Ronja and her balloon-twisting assistant, Sage, were a fantastic addition to my son's 10th birthday party this month.

I would recommend this specific location to families wanting to experience Keiki Kingdom. We've…read morebeen here twice with our 6 kids and it's always been younger children playing which is a relief from the other location which allows older children and teens to participate on the second floor to which they do not always stay. The parking is good. It's fenced in which may seem suspicious but I'm sure it's an attempt to protect its customers and the business. This location had everything operating during our visit. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the business is very clean. It's remarkably tidy in fact! Kudos to the staff. My kids enjoyed the slides the most. There is a lot for kids and toddlers to do here. There is one slide that I was concerned about where it's seemingly a straight drop but it's not but still my heart skips a beat when I think of a smaller child attempting to slide down it. So be warned. We visit during off hours where we nearly get the place to ourselves! And for anyone wondering, they do offer military discount! I would highly recommend this Keiki Kingdom Location above all.

I spent $98 to bring my three kids to Keiki Kingdom on Beretania for two hours, and unfortunately…read morethe experience felt like a bait-and-switch. The lack of customer service started before we even entered the play area. At check-in, I asked for specific sock sizes for my children and was met with complete indifference. It set the tone for the entire visit. Many of the attractions and play areas advertised were either closed, broken, incomplete, or poorly maintained. The zipline course was closed for the first hour of our visit. The train table had zero trains. The princess play area was nearly empty, with no costumes and very few toys. The play kitchen was missing most of its accessories, with only a couple drawers containing play food, and the SMEG play refrigerator was broken. The overall maintenance was disappointing. Several play areas felt neglected, and some equipment appeared to have been out of service for quite some time rather than temporarily unavailable. There were even broken claw machines and other unused equipment sitting around the facility, giving parts of the space the feeling of a toy graveyard rather than a premium children's play center. The facility simply did not reflect what is advertised online. What frustrated me most was the lack of staff engagement. My child became stuck inside the jungle gym, and when I asked a staff member for help, she looked at me and walked away. Whether it was a language barrier, lack of training, or simply not caring, there was no attempt to assist. There were also strange setup choices that made the experience worse. A speaker for the projector was mounted directly above the play kitchen area, blasting audio into children's ears while they were trying to play there. For nearly $100, I expect a clean, well-maintained facility with functioning attractions, stocked play areas, and staff who are willing to help families. Instead, we found broken equipment, closed attractions, empty play stations, and indifferent customer service. I don't mind paying premium prices for a great experience. I do mind paying premium prices for an experience that feels neglected and significantly different from what is advertised. The biggest disappointment wasn't that one or two things were broken. It was that broken attractions, empty play areas, disengaged staff, and obvious maintenance issues all existed at the same time.

Reschedule policy was the same price as our individual package. Cancellation policy was more than the price of one of us. It's a very expensive policy. And they definitely don't care if you come back or not. I would not recommend. Seems like a bad idea to have very frustrating policies in place for a Rage Room. ;)

Tried Out a Rage Room for the First Time - Totally Worth It!…read more I've been hearing about this rage room for a while and finally decided to check it out. I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

There's also a reuse section by entrance selling used clothes, toys, books, baby & kids items that's cheaper than thrift stores! There's Rainforest Adventures room that has a cool hands on water works area. And a large toddler area. Upon entering there's a music play room. There's community and job sections like a diner, grocery store, fire station, auto shop, post office, police station, pet clinic. A jungle bridge, theater rooms & puppet play. There's a large fairy tale like reading room. Upstairs has a makeshift Hawaiian Airlines plane where kids can be pilots, passengers, or flight attendants. My kids spent a long time playing the different roles and seemed to be popular with all the kids there. The huge cargo shipz let the kids be captains and cargo crew with hard hats and pulley system. They can direct a sea movie and watch themselves on screen. At the very top floor is Your Rainbow World which has cultural play exhibits that are very Asian inspired but so much to do,, learn and play. The Discovery Center is a very immersive & fun place for kids. Drawback is limited hours & crowded weekends (bc only toddlers are available during week hours). Of course, my son absolutely loves it and I've noticed his confidence increase from working with the teachers here so we will continue to come back. Kelly was very helpful in explaining everything too, from the different nail polishes to all the cute accessories you can pick for your nails. You can choose to either do your natural nails or press-on nails. We picked the press-on nails, so we can keep them longer and wear them for special occasions! We also got some inspo and suggestions on the colors and decorations we can use. Kelly explained to us what we had to do with the nails, including putting on the base coats and what to do with each jewelries. She was so patience with us and even talked stories with us! We had so much fun just decorating our press-on nails together! After you're done, you can take cute pictures in their photobooth too! They provide props you can wear for the pictures and the lighting was just perfect! It's also BYOB, which will be perfect for a girl's night, bachelorette party or even a date! It's appointment only, so be sure to book your appointment now!

If you're looking for a unique fun experience in Waikiki, definitely check out Bejewel Your Nails!…read moreIt's centrally located in the Waikiki shopping plaza (same building as the Stix food hall) on the 3rd floor. They validate parking which is a huge plus since parking in Waikiki can be expensive/difficult to find. It's a super cute DIY nail shop with tons of Sanrio themed items. As soon as you walk in, there's super cute Sanrio backdrops to take photos in front of, Sanrio bags/merch for purchase, and you start your experience wearing hello kitty socks and slippers (optional but highly recommend). After you enter the shop, you can decide whether you want to do their basic package of gel nails + unlimited nail stickers or you can do their upgraded package to have unlimited charms and gems and sparkles. I recommend choosing their unlimited charm bar because they have so many cute items to decorate your nails with! The nail shop is a little different than your typical nail salon. Here, you'll choose your polish (they now have Japanese gel!) and then Kelly (the owner) will teach you how to apply the gel polish on yourself. That's right, it's all DIY but Kelly is a very good teacher. I don't like applying my own nail polish but I found the experience super easy with her guidance. Once you've decided on your nail colors, you can choose from a huge array of stickers or charms to decorate with. Depending on whether you're using the nail stickers or the charms will be a different process but both super simple. And since it's all gel polish, there's little wait time so you can enjoy your nails as soon as you're done! What a perfect way to start your vacation in Oahu! Oh, and the best part? It's BYOB so bring some bottles and your girlfriends and have an amazing time doing your nails together! Kelly plays music for you in the shop but you can request to connect your phone to the Bluetooth speaker and play your own jams! Overall, it's a super cute and fun experience so I would recommend to check it out!

The Waikiki Aquarium - is affordable, and focuses on local sea life. I have been to many aquariums with all the same fish. Most of the sea life here are smaller such as fish, jellies, sea horses but they do have a rescue Hawaiian Monk Seal in a large outdoor area. I was 13 the first time I went to this aquarium with my grandparents and I was so captivated by the sea dragons - this was the first place I ever saw them. I still have the stuffed one they bought me on that visit. My boyfriend also commented that he enjoyed this aquarium because it is focused on the local sea life. They are currently having some construction to expand and add some additional exhibits but overall it was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend especially if you have younger children as it isn't a huge aquarium but alot of local sea life.
