We go to the go-karts, he says he's NOT tall enough. We go to the front to ask for a refund because the ticket is not usable for him. They give us a bunch of crap excuses about waiting for the manager. I've seen the reviews about the manager and I'm not ready to speak to Amy. They consider giving us 19$ and they immediately change their minds and make up the most BS excuses. Terrible maintenance, rude service, exspensive, and not worth it! Don't come here. Majority of the vendors that are regulars didn't have anything set up last night. I was hoping to pick up some houseplants but the vendor wasn't there. Guess with the heat, it's not good for the plants to be out. Rightfully with that. But it did seem like the food area did have more vendors compared to what I've seen before. Usually walking along the strip, it tends to be packed with vendors and shoppers but the past few weeks, not so many. Summer tends to be quiet as people do leave town. The snowbirds going back to Canada. Even restaurants close for the summer season. Same with the vendors here, some comes every other week while there's still the regulars that comes every week. Small local vendors trying to get their product out there. They have the locals vendors that I frequent for my baked goods and sweets. It's a nice little shopping and food area that's great for a Thursday night. Restaurant and shops do open a little later for the event. It was quite hot last night so a lot of vendors weren't out. But once it starts to cool down again, it'll get busier.

We both had king sized beds with huge closets and a bathroom to share between the bedrooms. The small seating area with couch and a small dining table with 4 chairs was between the bedrooms in front of the bathroom. The kitchenette included a medium sized fridge/freezer and sink with a Keurig coffee maker. It would have been better if they added a small microwave as well, I felt it was the only thing missing. My room with the balcony facing the street also had a wireless charger and sound machine. What a great touch. My friend took the front bedroom with the view of the pool. Both bedrooms had TVs and ceiling fans. The robes were also perfect! I brought my own hotel slippers. Pool area lacked a little bit more of shade but that's a personal preference. It's so nice that the pool and hot tub was open 24/7! The pool bar is so nice to have for a smaller resort like this. It definitely made our experience better! We didn't get to try the restaurant on site but will definitely check it out next time because we're already planning our next stay! Shout out to Sierra for being such a sweet hostess!

This was the proposed hotel for a friend's birthday weekend. Based on the photos, it didn't appear…read moreto be a place we needed to be particularly concerned about--it looked like it would at least meet the basic necessities for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the experience was far below even those expectations. After a long drive, we arrived for check-in and were told that the AC in our suite was not working and that we would instead be placed in separate rooms. Since we were traveling together, we were not comfortable being separated. The front desk associate was also extremely rude and told us that because the manager had moved us, she could not place us in another room comparable to what we originally booked. She said the only option was separate one-bedroom rooms. We asked to speak with the manager, and once he became involved, he immediately instructed the front desk to put us into another room--apparently a two-bedroom room was available after all. I'm still not sure why we were initially told that wasn't an option. Unfortunately, the problems continued once we got into the room. I found visible stains on the sheets, and there was a large, dark footprint on one of the supposedly fresh towels. I have stayed in hotels, Airbnbs, and even on cruise ships, and I have never experienced a situation where the basic linens provided were visibly dirty. I immediately reported the sheets and towel to the staff. When the sheets were finally replaced, the replacement set was also dirty. At that point, I gave up and slept on top of the sheet rather than continuing to ask for replacements. They also only provided one sheet, so I had to wear additional clothes that I had packed with my pajamas just to stay warm. The response time was also frustrating. It took roughly an hour from when the issue was reported for someone to come replace the sheets. I also saw the staff member carrying the linens by hand rather than using a cart, and the linens appeared to be coming up from the stairs, which did not exactly give me confidence in the cleanliness or handling of the bedding. Then there was the hot water--or lack thereof. We essentially had COLD WATER for our showers. This was not an isolated issue; other members of our group staying at the property experienced the same problem. Over our three-to-four-day stay, there was maybe one hot shower available between the three of us. Hot water is a basic expectation at a hotel, and having consistently cold showers was completely unacceptable. I previously worked in property management, and a lack of hot water would be treated as an emergency maintenance issue. That made it even more concerning to see this treated as though it were a minor inconvenience. I have stayed at properties throughout the U.S. and internationally, as well as on cruise ships, and I have never experienced this combination of issues during a stay. We dealt with a room change due to broken AC, dirty sheets, dirty towels, inadequate linen replacement, extremely slow response to a cleanliness issue, and essentially no hot water. This was supposed to be a birthday weekend, and instead, we spent a significant portion of the stay dealing with issues that should have been resolved before guests ever entered the room. The experience fell well below what I consider basic hotel standards, and I would not choose to stay here again.

A paper map is provided post payment to help navigate the grounds. I recommend sunscreen as a majority of the viewing takes place outside and the sun tends to beat down. Onsite there are a variety of large tortoises in specialty spots enjoying their environment. At the end of the garden, there is a nursery where plants can be purchased along with gardening trinkets. For the value, this is one to not miss! I've been coming here for years since I was a little girl and I enjoy the fact that Moorten sticks to their roots and have kept the layout the same allowing me to feel nostalgia each time I visit. I noticed a few birds singing happily in their enclosure. Benches are available when a break from the afternoon heat becomes necessary. A slow & serene stop in Palm Springs.

First off, I love the concept of free admission on Thursday. That sure brought people in to see what this place has to offer. We got tickets for the free admission night. It's great way to enjoy the place and then you can go to the village fest market right afterwards. There's parking in the covered parking structure across the street but there's a couple of parking lots all nearby. The entrance has a beautiful sculpture in front with the mountain as a backdrop. It was really busy last night with the free ticket and the heatwave. People wanted to be inside. I was surprised to see how big it was inside. Main part is three story with art and sculpture on all three lever. Each room showcase some beautiful artwork by artists from everywhere. Some unique pieces, amazing and beautiful sculpture, light fixtures and pieces that you wonder how they came up with that. I don't know how often pieces get replaced but I think some are permanently home here. Top floor was my favorite as it had some amazing sculptures and a nice collection of Andy Warhol pieces. Also they had a little game going on for kids when they checked in. I think anyone could have played but it was like a scavenger bingo hunt. Nice to have kids interacting with art. All the staff were very friendly and sweet. If you had any questions, they were there for you. Of course there's a gift shop inside. From the outside we noticed that they had a little eating area in the lower lever. I think it could be a cafe with the tables set up around a nice pool feature. The museum is beautiful and great for an afternoon out. Do try to take advantage when it's free admission on Thursday so you can check it out.
