What I really liked was their "pan dulce" display case stocked with all the traditional sweet bread and baked goods from south of the border. As a kid, I spent a lot of time in Baja with the fam, and these colorful treats in front of me today really bring back fond memories. I also heard from the management staff that they plan on opening a "carniceria" (meat counter) inside the store with regional cuts and choices of meat. I have tracked how much I spend at a lil pantry every month and I can say that I should be a valued customer. But hearing that my money spent is going to some asshole doesn't make me feel that way.
