I wish I would've taken the reviews more seriously. Unless you have nowhere else to live I would not recommend anyone to live here. My A/C has been out for almost two weeks ( which is supposed to be an emergency) yet the issue still hasn't been fixed nor taken seriously. It's currently 90 degrees in my apt. And Donna or whoever the rude leasing staff was responded "well we have over 900 units and 4 maintenance men and there are 20 A/C units out". Which shows they're under staffed right? But she says "no they just can't spend all their time fixing your issue". Well who's supposed to fix it? Managers, maintenance, and staff are all a joke. Absolute joke of a community, the management does not gaf past the point of you signing the lease. These apartments are so ghetto and will stay that way at this rate. Expect roaches (a lot), and gun shots (at least 4 different occasions since ive moved here), and crack heads (one ran up to my car in the middle of the night when I went to do laundry in their "community laundry room"). Thats a whole joke in itself, youre lucky if you find a dryer that will dry your towels after 5 cycles. Theres not one good thing I can say about this place. Theres constantly cops in and out of here and the people up front hate their jobs. Theyve overcharged me for rent multiple times and when you try to get ahold of someone good luck. Now theyve even double charged me for rent putting my account negative about $900 and told me its my problem and I gotta call my bank and get my account froze and card turned off to get this money back. They have come into my apartment without me knowing or giving any notice, only reason I know is because my partner told me. When you confront them they dodge and deflect all problems. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS, NO SECURITY, and NO GATE, So just about anyone can walk into your apartment zone. My apartment got broken into from the second floor due to a broken lock they never fixed. Not only that but I was charged the incorrect rent amount on the 1st and when I talked to rose Martinez in the front office she stated multiple times "it's common sense to know my rent amount", I attempted to make appointments with the apartment manager multiple times but no one yet has gotten in touch with me to resolve the rent issue. If i could give this place negative stars I would. I have lived in this apartment a little over a year and my experience has been more than terrible. Roaches, rats, nothing is sealed correctly, the sinks smell like sewage regardless of how much bleach i poor down them and I'm honestly completely over it. I am six months pregnant and cannot live in these conditions the new property manager did speak to me about moving apartments but what's the point if I'm just going to be put in the same situation?? I cannot raise a baby in these conditions. The carpet in my living room is coming up to the point you can see where wires were run under at one point. No matter how many work orders you put in nothing will ever be fixed, they just close them out in the system and file them as completed. There is no reason these apartments should be the way they are. I currently have my 60 day notice in and will be taking these apartments to small claims court for my money back they're trying to make me pay for the last two months even though I will not be living here any longer. If I could give this place -100 I would. PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS PEOPLE. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND THE TROUBLE. The management is terribly unprofessional. I have been living here for 6 months and the pest infestation has been getting worse. I have put in multiple requests, calls and schedule maintenance to come by many times and nothing has been done. The employees in the office are extremely nonchalant and unresponsive. I have spent so much money on cleaning/pest infestation supplies yet the pest problem keeps getting worse. The manager "advised" me to still "keep paying rent in full. We may be able to give you one month's credit, but it is not guaranteed". They claim that they did not receive all of my requests even though I have paperwork from the time they scheduled maintenance to come by. The streets are terrible the potholes are big enough to cause serious damage to your vehicle. I have even left letter to notify them regarding the issues, no body even called for a follow up. I had to call MULTIPLE TIMES just for them to answer and most of the times they answer and hang up. They have roach infestation in LITERALLY EVERY CORNER. I have had roaches fall into my food while cooking. Roaches crawling by the bed yet nothing has been done. If maintenance comes around they only take a look and leave without actually doing anything. You pay 20 dollars for trash each month which never comes. The office workers aren't helpful at all. My Ac haven't been working properly since I moved in. The roof has a leak and they never came out to fix it. They say there under "new management" but they are pretty much the same as the old ones. When I first moved in two years ago the apartment was nice until we got our first thunder storm and my roof started leaking in both the guest bedroom and the living room. It took them 2 weeks to computer and spray mold spray in it and paint over the leak. 1 month after that it leaked again really bad to the point that the ceiling started crumbling onto my daughters bed and you could see the mold on the pieces that fail. The maintenance cleared my order and never came to my appointment. It took 1 almost 2 months for them to actually come out. In August of last year I am guessing that my ac broke and water ruined my downstairs neighbors apartment and completely soak my walls and floor. They came right out to fix the leak but they left my floor soaking wet to the point where water covered my feet when I stepped on the carpet. I had to call the office 5 times for them to come and dry my carpet. They cut the carpet to pull out the padding and they left a fan for 2 nights. When they came to pick up the fan they never fixed my carpet. 1 week later I called them to fix it and they came out and stated that the part they cut up was wear and tear and that there was nothing that they can do to fix it. One afternoon that same day there was a person killed in there car (shoot in his head) in the parking lot where I live. At night you could hear people outside fighting!!! Three months later I had the apartment full of cockroaches, I call the apt office to send pest control and they did but it got worse!! Four months later that happened we had new neighbors, but guess what??? They were selling drugs and smoking Marihuana all the time, every time I arrived to the apt felt that if we were smoking it because it will filter from the restroom!! Several times there was people with guns and also they'd been attacked from other drug seller and I have seen all of that. Almost every night the police has to go and inspect the parking lots because there are suspicious cars or somebody called them because they got robbed. Two months ago somebody broke my windows car and damaged my car door, I did a police report and the police told me that they got most of the call from those apts and that I need to move ASAP, When I called the front office they said that it's because of COVID but the crime rate has been increasing day by day since I moved in. The cop that came out said that in this area they get calls to come in every night. At the start of 2020 a car got shoot up in the same parking lot I park in as well my daughter seen the whole thing because she was sitting in front of her window and they didn't find the person why did it. The apartments took 4 months to move the car that got shoot up. IF YOU ARE A PARENT PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS APTS THEY ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS! So far I have seen three dead people there! I am going to move out one month before my lease ends because it is too much. I have been a resident at this complex for going on 3 complete years, and up until now I have had a decent experience. This year, I have noticed some things that have really made my decision to remain there a mistake. First, the electricity shuts off completely every once in awhile. For some reason, having things running simultaneously is a bit to ask for. Second, no matter how much I deep clean my apartment, there is still a very bad bug problem that exists, and I have asked about this numerous times. Last, and certainly not least, there has been a leak in my ceiling for the past 6 months at least. It has created a brown molded spot on my ceiling which can be very hazardous to my health. I've asked about this issue at least five times, and the only thing they do is paint over it, but that does not solve the problem at all. Please don't move here if you have another choice. I understand there might be a good deal or cost savings... but there is a reason it's cheap. There are other "cheap" places that don't suck this bad! I have had several issues come up in the time I have lived here. It's not just one thing... it's several Crime - My car has been broken into. My car has been side swiped 2 times. Things from my patio have gone missing. Strangers have attempted to walk into our apartment; when I asked them what they were doing they said they needed to use our microwave to pop their popcorn. I told them no. These same people were involved in a shooting 3 doors down from me in the middle of the night just a couple of weeks after the popcorn incident. The apartment sent out letters stating that crime was so bad they hired a full-time security team and had 2 police officers helping out full-time on the property. The exercise room has had most of equipment stolen from it and I see people hanging out and smoking in the gym. Property maintenance - I have had a leak in my ceiling that has created a huge water mark, rotten wood, and soaked carpet and padding. They came out 3 times to "fix" this leak. They stopped the leak but didn't replace the rotten sheet rock, carpet, padding, or wood siding.... so now there is mold. The built-in microwave's door handle is about to fall off but they don't consider that broken because you don't need to use the handle to open the microwave, you can just grab the sides and pull it open. ROACHES!!!! They have a pest control service but it's not enough. I buy roach bait and go roach hunting as soon as the lights come on the morning. On a good morning I'll kill 3 roaches. One a bad morning... it's more like 12. When I open my cabinets there are always roaches! Every day I'll find live and dead roaches on everything! I have even taken everything out of my cabinets and used chalk to fill in the holes hoping to stop them... it didn't work. Those damn roaches are holding up the walls at this point. Safety - Fires, fires, and more fires. There have been 2 MAJOR fires in the time I have lives here. They burnt down entire buildings. People had to throw their kids out of 3rd flood windows to survive. Apparently there was a 3rd fire just before I moved in too. read more

Worst apartments I've ever lived in. To begin, they have absolutely no urgency or care or concern about the amount of dog poop that covers the grounds. The smells are so overbearing, you can't even enjoy your patio because no one cleans up behind their animals. I think they sprayed for roaches 1 time when we first moved in and never came back so at the end of our lease the roaches completely took over! They also tell you don't spray your own spray because then it will cancel out whatever pest control sprays so....... there's that. Our lights in the bathroom went out and when I put in a request to get them fixed the maintenance man told me, "that's not something maintenance is supposed to replace and it's up to the tenant." Which is a lie because I'm renting so all fixtures and things of that such are covered under my rent. He fixed it because he knew... outside of that the apartments need to be condemned as a whole honestly. You'll never have hot water, at least we barley did when we stayed probably once a month we'd go turn on the hot water and then get a notice later that day that the water will be off next few days. Very inconvenient! When we moved in, apparently our fire extinguisher was an old used one and we didn't even know until a small fire started and the fire extinguisher was empty ..... I do not recommend this place at all, in the summer the nats reproduce too fast to keep up so, be prepared to share your home with them April - August cause they'll be there. It's pretty dangerous as well. And the side street is always accompanied with random cars that just sit and park for no reason. One evening I was walking into my home with my two small children and had to dodge bullets from someone just pulling up and shooting on the side street for no reason. It's ridiculous here. Just don't do it. Save your self. If you pay more than 700 for this place you're wasting your money cause it's not even worth the 909 I paid for the year and I will never recommend these to anyone. Can't wait to leave here this month! Never again. Everything is half painted, the floors are splattered with paint from them doing repairs. I came to this property looking to move quickly because of the situation I was in. Devona Hogan was extremely knowledgeable and caring! I've never met a leasing manager that genuinely cared! I thank God for her because she did everything in her power to help the process move as quickly as possible so that me and my babies could get settled into our new lives. Her name is Schreeda Wallace. Now onto the raw review of the complex, because they asked me several times to leave one... I am a current resident here at Circle at Point Park. I have only been living here one month. Within this time; the AC has broken and it took four days to fix (side note it is the middle of summer & they "came out and fixed it" the first day by just flipping the breaker but hello!!! I needed a new AC unit because it was BROKEN. @ a whopping 85 degrees FOR ALMOST FOUR DAYSSSSSS I digress), the week I moved in the toilet backed up into the tub through the piping system & onto the floor from underneath the toilet right? And the Maintenance man "Frank" lied to my face about the seal being replaced until I brought a specialist up front into the leasing office to let him know I knew what the heck I was talking about because he hadn't even removed the screws on the toilet he just lied to my face & then he sent two other men in my apartment to fix it which by the way I had to be on the phone with a specialist just to make sure they did it correctly because they were really trying to not do the full job- they tried to half ass it. Oh and need I mention the amount of roaches there were when I moved in. I immediately put in a work order request & a few days later a nice pest control guy came and put bait out. I do have to say if you're stern with the women up front about how absolutely unacceptable it is to live in these conditions they make you feel like a priority. However, unless you demand to speak with someone in upper management or basically pursue lawful action you are not taken seriously. I moved in while the special was happening 99$ and then after I applied the woman Brittney said I had to place a deposit of 300$ that I would not be receiving back ( I found this out after I paid her though) because I didn't have reliable leasing credit however my credit score was 680 when I applied they just really wanted to get paid. This place is a dump. My air conditioning unit has went out a total of four times. I've been here a year and a half. The foundation on the second floor which I live is uneven. The bathroom fixtures are ace of beer joke. The staff cares nothing about you after you sign your lease. The management does not answer the phone the assistant manager does not answer the phone when you go in person they close their doors. I have had fruit flies in my apartment for the last two months. I have asked for different people Jessica Korri another person and another person always get that I will get someone to help you and nothing. Everyone in that office needs to be replaced. The grounds are barely kept. People walk around with their dogs leaving their feces around and not picking it up. Bottom line bugs and rodents. I rarely have hot water Loud neighbors Trash everywhere I moved here almost a month ago as I was attracted to the low cost. I am disappointed with my space and the work that was put into making it move-in ready. There was obviously some serious water damage done to this unit at some point and all the particle board from the incident seems to have been reused and falls apart if you touch it, lean on it, or look at it too hard. Almost nothing is properly sealed. I'm missing baseboards in my bathroom and closet and my apartment has smelled like paint for 2 weeks. The bathroom and kitchen counters have been given some textured spray treatment leaving them slightly sticky no matter what you use to clean them. I can tell my door has been kicked in sometime in the past by looking at the door frame and you can see the light from outside through my door (not properly sealed). I am tentative to reach out to maintenance as an unfortunate standard of work was shown by the make ready/maintenance team (or the last renter completely trashed the space who knows.) There is a German Roach and rodent issue in my building. (I know bc I work in pest control and I'm constantly having to service and set traps in my apartment.) Rodents have been getting into my food containers and I woke up in the middle of the night with a roach on my face. Retracted 2 star rating bc I NEVER have hot water. I've been here for 2 years. Phones almost never get answered. Manager was once rude to me while I was minding my own business. Maintenance at times never show up when scheduled. Pest control almost never shows up when requested and on times that they do show up, very minimal work is done. Almost kicked me out for supposedly having a dog that's on the restricted list (Which later on I proved my dog breed wasn't on that list). Even though I went through so much trouble for my dog to stay, I see more and more residents walking their dogs that are obviously on the restricted list. Apparently at this complex, roaches are your roommates. Random apartment buildings seems to get burnt down at least once a year here. Small thing I learned recently, pizza hut don't deliver here at nights anymore for safety reasons. Don't trust any of the vending machines and don't trust their washer/dryers, both steal money. I was looking for an apartment to move into and while searching online I seen Circle at Point Park. Sold when I seen the prices not knowing what I was getting myself into. Let me just say please pay attention to the reviews they are true! I was promised an apartment in the front next to the office. One of the sale reps was trying to place me an apartment all the way to the back. As the rep was showing me around the apartments there was a man standing outside of the apartments with signs displaying mold pictures of the inside of his apartment. And he also stated how no one in the office was willing to help him out. Secondly the rep showed me the fitness room. Fitness room is open so anyone can have access to it. Soon as we walk into the fitness room there were 4 young guys in there and 1 young girl in there smoking weed and doing so much more.! There was trash everywhere cigar wrappers everywhere etc. I have pictures of proofs. Then as we were going back to the office the young kids moved to the playground area. Yes where the little kids are playing. Also while in the office a tenant came in looking for a maintenance guy to fix the same issue she's been having for the last 2mths. So disturbing!! I tried to get my money back and now they are telling me they can't give it back to me. This is ridiculous! I honestly feel bad for anyone that lives there. The complex from the outside looks really rough... it could definitely use an upgrade although you cant really judge a book by its cover because the apartments upgrades are amazing! there are some faults where every so 10 steps there is an indention in the floor which feels like you are about to dip through the flooring. I really loved the people who work at the leasing office especially Eric. He was kind and patient. I did have a roommate and things did not work out which lead to her moving out on me... lets just say things were left on very bad terms. I was worry for mine and my son's safety so I went to the leasing office were i spoke to a "manager" (I will not name her name) and asked her to take my roommate off our leasing contract and if they could change my locks... lets just say she refused unless i filed a police report... granted it feels like they would rather have a murder or a robbery take place before taking actions. So i did diligence and went to file a police report. After I filed one I called the leasing office and asked for said person and she still refused to change it on top of saying it would cost 30-35 dollars. I offered to change it myself to save labor and cost and she said it would still cost 30-35 for the "keys to be made a spare for them." I am frustrated and sometimes even paranoid but, I'm mainly disappointed. I really wanted to renew my lease and stay here in this complex but now I am afraid I will have to renew elsewhere due to the circumstances. I can afford my apartment complex on my own but I still wanted to give them one more chance so I asked to downsize when the guy at the leasing office told me that if I can't afford my place... you get evicted... sucks for you, pretty much. I don't go in the office much because they are always rude but the hand full of times I've had to go in it's always different people and they all have horrible attitudes. Besides the office, maintenance are creeps, I have my fiancé fix things before I tell the office. I went to tell them my front door was broken once and it took them weeks to fix it. I pay for pest control and I have yet to see any pest being controlled. The roaches, spiders, and bedbugs are crazy. The bed bugs didn't start until my neighbor moved in clearly had them and had all their crap sitting on the porch. It was super expensive for me to get rid of. The break ins are also a problem. The people around here watch you and it's like they don't even care. At a point of time I would see cop cars pull up at least twice a week. I would come home and they would sit in the round about with their lights off. I would not recommend my worst enemy here. It has been a complete waste of my money and time, I will not be renewing my lease. read more
