Architecturally it representative of period Colonial Style. Graham had John Davidson, Alexander Brevard and Peter Forney as business partners. Forney and Brevard are French Huguenot names and there is considerable intermarriage between the families. This is a venue normally used for Weddings and other gathering. I've been twice and my wife has been many more times because this is the site of annual Vesuvius Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Very elegant and a great piece of history. So when I travel overnight for myself, lodging must be excellent. If I am in the Lincolnton area that is a simple choice. The White Rose Manner! Allison and John are attentive hosts, all to willing to assist in making your stay what you need it to be. Allison is an accomplished cook that can accommodate your dietary needs if she is made aware. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. I tend, if there in the early evening, to play a game of chess with John, who also is an accomplished D&D dungeon master. Conversation is always pleasant, the grounds take you away from traffic, PowerPoint presentations and if you choose to turn it off (I do) cell phone calls. I arrive, get to relax in a wonderful environment, take care of what brought me to the area, then relax some more. You can find me some weekends in a chair by the fireplace, with an adult beverage lost in the thoughts deep and emotionally satisfying a result of the environment created by the hosts. The parking was fine but maybe needed some clarity as there was a restaurant and post office adjacent to the lot. It's a gravel lot basically with no clear signage. Not a big issue but FYI. There's a handful of places to visit within walking distance for eating and shopping. Very small town feel. Inside the office, the receptionist welcomed me and was new but friendly and professional. She helped me get set up on the app (still a work in progress) and gave me a quick tour. The big main spaces were already reserved but the phone booth space was adequate to my needs. The internet speed was decent but there was no ethernet cable for direct connection. The common kitchen area was clean and beverages were available as well as small snacks. Terry, the director for the space, was very helpful in troubleshooting issues with billing and reservations. Pricing was also reasonable for a one-day pass. Military veteran pricing is available. If I came to the city more often, I'd get a subscription because it's very close and isn't overcrowded like some co-working spaces.

He drove with the utmost of Caution as Safety was his first concern. He picked up all the guests on his beautiful 40 Passenger bus. He played music and we all sang to Neil Diamond Sweet Caroline. At the end of the affair instead of making the additional guests above 40 to wait until the bus came back he had a second bus there to escort the entire wedding party back to the Hotel all at once.
