The concert was absolutely beautiful we truly fell in love all over again, as the music touched our souls and brought back so many emotions. The McCallum Theatre is a stunning venue spotless, very well organized, and filled with warmth. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was kind, courteous, and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more special. This was our second time visiting the theatre, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. We genuinely love coming here and look forward to many more unforgettable nights. The staff assisting with check-in and seating were quite friendly and knowledgeable. The theater seating was comfortable and slightly offset to help with line of sight to the stage. The acoustics were good. There's a parking lot on site, as well as a free public parking structure right across the street. We would definitely return for another performance.

We each had martinis and wine. Hubs also had a margarita. Great all around. The food did not disappoint. Show: Freaking amazing!!! I've been to more cabarets than I can count, and this show left me more impressed than I've ever been. Makeup, costumes, and abilities on pointe. The MC was hilarious and what an astounding background in comedy and acting. It was an honor and a privilege to watch. Then they gave a meet and greet outside. Love. Sad Part: It was my birthday. When Gypsy started reading people off, I was excited because I saw my name second from the top. I run a gay straight alliance at my middle school and hubs was filming so we could show the kids. But. He read the first name then skipped mine. Then he read the rest. We all saw the paper at our table because it was right in front of us. I'm sure he just got caught up or maybe couldn't pronounce my name. It made me a bit sad though. They have a polite and professional staff - but one of my favorite aspects is their welcoming volunteers and the mostly volunteer performers who donate so many hours to their art. Bravo! The venue's life began as one of Palm Springs' first school gymnasiums, so it's a bit dated, but in a good way. It's an intimate space with the first row starting immediately at the stage. It has a nostalgic and friendly feel. The steps to the seating are a bit steep, so if guests need a little more physical consideration - try to let the box office know, and they'll graciously try and accomodate them. They have a small but adequate concession area with fair prices. The adjacent parking lot fills up fast, but there's another lot a short block away. There are a host of small eateries nearby, so consider going early to get the best parking and enjoy a full evening of good food and great entertainment. Roger Medanich

Their performance held my attention and moved my emotions as the truth about Agnes' childhood abuse, her dead child and the scandal that the convent tried to cover up unfolded in the story. I enjoyed this performance more than the movie.
