Excellent, excellent, excellent!…read more I came here with my family on a holiday (due to my student's high recommendation). We ordered the FAMILY PLATTER with chicken shawarma. My son ordered half a chicken with rice and hummus on the side. We sat outside because the weather was glorious. It was excellent! I will be coming back as soon as I can.

We ordered and immediately noticed that the place was full of people with numbers on their tables and no food, so we were prepared for a wait. We definitely did wait. It took about 20 minutes to get our food after we ordered. We were in no hurry, so it wasn't really a huge deal. We both ordered bowls. I got a chicken kofta bowl with rice, hummus, and cucumbers. My boyfriend got the lamb kofta bowl with rice, baba ganoush and salad. When our food arrived, the lamb came out with my sides and the chicken came out with my boyfriend's sides. It's an easy fix as we just swapped koftas, but this really should not have happened. Our first impression was slow service and orders not correct, so it was not the best start. The food was delicious, though. We both enjoyed our koftas. In fact, I would order the chicken again and again. The hummus had the best texture. The salad was exceptional. The baba ganoush was the star of the show. Would get it again and again. The rice is delicious. I would come back for the food. The service needs a little work.

I get hot and extra hot- perfectly spicy without regret. The building is modern and the vibe is clean and comfy room for groups or just yourself. I love this place HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Any time I'm in temple terrace I come here.

I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.

The dining area was fresh and clean with a few customers. I tried the chicken Philly and the chicken gyro . The service was great and made my ordering easy. The lady at the counter that waited on us seemed a bit bored & perhaps unhappy to be there. So she was not a good first impression for us, lol. I ordered a beef shawarma & a side of fried mushrooms to share. I admit fried mushrooms are not exactly a common item given a Med menu. When they arrived I had to laugh. We received a large bowl with what looked like golden golfballs. These were literally large mushrooms that had been deep fried. There is no way these were healthy, but they tasted good line State Fair food, lol. The shawarma was surprisingly good for a fast food joint. The beef was of decent quality & the tehina sauce was tasty. Overall, not a bad experience.
