Absolutely positively one of the rudest store clerks I've ever had to deal with at this location

Excellent, excellent, excellent!…read more I came here with my family on a holiday (due to my student's high recommendation). We ordered the FAMILY PLATTER with chicken shawarma. My son ordered half a chicken with rice and hummus on the side. We sat outside because the weather was glorious. It was excellent! I will be coming back as soon as I can.

We ordered and immediately noticed that the place was full of people with numbers on their tables and no food, so we were prepared for a wait. We definitely did wait. It took about 20 minutes to get our food after we ordered. We were in no hurry, so it wasn't really a huge deal. We both ordered bowls. I got a chicken kofta bowl with rice, hummus, and cucumbers. My boyfriend got the lamb kofta bowl with rice, baba ganoush and salad. When our food arrived, the lamb came out with my sides and the chicken came out with my boyfriend's sides. It's an easy fix as we just swapped koftas, but this really should not have happened. Our first impression was slow service and orders not correct, so it was not the best start. The food was delicious, though. We both enjoyed our koftas. In fact, I would order the chicken again and again. The hummus had the best texture. The salad was exceptional. The baba ganoush was the star of the show. Would get it again and again. The rice is delicious. I would come back for the food. The service needs a little work.

I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.

However, dieting in 2024 has me cutting down on fried foods and fast foods in moderation and substituting healthier options. However, I love burgers and won't let myself eat them unless it's the occasional Burger-Fi or Shake Shack (I do love Wendy's on occasion) After reading and lurking on The burgers subreddit, the Midwestern Wisconsin Burger chain is really making headlines for it's made to order food. I was on Tampa and had done mid-day time to kill, do I found myself a Culver's, I'd been waiting for a year to get into one. The food is made to order, so the take out lines can be longer than your microwaved McDonald's crap. I ordered a "Butter Burger" thier famous burger with whatever options I wanted, pickles, mustard, Wisconsin cheddar, mayo, and grilled onions. It was the best fast food burger I've ever eaten, maybe besides In-N-Out?!? I also got spicy fried cheese curds, which were heavenly! I went all out and got a vanilla shake, which they are famous for. This thick and rich shake was devine! Try out Culvers, you won't be disappointed. I'd drive 45 minutes to get to one, that my Yelp peeps, is saying something!! I can't wait to find one locally in Broward :)

The hummus selection is good about six which was plenty. The Moroccan hot sauce was peak for me. I love hot and spicy! I wish they had more traditional fermented/picked veggies. My perfect bowl has chickpeas and spinach, gyro meat, harissa and feta hummus, pickled cabbage, cucumbers, and the star of the show "Grandma's hot sauce". If they bottled that I would totally buy it! Let's not forget the dolmades, falafel, and sweet potato fries. I also have to mention the portion sizes! One bowl will feed me happily for 2 days. There are so many combinations you could make here and each one of them would be delicious. They also have BOGO half off in the afternoons 3-6. And wash it all down with the turmeric ginger lemonade that will have you feeling healthier than ever. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of space to eat your meal inside or outside on their little makeshift patio space. You're going to love it!
