I stopped by there today on the way back from the airport to pick up some flowers for my wife and also to grab a Starbucks in the Safeway, and while I found some flowers, I left with different flowers than expected and no Starbucks, and I was disappointed with the service I experienced. First, I stopped by the store's Starbucks where there was no one in line, and I waited at the front of the line where the employee saw me and continued doing something that wasn't clear (making a drink or cleaning something). She didn't acknowledge me and when she finished, she didn't offer to assist me. I ended up walking away when it appeared she wasn't in the mood to assist someone. I then walked over to the floral section where the floral associate said that the flowers I was looking for weren't in stock and were not being replenished. She pointed out a similar priced bouquet of flowers though I told her I wasn't concerned about the price but was looking for a similar color and type of flower. She hadn't shared any suggestions for what I could get, so I just selected flowers I thought my wife would like and departed. On the way out, I saw the Starbucks associate cleaning something in front of the front counter with no customers waiting for assistance. I did not stop back at the counter. I have enjoyed Safeway and Albertsons stores in general and their promotions from their annual Monopoly game way back when to the Flavor Adventure through the app a few years ago, too. While I haven't taken advantage of the curbside pick-up at other locations, I know it is offered here even if I hadn't used it. I really appreciate the $5 monthly credit and the Starbucks perks (to buy a grande-sized drink for only $2 every month). Between those two alone, you more than make back when you spend on the program. While there are certainly things that this store can better do in the future to meet customers' needs in terms of customer service, the store looked in good condition and items seemed to be in stock.

Have been watching it being built and gassed up there for the first time recently. Used some Fry's rewards and only paid $2.99 per gallon with no wait time. Did not go inside the convenience store building on the site, but that is also a plus over other Fry's Fuel locations as most just have a clerk in a window structure and not many shopping options. This is a convenient location on our way home from work or family so we will likely frequent this for fuel fill-ups in the future.

They are close and convenient to where I'm staying and both clerks I've encountered have been very pleasant. Yes, there is s 35¢ fee, oh well. And a 35¢ fee to get extra cash. Do I feel cheated? NO. They run a business and charge a tiny fee. Sounds fair to me. I'm glad to buy their gas and glad they offer the service of cash back because I was literally down to my last dollar in cash so I needed it. I'll be back.

Wife and I enjoy the great values and ease of shopping here. Wide Selection of affordable baby clothes, vitamin water, frozen foods, and vitamins. The scan-and-go feature helps alleviate the crowds as well. Only negative is that Costco beats them in the food court, pizza/hotdogs because they have a much smaller staff to prepare foods even though their pizza beats costco pizza. We visit Costco much less often vs Sam's Club nowadays...it just has more of what we're looking for.

Much easier to have a physical card that doesn't get all my phone data. Also if you use the app at the Gas Station it has to be tied to a specific credit card. Customer service was no help, they said if I get their Master Card then I would get a physical membership card. Very annoying. I guess I will spend my money a Costco who allows you get a physical card. I was an add on member from my husband anyway, won't be spending our household money here.

It's jus a good store and I always am near this location when I'm stomping around Tempe for errands. It has lots of drinks, ice machine always works and gas pumps on both sides. It's just good, well laid out and guts always hold the door for me going in and out. Something about this location is charming. Lots of working people passing thru and taking care of business.
