Chicken Kofta bowl with rice and hummus
    Kelly T.

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile so glad we finally did. The restaurant is bright and spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. We ordered and immediately noticed that the place was full of people with numbers on their tables and no food, so we were prepared for a wait. We definitely did wait. It took about 20 minutes to get our food after we ordered. We were in no hurry, so it wasn't really a huge deal. We both ordered bowls. I got a chicken kofta bowl with rice, hummus, and cucumbers. My boyfriend got the lamb kofta bowl with rice, baba ganoush and salad. When our food arrived, the lamb came out with my sides and the chicken came out with my boyfriend's sides. It's an easy fix as we just swapped koftas, but this really should not have happened. Our first impression was slow service and orders not correct, so it was not the best start. The food was delicious, though. We both enjoyed our koftas. In fact, I would order the chicken again and again. The hummus had the best texture. The salad was exceptional. The baba ganoush was the star of the show. Would get it again and again. The rice is delicious. I would come back for the food. The service needs a little work.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I came here with my family on a holiday (due to my student's high recommendation). We ordered the FAMILY PLATTER with chicken shawarma. My son ordered half a chicken with rice and hummus on the side. We sat outside because the weather was glorious. It was excellent! I will be coming back as soon as I can.

We came here right around opening. The workers greeted us as soon as we came in and was very friendly. He let us know that it takes about an hour for the oven to heat up so it would be a while for our feteer since we had gotten there so close to opening. We got one of their fresh squeezed juices and waited and it was worth the wait. The feteer was delicious! Maybe because we were there in the morning, there wasn't much of a "show" at the oven but it was still fun to watch it being made. The prices were reasonable as well and the restaurant was very clean.

I've been wanting to come to the Dough Show for ages. And the food did not disappoint. I was a little surprised it was set up more like a fast food restaurant as far as ordering, but the quality of the food is definitely there. The service is quick and efficient. The babaganoush and falafel were spot on. The Egyptian pizza did not disappoint. And the burger was pretty tasty. Between two of us, we still had plenty of food to take home.

Great food today! We had the chicken kofte platter and the mixed shawarma platter. The rice is delicious- meat all good! The hummus, salad, tabouli and baba ganough all good- just a little heavy with the lemon on the salads. The service was friendly and nice. I love the pizza fire oven and the ambiance great! This food is authentic and yum- try it out!

The Dough Show is very impressive. It's definitely more of a lunch spot, but I came for dinner and still had a great experience. The doughy fateer was amazing!! This was my first time trying something like this, and it really exceeded my expectations. The dough was warm and fluffy, super cheesy, and filled with chicken and vegetables. I'm honestly craving it right now. The chicken and beef rice platter was also very good. Surprisingly, the rice itself wasn't my favorite, but I think it would have been much better with some sauce mixed in. Overall, I would definitely come back again.

I've been going to this place since they opened near USF. Great food with authentic flavors. I really like their branding and atmosphere. Food came out fast. They have a lot of specials throughout the week as well as student discounts.

After our concert at the Yuengling Center ended around 10:15 pm, we were looking for a late dinner spot and came across The Dough Show. We called ahead and ordered the Chicken Shawarma Bowl and the Chicken Kofta Bowl. When we reached the restaurant, our to-go order was ready in about 5-10 minutes. At home, we enjoyed the bowls along with sides of Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, Salad, and Coleslaw. The chicken in both bowls was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and the sides paired well with the meal. Since we were hungry after the concert, the portions were filling and satisfying. Overall, the food was delicious, well-prepared, and perfect for a late-night dinner.

Food! Service! Ambiance! This place is amazing. Filled with people from all over the world, fun to watch them make the food and it's incredibly delicious! Fateer, shawarma, even the fries are delicious!

I would said this is Egyptian pizza. The name of dish in the store call it Savory Feteer. It is a dough with meat or sweet infilling. That is a must get items. The restaurant also has regular kababs. We got the dough show. It is almost a 14" pizza size. The infill is interesting. Ground beef, sausage and pastrami. It is good taste. I like the dough. I also like the cheese. Overall is good. Definitely is the new discovery item in Bay Area.

The Dough Show seems to consistently get good reviews, so perhaps I caught them on an off day, but service was very, confusingly, slow - my wife's bowl came out 15 minutes before mine, and her beef was served cold. There was no ice in the soda machine, had to ask for silverware. Food was just okay - seems like any place called The Dough Show, should include a pita w/any entree. Dining room was nice & tidy, and clearly required significant investment.

Honestly, this place is filled with delicious, high-quality food and even better hospitality! We're visiting from out of town, found it online, and are so glad we did. If we lived here, this would absolutely be a place we'd come back to often. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Come support this place--you won't be disappointed!

I used the self order kiosk to order a falafel wrap and fries with a bottle of water. The team members here were cool and showed a lot of hospitality. The dough show will probably be getting more of my dough because the food was really good. Ambiance of the establishment is very clean and new. Oh and the Strawberry Tira Misu is bussinnnnn! Go spend some dough at the dough show, yo stomach will thank you!

They were also out of the crab egg roll, out of sweet tea, and out of lettuce in which we like to wrap the bulgogi. We ordered mandu, it was good but a little bit doughy because of the wrap they use, not as crispy as we would expect. I ordered the dolsot bibimbop. Mine came out first and was sizzling hot. No complaints, the egg had a runny yolk which means it was not overcooked like many I have had in the past. The bibimbop sauce is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Waitress brought out banchans, there were six different types, pickled eggplant, nori, broccoli, kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Son ordered pork bulgogi. The plate was heaping with pork, and the sauce was nice and thick and stuck to the pork. Spouse ordered beef bulgogi and it took about 10 minutes for his to come out after our son and I had our meals. The plate was heaping, but spouse said the beef was a little bland, but some of the bibimbop sauce took care that. Son and spouse took leftovers with them. We were kind of disappointed in the items they did not have, but the lady waiting on us was nice and we realize they are a small business and when things are busy, it is easy to run out. The interior was a little dark, did not go to the restroom so cannot comment on the cleanliness but what we did see looked clean.

The exterior of the building was nothing to brag about, but the interior was neat, well laid out, and clean. The owners of the restaurant were up front to greet dinners. The waitress was prompt and attentive. Mirage features a lunch buffet, so I was able to sample small portions of a lot of offerrings. My first plate was filled with selections from the cold salad station (hummas, pita, Persan picket, baba ganosh, etc.). The entree station had four different rice (balas) preparations. There was Basmati rice, a savory rice and two of the balas were sweetened with fruit and spices. All were tasty. The proteins were primarily chicken selections, but there was a beef koobideh that was also delicious. There were a broad selection of lentil and vegetable stews, so I made multiple trips to the station eating them as a side dish to a protein, over basmati rice and savory rice preparations. It may have been a cultural fax paux, but I treated the falafel like a cornbread muffin as I enjoyed the stewed vegetables and lentils. It was a good meal polished off with a serving of baklava.
