I was able to purchase discount tickets on Groupon which we were able to use on this new release movie. You can reserve t Your seat online, but there is a $2 per ticket fee. I decided to just go to the theater to purchase the tickets to avoid paying the fees, but at the theater I was still charged $4.50 total for a Groupon fee. There is no one working the ticket booth in the front of the theater, so you have to go to the concession stand to purchase your ticket if you didn't do so already online. A large bucket of popcorn was $12.99. We chose to watch the movie in standard definition versus 3D or IMAX 3D (this theater offers it). The seats in this theater are pretty worn and are in desperate need of refurbishing. The seating is tight compared to the reclining seats at some newer theaters. Overall, this is a functioning theater and gets the job done.

The Life of a ShowGirl Yes, for 3 days only (October 3rd-5th 2025), Taylor Swift had a release party in theatres where she broke down all 12 songs from her latest album showing behind the scenes looks and giving fans an inside look of each song and their meanings. Of course, the best part was showing every aspect of the making of her music video for her hit song: The Fate of Ophelia. The amount of detail, creativity, passion, and the dedication for absolute perfection truly showed why Taylor is a master of her craft and why she is a true Icon in the music industry. ----------------------------------- And here is how it went down... I had seen that this special release party was going to be released in theatre's at the same time that we were going to be visiting Palm Springs for the weekend so I secretly purchased tickets in advance to surprise my wife and 3 daughters. The day of the show, we drove from P.S. to La Quinta and made our way to the Century Theatre's. Once inside, We grabbed our popcorn, our candy, our Icee's and at 12:00 sharp, it was Showtime! Not really knowing what to expect about what we were about to watch, I was excited to see my 3 daughter's faces light up and watch how their eyes were glued to the Big Screen with anticipation. Fast forward to the end of the film... Wow.... Wow. Wow. Wow!!! Talk about Epic! I was so glad we were able to experience this on the big screen, it really gave insight to her album and a better appreciation of her talents and why we are fans. The Century La Quinta Theatre is top notch and made the experience memorable. Clean, premiere seating, and a great concession area... How going to the movies should be! So.... We are told our tickets are sold to someone who paid 8 dollars more for them. Like WTH is going on! How is this even a thing! We then are approached by the general manager and he has a list of seat that are available. Which of course they only had the 2 front row free. I can't even tell you when was the last time I ever sat in seats where my neck starting hurting! I was so so upset so embarrassed and disappointed on how this was handled! We also enjoyed seeing her father perform. I must say I look for the shows where it's mainly Jeff Hobson performing because he is so funny, so talented, and he has such incredible timing with quick wit that it literally tickles my brain. Arrive an hour prior to the show and enjoy the entertainment in the lobby. You can order something to drink from the bar. Just make sure you've made dinner plans before or after the show as there's no food available. You will be treated to either musical talent or magical talent prior to the main show in the auditorium. Choose the front row if you REALLY want to participate. Great for celebrating special occassions.

When I heard they would be at Marvyn's, I made sure to secure tickets. The theater is nicely laid out and makes for an intimate experience. They have entertainment before the start of the show and an amazing bar. I believe this show was sold out. In the seating area they have hilarious sayings on the screen over the stage. Wish I could remember them. Photography is forbidden in the theater. Anyhow, they are true entertainment professionals and know how to work the room. There were several things they did that we had our mind boggled. But we're the types who don't want to find out and rather like keeping the mystery intact. Amazing really doesn't begin to describe their show. We were beyond impressed. They kind and gracious to do a meet & greet after the show. It was a most enjoyable and magical evening!

Free to visit and you can enjoy the cactus garden and wander around the gardens. Museum and gift shop as well as cafe is on sites. But this visit, we took the tour of the Annenberg property. Tour is about 90 min and about 60.00 per person. They do recommend you come a little early to view and enjoy the main building where the cactus garden was but we were a little behind and made it right before the tour started. The tour host 7 person per guided tours. We start off at check in and then met with our guide, Hema. At the beginning you start off on the golf carts where your guide gives you an introduction to the family and the property. The gate into the main residence is around the corner from the public property. It's amazing to see how someone turned a barren desert landscape into an oasis. The brief cart ride to main door was quite nice. A massive golf property hidden in the desert. Once you approached the main property, it's welcomed by a massive water feature. A knock on the double doors lead you into the lobby of the house. Just walking into the property, it's a true MCM oasis. To find out the property only has just the primary bedroom was insane as it was massive. Theres no picture allowed inside but outside was fine. Hema, very detailed in everything she explained was very sweet and detail oriented. Walking through the different rooms and seeing all the amazing things collected by both Walter and Leonore Annenberg was quite interesting. The office which house all of Walter's work, pictures of family, friends and political figures. The different room that's in the main house, their amazing artwork which some are the original pieces. Then you have the way they lived, very elegantly. Each room had their own unique style. The designer and architect sure had their hands full with detail designed of everything on site. The furniture, one of a kind design with amazing embroidery. Walter had an amazing collection of artwork and sculptures. Seeing them throughout the house and the way it was displayed in different room of the house was spectacular. Even the kitchen was nice. Still fully functional as it's still used for summits. The outside alone is one in a million. The massive property with many lakes that is fully stocked for fishing. The golf course which is a golfers heaven. And then you have the pool with a million dollar view of the mountains as the backdrop. Not only the main house, there's the guest house which is utilized for guest. And they're know by different color rooms. And by that, it's fully decorated in the color palette. That building also all looks out to the pool and mountain. Leonore, with her favorite color yellow also had a rose garden designed in the property. The tour lets you inside the lives of the Annenberg and the amazing lives they've lived. Housing major political figures, celebrities and the amazing parties had. The massive art collection and endless photos of everyone, it was a sight to see. This is a tour worth checking out and learning about the Annenberg. Plus, Hema our tour guide was excellent.

The tours were either sold out or had one spot available. There were 2 of us. I would recommend purchasing tickets online before you arrive to Palm Springs because of the popularity of the tours. You cannot purchase tickets by phone, email or in person. There are no waitlists either. We walked among the garden area, visited the small but great gift shop, watched the movie about Sunnylands and viewed the current exhibition. The next time we're in the Palm Springs area I will definitely plan ahead and purchase tickets way in advance.

The concert was absolutely beautiful we truly fell in love all over again, as the music touched our souls and brought back so many emotions. The McCallum Theatre is a stunning venue spotless, very well organized, and filled with warmth. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was kind, courteous, and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more special. This was our second time visiting the theatre, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. We genuinely love coming here and look forward to many more unforgettable nights.
