However, the BIGGEST disappointment were the fries!!! They were basically "crinkle cut" shoestring potatoes. I have tried other chicken tenders places and had massive crinkle cut fries. I cannot truly express my disappointment in them!!! The service was great. My food was presented in a timely.

Known for its juicy burgers, customizable toppings, and generous portions, it delivers an old-school feel with modern quality. **Food Quality**: The burgers are always fresh, never frozen, and cooked to perfection with a nice sear. What sets Five Guys apart is the freedom to fully customize your burger with a wide array of toppings, from the basics like lettuce and tomato to grilled onions, mushrooms, and jalapeños. Their patties are hearty and full of flavor, with the right balance of meat and seasoning. **Fries**: The fries are another highlight. Hand-cut and cooked in peanut oil, they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You get a huge serving, often spilling out of the cup into the bag, making it a perfect accompaniment to the meal. **Service & Atmosphere**: Service at Five Guys is typically quick and efficient, though the made-to-order approach means you may have to wait a little. The atmosphere is casual and straightforward, focused on delivering great food without the frills. He specifically is always making sure the food is fresh and everyone is satisfied. I have never been here when the food wasn't good. Yes, it can be frustrating when they don't have certain toppings are things made but they are one of a few 'fast food' places to do almost everything in house, and for that you have to give credit.

Unfortunately, it's the same disappointing experience every time. The chicken bowl portions are incredibly inconsistent--sometimes acceptable, other times surprisingly small. To make matters worse, the ice machine was broken... again. This isn't an isolated incident; it's something I've encountered on multiple visits. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a standard Chipotle. The dining area has the usual look and feel, but while some areas were clean, other parts of the restaurant were noticeably dirty and could have used more attention. After a previous review, Chipotle Corporate contacted me and I took the time to provide detailed feedback. I genuinely hoped that would lead to improvements, but nothing has changed. At this point, it feels like the problems are systemic and start with management rather than the employees working the line. There are simply too many great places to eat in Slidell to keep wasting time and money on a restaurant that consistently fails to deliver a reliable experience. Until there's a real commitment to fixing these ongoing issues, I can't recommend this location. Overall: 1/5 stars.

I've had breakfast, lunch and supper. Today was lunch! After very very early flights into NOLA we needed something to eat. We arrived right after breakfast was up. It ends at 10:30. We got there at 10:35. Oh well. We both order the chicken salad on the sourdough bread. The sandwich was HUGE! We could've split it for sure. We each took half home. The chicken salad is tasty. The only thing the bread falls apart making it hard to eat. But the amount of chicken salad is really good. The sandwich came with chips which is pretty standard. The counters, floors and dining room was clean. Which is important to me. The food was ready in 15 +/- minutes. They was only 4 other people in there besides us so I wasn't expecting it to take long. All in all it was good just as I expected. The only negative was the front counter person was not friendly at all. Just looked at us when we walked in. No smile, no welcome, nothing, which is unusual for Panera. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she doesn't get paid enough. Maybe she just didn't want to be there. It happens. Food was good, inside was clean, parking lot was adequate and bathroom was okay! I would definitely recommend! Cheers

Now this is where the low stars come in. Front of house worker taking orders was so rude. She had an AirPod in and kept making not only us but other people repeat themselves and said "I can't hear you". Of course you can't sister - you have a freakin AirPod in. I'm not a Karen and normally wouldn't give a rat but she was rude and obviously trying to make her lack of effort everyone else's issue. You can't hear the way you need to because you have an AirPod in, not because people aren't speaking up. She was rude when we placed our order and then didn't ask if we'd like chips or drinks before she told us our total. Ended up just ordering drinks separately at the self service kiosk because we didn't feel like dealing with her nasty attitude again, which she was giving out to everyone for free. All the other employees we encountered were very nice. Tables were for the most part clean but most still had some crumbs - again not a huge deal, rushes happen and something's get over looked. Everything was actually really clean though, even the bathrooms.
