bombed (roach infested) the place before we moved in and didn't clean it up. After looking at another unit in the front building 8 I believe it had mold and roaches and water damage also holes in wall, she didn't walk through the apartment stood by the door to fix her broken heel,(karma) no more explaining, but this was a blessing in disguise. 2 bombings later, and the roaches are still thriving, carpet disguises them. If I would give it zero stars I'll do it a million times, this place is the worst I've ever been. Don't believe the specials they have. I had an "special" $779 a month one bedroom one bath with $10 fee and $20 valet trash included Water and gas apart. We ended up paying $860 dollars because they charge you for too many things that you would not remember they talked about. The bills are not steady, one month is one thing and the other month can be higher. Also you don't pay your own water, you split the water Bill with your neighbors!!! When I first went to those apartments I meet rose martinez I told her I needed an apt on the first floor because I have a baby, she said it was all right and we did the paper work also she gave an special that they had going on that day, but at the moment I went to see the apt it was ON THE THIRD FLOOR I told her to change it and she did but there was no apt available on the first floor, once again me and my husband accepted, we got an apt on the second floor, when we went to see the apt there was a cockroach( gods sign) but we let it go because they supposed to call pest control. Two months later somebody broke our windows car, I did a police report and the police told me that they got most of the call from those apts, I got worried about what he told me. BOOM! On the afternoon that same day there was a dead person by a trash bin near my apt. At night you could hear people outside fighting!!! Three months later we had the apartment full of cockroaches, we call the apt office to send pest control and they did but it got worse!! Four months later that happened we had new neighbors, but guess what??? They were selling drugs and smoking Marihuana all the time, every time we arrived to the apt felt that if we were smoking it because it will filter from the restroom!! Several times there was people with guns and also they'd been attacked from other drug seller and I have seen all of that. Almost every night the police has to go and inspect the parking lots because there are suspicious cars or somebody called them because they got robbed. IF YOU ARE A PARENT PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS APTS THEY ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS! So far I have seen three dead people there! I had to move out one month before our lease ends because it was too much. Older complex that is not well maintained. E.g. repairs of broken concrete in the parking lots are done but potholes will be around for months, if not years, before being repaired, and there remain areas where puddles remain for days after any substantial rain. Getting service requests handled is not straight-forward. Sometime they are closed with nobody having shown up, sometimes they try to blame user error, e.g. claiming that the problem with the AC being unable to hold the temperature below 80F is because the filter needs to be replaced when they did so as their answer a week prior. Even problems that have fire risks, like heavy lint build-up in the dryer duct, will get this treatment. We also had an issue with move-in where the leasing office directly lied to us both the day before and the day of our move-in date. I had called to confirm that the apartment was ready the day before and when we arrived in the morning of the day of it was reiterated that the apartment was all set, only to be told otherwise once we had finished signing the lease and asked for the keys; we were then told it likely wouldn't be ready until the next day. We finally got the keys about 5 P.M. Also be aware that the e-mail confirming your electronic rent payment is not actually confirming that it was successful but only that they made the draft request. Even having that scheduled several days before the first of the month if there is a problem that prevents the payment from completing the first notice you get may well be the warning taped to your door that they are going to change your locks. read more

I came to the Circle, I can tell by the aesthetic that they weren't quality apartments but for the price, you get what you pay for. I couldn't see my actual unit I was going to be moving into until a week before I was supposed to be out of my other place. when I finally saw the unit, I was not impressed at all, but, I thought it was all I could afford. I foolishly signed the lease and when I was moving in and inspecting the apartment, I started crying, because I saw a big hole in the washroom where the RATS chewed through the wall to get into the unit; upon further investigation, there was a massive pile of rat poop behind the stove. I froze in disbelief and fright. I couldn't even think anymore. I left out the apartment and saw a neighbor and asked if she has a problem with rats. she said YES! almost as if she was waiting to talk about it. She told me some horror stories, such as one day she came home to find two big rats in her bathroom!!! I started crying again in front of the lady. I couldn't do it, I was prepared to break my lease if I had to. I went into the office and was crying so much I couldn't even get the words out. I finally explained the situation and they agreed to let me out of my lease. However, that wasn't the end of the nightmare. It took 3 months and a lot of run arounds to get my money refunded. The leasing staff was extremely unhelpful and uncaring and just kept lying to me to get me off the phone or out of their office. everytime I would go to the office, there would be a line of upset people complaining and looking mad. the phone would be ringing off the hook and no one was answering, but you could hear the staff in the back office laughing and listening to music. I found this apartment back in January due to relocating my job. When I first moved in I had a problem of roaches. I was able to get my apartment what appeared to be roach free. The water will only stay hot for 5-10 minutes at the max and from there it'll get freezing cold. What brought me here was my experience today, I just came from out of town and on my door there is a letter to vacate for non payment of rent. I have been out of town for a whole week and the "assistant manager " Jessica was completely rude, she is not professional as well as lacks proper customer service skills. She made up a statement that was completely false and then turned around and stated that she didn't make that statement. Which really angered me. One of the office representatives came and closed the door because both Jessica and I were screaming back and forth at each other. During the conversation she rolled her eyes shrugged her shoulders and have a very VISIBLE attitude when doing what was told to her by the property manager. I've never felt so embarrassed and belittled by someone in my life. I'm sorry but that is NO way to interact with someone who constantly pays YOU rent to stay in these apartments. This is the worst place ever. I had a mold issue and every time I would submit a work order they would only come wipe the mold off, a few weeks later the mold returned. I went into the office and they tried to say my work orders said do not enter but i have proof. The manager would not come out to speak with me which. I had to get a health inspector involved and i also filed a complaint with the fair housing. There is a infestation of roaches. Absolutely terrible apartments. Floor foundation is crumbling underneath the carpet. I put in several work orders for them to say we can't fix that. I reported them to the Houston Apartment Association so they had someone redo the carpet which had already been redone prior to me moving in and that wasn't the issue it was the foundation. I can't even walk around my own house barefoot because I would easily stub my toe. You pay $5/ month for pest control and it doesn't work I've fogged, sprayed, used traps, cleaned everything out thoroughly multiple times to have an army of roaches still thriving. One of the main issues is no screen door for patio and no screen for window (attempted to give me a screen that did not fit my window it fell off) also the large gap between the door and the bottom of the door that you can see through to your neighbors door was also an issue with bugs coming in and no solution for that either. I had to buy my own door draft stopper and install myself. My oven door came off one hinge submitted a work order for that they came and attempted to fix it by ripping it off the other hinge so now it's completely off. They couldn't fix it and said they would be back that was a week ago now. Also my faucet head cane off and maintenance installed the temperature change handle side ways so for cold I had to turn it backwards for hot I had to turn it forward. The kitchen and bathroom floors needed to be replaced but due to the poor foundation the poor contractor was forced to rig it up by putting down plywood first so it could be leveled then place laminate down. They also painted the bath tub with wall paint. The day I moved in I did a move in clean and the paint basically peeled off like snake skin. They did however have a contractor come and resurface the tub the correct way with the proper tub paint. I also still have not received a key for the amenities I pay for every time I ask it's oh the gyms closed due to Covid but I sit and look at the gym being used everyday. It advertised as newly renovated and that is so far from the truth. Also I have a drawer in my kitchen that's a faux drawer which I asked could someone come and install it back I got blank stares. The top baseboards and bottom baseboards were not installed in the bed room or closets making it look like an unfinished unit. Also they scheduled a repair of the stairs after I reported that it seemed unstable in a work order 7 months ago. Me and my neighbors woke up to jack hammers at 8 am and no notice of the stairs being taken down leaving us essentially stranded in our apartments and a sorry email at around the time of closing (6pm) saying the management company set that up and didn't notify them and that it would be done in 1 day it took 3 days. I have a dog who was maybe 62lbs at the time who I had to carry and do a balancing act to get down my stairs safely to go to the restroom. Everyone's nice but it just does not meet any expectations of what a quality "newly renovated" apartment is supposed to be. I've had better experiences in a college dorm room. It simply was a roof over my head during this transition in my life to a new city and due to covid I wasn't able to take the steps I wanted to move out of here expeditiously. Will not recommended this place to anyone at all. Edit: I have spoken to one of the property managers I'm glad they reached out in regards to my review. Been staying here for a year and on the online portal active building it gave me the option to Renew my lease by January 14.We told them a month prior we did not want to renew in person why they shut active building down then renewed our lease without any consent I've never heard of no shit like this on top of that the apartment is raggedy has mold and the ceiling damn near about to cave in cause whoever stays on top of us has a flooding problem. Staying was one of the worst decisions I've made. The first apartment i moved in was on the first floor. By the end of the month we had an infestation of roaches. They bombed the apartment twice. One morning we woke up to wood shavings coming out the side of the dishwasher and i prompted immediately to be moved to another apartment because i suspected a mouse was in the apartment. The second apartment ended up flooding because of a pipe busting on the floor above. My neighbor and I called all night and no one answered. In the morning they went inside and inside to dry the apartment and still never called me. They tried to tell me that the apartment was not going to grow mold and that i can sleep in the living room being 3 months pregnant. I had to find my my own temporary housing in the meantime. After a week of them waiting to see if the apartment dried out the apartment grew mold. Then on the first they gave me an option to resign another lease for 6 months for an apartment on the third floor or being let out my lease. I chose to be let and my lease and was charged rent for 4 days. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! The apartments are falling apartment maintenance is slow and there is always police activity here! read more

Before you start reading this review, be aware that they are deleting recent bad reviews in order to save face. They think we don't realize it, but we do. This place is DEPLORABLE. I literally cannot even describe how bad it is. Let me go through the points. 1. Maintenance is straight up awful. We put in a service request 3 separate times to get things fixed, like our front door locks (you know, a safety thing), and they continued to mark the requests as 'completed' even though NOBODY came by the apartment to fix it. And they will lie through their teeth about it too saying that "oh we were there but nobody was home", even though I work from home all day everyday. I would know if somebody was there. 2. The employees in the front office are rude and are straight up liars. They say that they want to help you and make your living situations more comfortable, but they never EVER follow up with your requests. And then as soon as they are confronted, they are somehow surprised that they are being pushed to do their jobs? Ridiculous. 3. Maintenance men will just come by and let themselves in after knocking just a couple of times. One day I was in the bathroom and they apparently needed to come by for a "cabinet inspection" (there was NO 24 HOUR NOTICE either!!!), the guys knocked 2-3 times, and as I'm coming out of the bathroom I hear keys in my front door and then 3 men are coming in. IMAGINE the fear I felt in that moment, and then they gave me attitude for being surprised. 4. This place is also disgusting. They have valet trash service and it is just awful. I appreciate the effort but they don't ever ever ever pick up all of the trash. The hallways and grass areas are CONSTANTLY covered in garbage. And then they are somehow surprised when there's a rat and roach problems. 5. Also - when attempting to contact corporate, the email doesn't even work. So they want nothing to do with you or actually want to help you. I want it to be CLEAR that I fully believe this place needs to be reported and shut down. It is genuinely this awful. I have experienced a multitude of issues with the management at this apartment complex for the past 3 years. At one point they credited my rent to a different unit and attempted to evict me. Each time I went to the office with proof from my bank that I paid my rent on time, they said the problem was taken care of. However, I would continue to get notices on my door threatening eviction and even had a police officer hand deliver an eviction notice. I had to go to the courthouse with my proof! Then the apartment complex tried to make me pay for the court fees because they wrongfully tried to evict me. They don't have locking gates and people illegally drive into the property to dump their trash. The dumpsters are usually overflowing. One of these illegal dumpers side swiped my car on their way out the complex and then drove off. A few months ago my neighbor was shot in the middle of the night and life flighted out of the complex. There have been 2 major fires since I have been here. There is frequent police activity on this property We are forced to pay for door-to-door trash pick up services but they rarely pick up the trash. In the process of trying to upgrade units we have worked with 5 people in the office. 2 of them said they would call us back on multiple occasions and never did. Another one promised us a unit and said they would email us the lease to e-sign. Then they rented the unit out to someone else and never bothered to tell us. We have had to go into the office 7 times in the same month just to continue living here. I am so frustrated and annoyed with the incompetent and rotating management. When I lived here a couple months ago we lived in mold with no ac the staff never fixed anything our electric bill was hundreds of dollars higher than I've ever paid even with the freeze and they never reimbursed us my dog got sick due to the mold per our vet and the staff said I was too poor to be complaining lmao and not only this but there were so many roaches Im not even playing. Can we start a class action lawsuit? read more
