We love this Publix have been going there 11 years. We went to grab subs as on Mothers Day the wife and kids wanted simple after big day and big brunch. Ordered a Philly Cheese, soft sub roll with grilled onions and green pepper. Was told no soft rolls, grilled onions or green peppers as advertised on the website. The beef was like rubber by time we got home 6 miles away. Went in the trash. They did slap raw onions on there, nasty on a Philly cheesesteak lesson learned read more

The staff in the deli are often rude, but it's usually fine. I just put it down to them Bering busy and understaffed. However. I realized today they are that way because the deli manager is rude. I was standing at the deli counter today, alone, maybe 5 minutes before deli manager Carl decided to acknowledge me. He acted as if he were doing me a favor by taking my order. Publix needs to get better at customer service. They need to staff the deli better , so that the employees are not constantly angry and taking it out on the customers. I come to this location because the one closest to me. On 60 and Valrico Boulevard is a train wreck. However, they need to get rid of the attitude! read more

Super clean store and everything's organized well. Came in for a pub sub and drinks but ended up doing more shopping than I wanted. I was able to get everything I needed and some. The deli area was clean especially the sub/sandwich area, and the gentleman who helped was super customer friendly. read more

It's time to update this review and give my favorite Publix location a 5 star shout out on #ThankYouThursday. They are always there when we need them, and especially after a hurricane. This last one knocked out power to the surrounding Brandon/Valrico neighborhoods. This Publix bakery was open early the very next day with lots of fresh pastries and bread. I was so excited when my husband brought home some warm guava pastries and apple turnovers. They are always there for us. They've also saved us time in the kitchen. They have wonderful fried chicken, fresh made soups, and the best deli subs. They've fried up chicken and papa rellenas for us in the past when we didn't see what we wanted already bagged up. Don't hesitate to ask them when the next batch will be ready. Their Italian five grain bread is my favorite for subs. I love anything with Boar's Head roast beef and those yummy dill pickles. My most recent discovery is the deli made chicken salad. We've had it twice in the past 2 weeks and it's pretty tasty. I'm also a fan of their everything croissants. Get some if you see them at the bakery. This store is clean, and the employees are always very helpful and friendly. It may be a little more expensive than other grocery stores, but they truly have the best BOGO deals. I really missed Publix when we were stationed in other states. This location is a one stop shop for all of our grocery needs. read more

You ever have one of them "dejavu" feelings? Yep this store gave them to me. Most Publix are shuffled around. This one to me looks just like one of Brandons ones. Totally lost my footing, my internal gps was screaming! Lol it was cleaned, very well stocked. I stopped cuz my blood sugar was beyond low. I gave to obey my family's rules n Dash safely. So i chose to get one of them chicken tender meals. After the gentleman gave my plate I realized they had the 2 for 1 chicken tender sandwiches. P_P oh well next time ill grab 4. I did buy pancake mix to. I like prepping them way early. I do them with cheese or power meal them with; quinoa, spinash n other yummy stuff. Stick em in the freezer n use em when i need them. Grandpa used to make them real big. Put scrambled eggs, ham n a lot of cheese in the middle. Then wrap em like a burrito. Flip em over to cook the top. It was such a massive meal! I still do them only if the other person eats half. I got to keep my weight under control. If u do em thinner n smaller? U can shove em in a paper sleeve to go also. Ill come back to this publix in the future. It all depends on where my Dash stops me. I do like river view. Used to live down the street from the highschool. There must be 25 Publix stores within a 30 mile radius of my place. This one is by far one of my favorites. I love the way everything is set up so conveniently, and I love all the interesting food items they sell. Today I noticed so many items I've not noticed before. I went grocery shopping hungry, which is never a good thing. I was able to see ready-made items that were available that I usually wouldn't purchase. I'm usually at home in the kitchen, cooking up a new recipe I just had to try, or making an old standby. Anyway, I would rather cook than buy pre-packaged stuff, but some of the foods I saw looked like winners to me. Next time I'm getting a Cuban sandwich and eating it in the car, crumbs and all. I wish they'd had a Bahn Mi. THAT, I would've gotten for sure! The cashier was so super-nice. I bought chicken breasts, and she asked me if I wanted another because it was "buy one, get one free"! I hadn't noticed so that was really nice of her to have the bagger run back to get another one. He brought back even larger breasts than I had already chosen ;) While he was gone, we were laughing about me pushing the wrong button on their very high-tech checkout system. I had pushed the "Spanish language" key. Whoops! Since I'm rusty on the Spanish I learned in school, and couldn't get the machine to cancel it and start all over, we were laughing about how I know very little written, but understand more "spoken". She said she was the same, as we tried to decipher what the machine was telling me to do next. It was pretty easy to figure out, and words came back to me haha! As usual, a very nice young man asked if I needed help out, and of course I said yes. They are so nice at this store. I just love Publix! read more

This is my neighborhood Publix; the one that I visit the most often, and which I love. I have no complaints at all about the service, the quality, or the people that work here. I've always had friendly and efficient service at the registers, at the deli counter, at the bakery, etc. The only reason I am giving this location three stars is because, during my most recent visit, I discovered that they have now installed self-checkout lanes. I am VERY disappointed. What makes Publix Publix is their friendly employees, and the way (I have always heard) they care about their employees. And yet, it seems, they are jumping on the self-checkout bandwagon that Walmart (in which I refuse to shop) instituted years ago. Self-checkout lanes kill jobs, and take away the friendly face-to-face service that Publix customers know and love. Come on, Publix. Care about your employees and their jobs more than the bottom line. There are enough machines. Bring back the people! You're better than this! read more

Their stores are always sparkling clean, the employees are absurdly friendly and accommodating, and they have great deals like buy one get one free. Their Publix brand products are also top quality and reasonably priced, and if they don't carry what you like, they'll even order it for you. They now have all of new-age perks as well like online ordering and curb-side pickup, as well as shopping for you and delivery to your house. Regulars will also tell you about how incredible their sub sandwiches are (they have a station inside each store that makes them all to order while you wait). This is a great Publix on its own. Large layout, plenty of parking and multiple exits from the plaza. They always have a large selection of local items too - which I particularly enjoy. My FAVORITE thing about this location though is their curbside pickup with instacart. The app is so easy to use, and Publix completed the shopping quickly and accurately. I love it! read more

Very nice and friendly place to come find your grocery such as dairy, meats of all kinds, frozen food, coffee, bakery and so much more for the customer even a Pharmacy on site as well. The attitude from the Publix employees are really nice I couldn't find something a very nice young lady offered to help and she helped me find Fuji Water since i never been to this Publix before on this side of Valrico/Lithia area. Deli/Sandwich Department: Every time I come to get a sandwich there's rude service like no one wants to help costumers, I put in an order online for a Cuban sandwich to avoid ISSUES its in writing I was supposed to pick up at 2:10 pm and there was no sandwich made yet, and I see a lady making a sandwich and about 4-5 other employees that decided to ignore me like I wasn't standing there, another gentleman came and was served before me, finally I stood in front of the sandwich lady with tattoos, she's preparing my sandwich and says " I' don't have Cuban bread" she looked around and found a half piece but looked miserable preparing the sandwich, I saw the manager come in and I should of told her in front of everyone how bad the service is lacking, as soon as the manager walked in everyone was shaking a leg funny, how can you mess up a pick up order . read more

Listen here, you need to give your young and inconsiderate employees better instructions on how to make customers feel safe from COVID-19. Now every store in the country try has made various accommodations to keep people 6 feet apart, including your store. While I am thankful for the efforts thus far, they tend to be done in vain if your employees decide to just zip right in front of you without giving you a chance to get out of the way, or perhaps yielding the right a way to the customer. I and neither do anyone else want to come within 6 feet of these people. I will be shopping with a body style camera from here on out and if something happens to me, you can expect a lawsuit of sorts. read more

Worst publix ive ever been too !!! Didn't have anything I wanted and food was straight cold!!! Watermelon was white and dried up !! There's 5 employees in the deli and 2 running sand which station and I was 2nd in line and no one greeted me or told me they would be with me in a minute ! I waited and waited and was being ignored ! all I wanted was boars head pickles and they acted like they never heard of it in their life ! Publix has been a real let down. The produce is moldy, there prices are much too high. They intentionally place the bad spots on their produce on the bottom so no one can see it and spend their money on something they can't use. I am not going to shop at Publix. Now, in two weeks, not in my life. You lost three customers out of my family Publix! Fix your produce and prices and maybe you will win us back or at least not lose more people than you already have. read more

I shop thru Insta Cart with Publix because of schedule and being handicap walking limited. Each time, I've encountered a problem with this relationship and the answer from Publix is "There is nothing we can do", Insta Cart is a separate company. Insta Cart on the other hand says the same of Publix. How convenient for the two of them. I will never use either again. We spend over a $1000.00 a month with Publix and I expected better service than this! read more

This Publix has recently gone under reconstruction and a rearrangement of isles. They remodeled the bakery and fresh produce area. This remodeling has made this Publix even more inviting than it was before. I typically visit this Publix once every other week and it is well kept and very clean. Anything you would expect from a grocery store is fulfilled by this store. Not to mention there is always BOGO's. They also have a great beer selection with a lot of different types of craft beer, which is extraordinary for a grocery store. read more
