Hard to get in and out of. Sometimes crowded. High priced bottled sodas.

First time at this spot, and my initial impression was positive. I would say, I love, love, love…read morethat they use Big Green Egg's inside the restaurant on the line. If you've never had meat (or VEGGIES!) cooked on a BGE, it will change your life. This fact alone will bring me back to try other things. Before I get into the meal, my only real complaint was that they only had a soda machine and tea. I had brought my mother along, and she already had lunch and wanted just to sit and chat. As it was a very cold day she was gonna order a coffee and they don't offer anything hot! It's definitely an opportunity to expand here even if it was just so simple as putting a Keurig machine in the back. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It is served with grilled chicken in a grilled wrap and cheddar cheese. If there was a buffalo sauce, I didn't taste any. I was a little disappointed in the wrap. The flavor didn't really stand out as being cooked on the Big Green Egg. The cheese wasn't really melted, which can be a common problem with shredded cheddar cheese, but it also didn't really have the buffalo flavor that I was looking for in a buffalo chicken wrap (maybe it was a Toledo Ohio wrap I don't know just not spicy. ) It served with a side of ranch which I juiced up with some Cholula and that helped. I i'm not knocking the quality of the food because it was good. It just didn't live up to the expectations I had in my head based on the menu description. It also came with a side, which I chose the broccoli salad. This was nicely done with bacon, I believe some quinoa and the broccoli was chopped up nicely so you didn't have huge chunks. Also, it wasn't overly sauced so that would make it runny. Overall I give the property four out five stars. Also, the flavor of the whole meal was fine. Good size portion and good value for your money.

I've been coming to Freddy's here in Tuscaloosa since it first opened, and while I've always had…read moresolid experiences, today was by far the best visit yet. I ordered the Freddy's Original Double, which I've had plenty of times before, but today it just hit different. The burger was cooked perfectly--fresh off the grill, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The toppings were spot on and balanced just right. When a burger is dripping with juices as you bite into it, you know it's done right. Nobody wants one of those dry, Sahara-desert burgers where you need a sip of water after every bite. This one definitely wasn't that. If the burgers are cooked like they were today every time, this place would be slam packed 24/7. The service was great too--quick turnaround, friendly smile at the register, and good food on a Sunday afternoon after church. I also noticed a Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich on the menu that looks like it might be fire, so I'll definitely be back soon to give that one a try. Great job today, Freddy's. Keep turning out burgers like that and you'll keep me coming back.

I will admit I was excited to go here based on the hype. So perhaps i was expecting too much. I…read morehad the patty melt. It tasted ok, though a bit salty. Fries were not hot (cool tbh) so that was disappointing. Service was excellent. And the vibe was a typical fast food place. All in all it was ok. Just not as good as i had hoped it would be. Kinda of just standard fast food place. Not bad but not great either

I went to a Whataburger in El Paso, Texas and was left the worst taste in my mouth (literally) and…read morenearly swore them off altogether. While driving through Tuscaloosa on my way to New Orleans I decided to stop off and grab something to eat. I saw this location and made the decision to give them one more try. I'm happy I did. To think that the Whataburger in Alabama would be better than in Texas is insane to me...but it's also true. Large and clean inside and the employees I spoke to were all helpful and friendly. I got a double cheeseburger meal with fries and a drink and got the regular ketchup as well as their spicy ketchup for the fries. The first thoughts from the burger was that it was heavy on mustard. I personally enjoy mustard so that wasn't a big deal for me but if you don't...order it lite or on the side. I ended up dipping both the burger and the fries in the spicy ketchup by the end of it. I enjoyed the flavor of the spicy ketchup a lot but depending on your tolerance, you may not find it very spicy. I found it to have zero heat personally. The fries were crispy and tasty, definitely salted but not to the point that it was too much. They also had zero sugar lemonade and unsweetened iced tea so I was able to make a no sugar Arnold Palmer and that made me happy. I'd stop here again for sure. THIS Whataburger location - Didn't Suck!
