The restrooms are old fixtures, but still well cared for. My only comment would be don't fall for the marketing to get the premium pull through site. I did that, but all of the sites are easy to accessible, and the premium one is right up front by the front gate, so all the traffic goes by. The sites further back are much more private, much more tree, and cheaper. Still, all in all, a good place. It is right off the highway, but that's to be expected.

Some unique features in that they have small 'pens' situationed at some of the sites in case you would rather put your dog in a pen as to tying him up. Nice walking path along the river. But my favorite was that the BBQs at the sites are in pristine condition. We stayed only one night so we didn't get the opportunity to grill, but we would have had no problem grilling without first having to clean the grill! Highly recommend a stop if you travel that way!

They provided us with a big map of Wyoming as soon as we told them we were headed to Yellowstone the next day. They only accept cash or check so make sure you bring either. We paid $21 total for one night tent with warm shower included. The bathrooms are nice and kept clean. There are 8 total showers in the communal bathrooms with 2 shower curtains for extra privacy. The water heated up fast so no complaints there. They also have a Laundromat. The only 'downside' (if you could call it that) is that it got fairly windy during our stay with winds up to 30mph. Since it is fairly close to the mountains it was expected and the owner told us to pitch our tent by their wooden fence for more comfort from the winds. Also, we were greeted by 4 small deer at around 10pm so if you don't like that then maybe you can look for a campsite within the city of Buffalo since this campground is about 5 minutes drive down highway 16. A tip is if you leave early (5am) and head towards Yellowstone you can catch some roaming elk along the way. I would definitely recommend this campground. From the friendly owners to the quiet atmosphere and great bathrooms it really doesn't get much better than this if you are looking for a quick place to stay on your way to Yellowstone. Just make sure you check in before 9pm since that's when the office closes and they don't allow self check-in.

The septic tank overflowed and they no longer have bathrooms or showers and do not notify guests of this. They got portapotties instead but they were so full you couldn't sit down without touching waste. The wifi is also out, so what are you paying for that you couldn't get at free dispersed camping??

Danette the manager is very friendly. We did not use or look at the restroom/showers or other facilities. We were in 40' 5er. I walked to town every day. The museum is is nice and the people working there even better. Be sure to get a map to The Hole in the Wall Gang Valley/hideout. It is well worth the drive...beautiful. If there in summer there is a rodeo across street from campground. Coffee shop in town is cute and has great baked goods. I didn't try the coffee.

Finally find the place and no one in office !! I was stopped from leaving when some guy said to check in on a i- pad on the desk, spent twenty minutes trying to fill out all info including payment info , wasn't easy as the i pad kept switching pages back and forth , finally finished and parked in our assigned spot! About two hours later a knock on the door and a woman said she was the manager and accused me of not registering or paying, how friggin rude! I told her that i did and her piece of crap i pad was a bear to try and work, she copped an attitude and started in with all her woke. Bullshit , i finally yelled at her to shut up and do the. Damn paperwork as I didn't need to hear her crap! I am over 80 years old and don't do well with all this woke crap !
