It was the first venue that they looked at, and no other one could compare. The arbor by the pond was a beautiful setting for their ceremony and the reception hall is perfect for a mid size wedding. Rita will take the time to answer every question and see to it that every small detail on the wedding day is perfect. Many of our guests commented on what a beautiful place this was for a wedding.... I am sure the venue played a huge part in making the wedding I attended there as magical as it was. The location- The venue was built on acreage in the middle of no where. That is not bad thing. It is convenient to get and not far off the beaten path but the land it sits on it unspoiled by development . This setting would be impossible to duplicate in an urban area surrounded by buildings and visual city noise. The grounds- they provide a copious amount of parking at the top of the campus. We had parking attendants guiding us to or place to park. From the parking area we immediately got a panoramic view of the vast space in its unobstructed entirety. As we walked past the inside indoor building we signed a guest book and proceeded to "The Garden" for the ceremony. The grass around the inside areas and under the tents was dark green pure fescue. The grass and the landscaping was perfectly manicured. The grass in the garden area was neatly mowed all the way to the pond on the far end of the property. The combination of hills, trees, and evening sky created a backdrop impossible to recreate by man. They had a fire pit burning beside the cocktail area that was tastefully done and surrounded by white wooden adirondack chairs. There wasn't a single area on the grounds that needed attention. The inside space- the large inside venue space provides a versatile area for your event. The inside offers over 3000 square feet of space. The wedding I attended used this area for the reception. It had retractable doors on the side that opened up to a huge tent area. There was the buffet area and dining tables. The main inside space also hosted the DJ and the dance floor. The inside area has a caterer's area. They have bride's suite upstairs and a groom's area that are apart from each other. The lighting, setup, decor, colors, and everything about the inside area is opulent. The bar- they have created a bar area with a large deck area. The bartender area is covered and well lit. The rest of the deck area is open and doesn't obstruct the view. The wedding setup- we walked to "The Garden" area where we saw a wedding arch embellished with beautiful flowers and white fabric. A grassy aisle divided 200 white folding chairs arranged in rows. The landscape was gradually going downhill and ending at a large pond at the base of the woods. Before we entered the seating area we passes the stringed musicians playing the preservice music. They continued to play until us guests made our way to our table assignment. During the cocktail hour the wedding pictures were made. The sun was setting in the background creating a picturesque moment. The venue has also created several photo-perfect areas for wedding photographers. We stayed till the very end. The rural darkness created a great sendoff as the newlyweds left us as we lined up and lit sparklers. Click on the photos and expand them for a truer picture.

Parking is challenging because we had to park on the grass but the event did a great job parking the cars. The grounds are clean and full of life. When you pull up and par, you're greeted by two brown and tan mini horses. They also have a few ducks roaming around. The pond is nice and they even have podiums around the pond for guests to sit drinks on top of or you can pose for a selfie. They also have rocking chairs stationed around the pond. It was an evening event and mosquitoes come out at night but the venue did a great job of placing tii torches with citronella around the grounds. I must say that this is a very nice and clean venue. If you're looking for a nice place to host an event, this may be your place to check out.

I'll be there first to tell you that I am not the planning type, so this was right up my alley. A quick phone call, some emails and a shared Pinterest board and were in business. All we had to do was get the marriage license and decide where we would go for dinner afterwards. Charity and Megan are phenomenal! They're so sweet, professional, responsive, and have more resources than you could ask for. They are so accommodating, and even send reminders to keep you on track. I couldn't have wished for a better team to handle my wedding!! The first time I actually met Charity was as I was walking into the hall to get married and it felt like we were old friends. All of the details were perfect. The decorations, my bouquet, and boutonnières were absolutely stunning!! The ceremony was warm and intimate and our family and friends have still been talking about it a month later. We received our pictures today and I am blown away!! Charity and her team caught the essence of our love and brought me to tears. She captured the love and joy and I am so thankful we will have these printed memories forever! For those who feel shy or uncomfortable in-front of the camera - like me, I like to be behind it rather. Her spunky attitude and up-beat personality makes you forget there is even a camera involved. She delivers what she promised. Photos are ready 30-days after the shoot and the quality of her pictures are nothing but consistent. Charity's skills and talent speak for themselves. Her visual signature is consistent and that is what I was looking for, as an Architect my eye is very critical on details like that and having a uniform portfolio directly relate values and quality of their product. She also offers cakes and bouquet services as part of their packages - nothing like a non-stop shop. We have not booked her for those, but if you follow the elopement company on Instagram, you won't be disappointed by what she can provide. Every detail is tailored to what you want it to be. When we had first toured the venue we were told that the base price was 7900 which included the day of one hour rehearsal, and set up of tables for reception and ceremony when we had toured the venue it was a seemingly nice venue, family owned and very communicative. After we had chosen this venue for our wedding day and put down our deposit we were then told that we would not be able to schedule our wedding rehearsal until the week of the wedding, this came as a shock since we were not told this when we had first toured the venue. As time went on, I would frequently message and email the person I had toured with which was Kerry the woman who owns the venue. Whenever I reached out or asked a question there was a very late response, short response or no response at all. The only time that the people from the venue were responsive was when it came to money. Also, when it came to money, they recommended that we paid everything in cash in which we did I would follow up, always asking for some sort of receipt or documentation in which they never provided any. Finally, when the wedding came, we were able to book the rehearsal a few days before the wedding. We also had to do our bar services through the venue since they do not let you provide your own alcohol or your own bartenders. You have to do a package through the venue. The day of the wedding was fine, but there were a few things that I would like to note. The bar staff came right before the bar opened at seven and nothing was prepared. They served warm beer and barely had any mixers. The wedding guest complained about the drinks, the service and the lack of accommodation. For example, we had to provide our own water so my mom went and bought 6/7 cases of water which they did not give to guests so at the end of the night she just ended up taking them home. The father of the groom even went up to order at one point and was not serviced right away, even though there were three bartenders and no one in line for the bar. For bar services we paid over $6000 for three hours of open bar for 150 guests. I also want to note that prior to the wedding. I had reached out to Cody (son of Kerry) who also works for the venue and asked if the caterer that we hired would be able to serve beer/wine which he had quickly responded with a yes, when the day of the wedding came, the bartender said they would not be able to give the beer or wine to the waitresses due to, the possibility of it being served to people under 21. Also, during the ceremony we had popped some confetti made out of paper. Quickly after the manager, that was there came up to some of our guests/ wedding party that had popped the confetti and had asked them to immediately clean it up rather than asking them to do it at least by the end of the day. There was also a situation with the projector, not working. We had made a slideshow to show our guest and the projector was not working properly. After the wedding, I followed up with the venue to let them know about my experience which I spoke with the owner and she had excuses for why she was absent and just reiterated how great their venue is despite our experience. I'm writing this review to warn others who are looking into finding a venue for their special day. I would not recommend working with this venue, considering they are unresponsive, not accommodating, sketchy. Not sure who all this situation is relatable for but I hope no one else has to experience this type of unprofessional service.

We used Tina for full wedding planning 18 mos prior to my daughter's wedding. She fell short of our…read moreexpectations on several levels. 1. First, the pros: She was pleasant and it was very helpful that she knew the venue and caterer well and worked there often (we had selected both prior to hiring her.) Since we lived out of town, our availability for in person meetings with vendors was challenging. We appreciated that she was able to schedule our tasting with the caterer during their busy season (not typically done.) She also worked regularly with the Entertainment company (suggested by her) and she was a helpful in communicating our concerns days before the wedding. Aesthetically her design suggestions were quite nice. 2. Now the cons: during planning she often took several weeks to respond to emails. I gave her the benefit of the doubt (our event was months away and she is a one-woman operation.) However, her communication was still unacceptably slow in the few months before the wedding - and on the wedding day when numerous calls went unanswered. When problems arose, I had trouble finding her during the cocktail hour/reception. 3. She didn't check invoices from vendors. Had I not reviewed the floor plan and personally counted all of the tables/sizes, I would have overpaid for the linens by nearly 50%. 4. We wanted a carnival-type claw machine (mentioned in our first interview.) Four months before the wedding, she said she was not able to find one. With 15 minutes searching online my daughter easily found a vendor. Apparently, Tina didn't even do a simple Google search. She was able to suggest vendors, but only if she had previously worked with them. Several florists Tina recommended were not a good fit for my daughter's vision. Ultimately my daughter found a florist herself who was perfect. 5.Tina used Aisle Planner to create a seating chart with numbered seat positions for every table, which I carefully completed. Sadly every guest's seat (except the head table) was in the wrong place. We put significant time and effort into creating our seating plan, taking into account family member's proximity to the bride/groom, guests sitting next to friends, elderly guests being farther away from loud music, who had the best view, etc. REALLY frustrating to discover that more than 100 guests were in the wrong place. 6.At least one name on the escort wall (very expensive custom-made item) was misspelled. It's unclear whether Tina provided the vendor with the wrong spelling or they made the mistake. Only Tina had direct contact with the vendor, and she has refused communication after the wedding to clarify. 7. We rented an Audio Guest book (old fashioned phone) to record personal messages from wedding guests. At the end of the cocktail hr I was told it wasn't working and I quickly notified Tina. It was finally working 3 hours into the evening. Follow up communication from the company proved the device was never turned on, despite clear and simple instructions in the box. I'm sure Tina must realized it was not turned on, but she never explained or apologized for the mistake. 8. Tina failed to keep us on the timeline she helped create. Some of that was due to family speeches/toasts going longer than planned and we took full responsibility for that. She failed on numerous other elements of the timeline: ceremony started 10 min late even though the wedding party was staged & waiting for 45 min beforehand, after the ceremony the bride and groom were kept back by the photographer/videographer much longer than scheduled, and guests were ushered from cocktails to reception 25 min late despite bars being closed at the end of the cocktail hour. 9. She NEVER ONCE asked about bouquet preservation during our 18+ mos of planning. My daughter intended to preserve her bouquet and booked a vendor 6 mos in advance, unfortunately we forgot to mention it to Tina. After the wedding Tina left the bouquet inside a plastic bin that she knew we weren't permitted to pick up until 2 days after the wedding. Had she even thought to ask me at the conclusion of the reception I would have taken the bouquet with me. As our FULL wedding planner, this is a huge failure! Our event was 130 guests, six figures and at the upper end of the price range she typically handles for full wedding planning (per info she provided in our initial interview.) The evening had numerous surprises and unconventional elements, which Tina was aware of weeks to months in advance. It's my opinion that she was over her head coordinating the many details, was understaffed on the wedding day and was unable to handle everything. In our initial interview she said she brings 1-2 assistants on the wedding day. No idea whether she brought help since she never introduced me to anyone else. If your event is pretty standard, doesn't have complicated details, and you're okay with limited and/or slow communication, Tina's probably fine, but check all invoices and quantities carefully!!
