Update. Trying to call to talk to any manager is a joke. Nobody picks up the phone in the AM they just lets it ring. I stopped in for gas and called the store my while sitting out front. I watched two employees talking to each other just letting the phone ring. This was around noon. I've called a couple more times to get a hold of a manager and was told the manager Lisa does not take calls. The manager Michael is racist, sexist and just all around rude. This is not just customers but I have seen him belittle the staff especially the women. I have been coming here for years and his behavior is appalling. read more

GETTING HERE: Navigate to this location of Love's on your GPS of choice. I had been driving for hours and hours, and was desperate to stop and get my legs moving. :) Glad I stopped here. REVIEW: I mean, it's a LOVE'S! Where have I been that I didn't know what this was? (Full disclosure, don't tell my friends, I got this confused with a Bucc-ee's) :) While I don't travel as often as I would like to (wah!) I noticed just recently that there are Love's everywhere. I can't wait to stop into another one to compare the size, souvenirs, etc. This stop was a good time, except for the Arby's next door. Not sure if it's a separate Yelp page or not, but it was a rough go next door. If you're on a time crunch, I would recommend passing on the Arby's sauce and just grab your snacks and head on out. But, Love's seemed to be semi-stocked with drinks, snacks (cough! Road Trip! Where are the Sour Patch Kids?) and an area of Arizona items for sale. The lady at the counter was so friendly, sincere. IMO, sincerity really does go a long way. It was really crowded at the front entrance with people coming in and out, but both employees were juggling it all with ease. I bought a few stickers to rep. the AZ and didn't use the restroom or any other facilities so do not have anything to report there. Overall, I would recommend a stop here. She is extremely rude and inconsiderate of how she approaches resting people. If her job makes her to be like this in a 100% customer service based industry then she should be terminated immediately and this particular Loves should hire security to monitor the parking lot more professionally. Stopped by last night to bring home some classic Roast Beef sandwiches and curly fries for the fam. It was about a 20-minute drive home and I decided to munch on a few fries while driving...I have no doubt these fries were made the day before as they were hard and awful tasting. When I got home, the sandwiches didn't taste right either and although we tried to press thru, we deemed them not worth continuing to eat those either. We ended up putting together a combo of frozen pot pies and frozen chicken fingers from our freezer and everything tasted right (in case anyone thinks our taste buds were off when trying the Arby's). I've stopped at this Arby's before returning from work when in Sun Lakes and it's been fine. But, considering this unredeemable experience, I would certainly not recommend this location to anyone. read more

First thing I saw when I arrived was no overnight parking signs, and then just 1 hour customer parking signs. Between Loves and google, someone Definitely confirmed this false information as true. A good place to stop when the needle is nearing empty as you approach Phoenix coming up the I-10, before you get into the craziness of the city. Clean restrooms and cheap gas. Just what the doctor ordered for a weary traveler. It may not be love, but I really, really like it. Don't call Love's a "convenience store" ... heck, I don't think "Travel Stop" even begins to cover it. Since this is Yelp, let's start with the FOOD. Yeah, sure, it's the kind of food you may expect to find at a truck stop, but the scale and quality is higher than most. You can cleanse your palette with a surprisingly fresh fruit cup or, like at any well-stocked travel stop, partake in the rows and rows of chips and dips and candies that should meet anyone's sweet or salty tooth needs. On the less nutritious and more delicious side, they definitely know how to make a hot dog! I was transfixed by the gigantic island of food, the rollers -- like 10 or so of 'em: several with different types of high-quality dogs from Schwab's. On the other rollers, you'll find (for one) different flavors of Tornados. Tornados, for those unaware, are a, well, tornado of Mexican-style ingredients wrapped in a batter-dipped and fried tortilla: Cheese and Pepperoni, Southwest Chicken (for which I can vouch for its yumminess), and Steak Ranchero. You'll also find the famed Roller Bites brand, known for its excellent breakfast scramblers. It definitely lives up to its name, "Travel Shop", as the amenities are bountiful: 24-hour auto service (from cars to diesel trucks), showers, speedy Wi-Fi, copiers and fax machines, overnight parking, document scanning (through TripPak Express), and the capability to take almost EVERY IMAGINABLE payment type (from Apple and Android Pay to gas cards like QuikQ). I stayed at this truck stop. I filled up when I got there. The next morning when I went to leave, I had a half a tank. Someone siphoned off about 100 gallons of my fuel, that's about $350.00. I went in to report it to the manager. I asked her if they had any cameras , no. I asked her if they had any security, again no. She told me tough break, they had broken into her vehicle too. That is usually when then staff rips down the sign. Years go by before a mediocre manager is fired/quits and a good manager is hired, who prints out a sign and does their job. The managers here are very underqualified and that shows in their lack of common sense and know how. Every other travel plaza will open a shower for woman to use, so a man can clean the restroom when the women are not cleaning it. The toilets haven't been cleaned in weeks. Not one person has lifted the seat or their hands to clean this place. They aren't crazy busy. they are crazy unorganized, lazy and defensive about it. I mean every driver knows as soon as you walk into a Loves someone yells "hello!" or "welcome to Loves". Here they ignore you and hope you go away because they all hate their jobs. The managers need help in prioritizing duties to get a shared goal complete. Like stop stocking an item (that no one is interested in) to help the customers, so a female employee can clean the bathroom. Make employees clean the bathroom before clocking out. Re-established schedules since every other Loves in this country has a clean as hell bathroom before 8am. Waiting for a Monday delivery is hell here. I have been observing the worst managers and staff. Not a surprise just a disappointment. I went to Loves Speedco to do coolant flush and after 6h of waiting when I it come to my turn they have told me they don't do it. On my question why I was waiting 6h the guy said: "I don't know it was first shift I just came, I don't know what they did." If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. We walked in, trying to shower as we've had a hard time recently. The man who was in the control room treated us like complete crap like we were scum for needing a shower there. He told us we might not want to shower there and when we tried to ask him why he told us we needed to leave. I've never been treated so badly before in a public setting. As he walked away from us he mumbled the "b word" and kept walking away to the bathrooms in the back as I asked for his name. He never gave me his name. I asked another worker there what his name was, she said he was mean to everyone and his name is "Neff". I doubt it's just us who've been treated this way by this man. He was very aggressive and I was absolutely shocked. I will NOT be coming back here for ANY reason, ever. Absolutely horrible. I'll also be posting on all platforms. read more
