Anticipating the start of the Tom Jones concert (May 23, 2025)
Mike W.

I can't say enough about this intimate venue (2,000 seats). It's definitely one of my top choices to see a concert or a comedy act. Great seating, fantastic acoustics, and plenty of comfort facilities. Last year we saw Jay Leno, and this past weekend we saw Tom Jones performing, a few weeks shy of his 85th birthday, and the man is still amazing! As I've said before, there really isn't a bad seat in the house, all with plenty of leg room, and there's easy to follow signage throughout the venue. Each floor has plenty of bars, which keep the lines moving quickly, and large restrooms. TIP: there are larger restrooms, with no lines, located just outside the venue, off the casino floor. Can't wait for our next adventure at "The Show".

Very clean, nice venue every seat can see the stage very well. Beautifully kept. This is inside the Aqua Caliente casino

Cheers to Friday and a concert

A great venue for concerts! I really enjoyed Squeeze and Boy George. The sound was amazing and I'm sure the artists contributed to that. Fun cocktails and not overly priced like at the larger venues $10 vs $19.50! And you get actual alcohol for $10! Although not much as for food inside The Show. There were only chips available tonight. I guess you eat before you arrive. Lots of choice out at the casino. Easy access to seats by elevators and stairs (2 sets of stairs). People that work at the show are all very helpful and nice. Definitely Recommend watching a concert here.

I LOVE this venue! Saw Duran Duran here in 2019 and saw Air Supply last night! This venue is PERFECT for concerts and comedy acts, as the sound is great and there is not a bad seat in the house! I will say this, however: I overheard some staff members being rude to guests after the show. That could use some improvement. Your box office gentlemen are WONDERFUL! Give them a raise!

The Show is the show venue inside the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage. I really love this venue. I have watched a couple of shows here and both experience have been excellent. Really, there is no bad seats in this place. Not only the seat are positioned in a way where you will have a great experience regardless of where you seat, but the acoustics are also really good. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of space in from of you, not only to stretch your legs, but even for people to walk to and front their seats. Since this theater is inside the casino, it is very easy to find it, and you don't need to pay for parking, like you would do at over venues. Once you are ready to enter, there are plenty of lines to go through security and entering and exiting the theater is very easy to do. There are plenty of clean restrooms inside, but you can also casino restrooms, which are very close once you leave the venue. The lineup for upcoming shows is usually very diverse and there is something for everyone's taste. Besides, after the show, there is plenty of things to do right at the casino, including a steakhouse, cigar lounge and, of course gambling. I already have tickets for my next show, and can hardly wait.

I've been to lots of music venues living in Vegas, especially venues inside casinos, so I've learned what I like and what I don't. And this venue checks a lot of the boxes for me: - Constant screen on the performers at all times - Most of the seats are raised so you're not totally out of luck if someone is standing - Ample room between seats so people can get out easier - Easy and free parking - Even the cheap seats aren't that bad since the venue isn't that big I saw Kenny Loggins here (where he finally played "I'm Free" - woohoo!), and I had fairly nice seats in the Lounge area, so the screen wasn't as much of an issue. But if I ever come back, it's good to know even the cheap seats will get some visual love. I also had to call the box office with a couple questions, and everyone was super nice and helpful when I talked to them. I did have to go thru a weird phone tree to get there, but once I got in touch with them they were able to help me. Just a note that if you park in the main garage, you do have to weave your way through the casino from the parking to get to the venue. Which, is to be expected, since it is in a casino. Also, the orchestra seats (the closest section) are technically floor seats, so if you like sitting for the majority of the show, I'd opt for the lounge seats which are once section back and raised (also cheaper). If someone stands infront of you in the orchestra section, you pretty much gotta stand too.

It's hard to rate a concert hall / show location because many times the ratings will be based on the performance. As others have said, this is inside Agua Caliente, about as far away as you can get from the open parking garage. I'm sure designed that was in order to get patrons to pass all the slots, table games, restaurants, etc. They have metal detectors setup before you enter so be prepared to empty your pockets. They do not currently (November 2023) enforce a clear bag policy so people with normal purses can bring them. Although you might be asked to open them so they can look inside. Most shows will not let you bring your own drinking container in, instead having clear cups next to the entrance so you can transfer your drink. One time we were able to bring the casino's bottle water in, another time we were asked to pour the water from the bottle into the clear cup. Who knows? We've been to a few shows here and sat in a different section each time. View are unobstructed and the sound quality is very good. It's relatively small and everywhere we sat, we had good views of the performers. If you are in need of an elevator instead of stairs, there will be a wait to exit the theater. Of course, they have drinks for sale inside on each level and, most performers also have merch for sale on the ground floor. Good location to see a show. Hope you get great seats and...enjoy!!!

Located in Rancho Mirage and right off the 10 freeway makes it an easy venue for both artist and the general public to come and enjoy a show at the Show. It's a short drive from the heart of Palm Springs with free parking. Got to love that. The Show is towards the rear of the entrance if you're coming from the elevators. Doors opened promptly and inside was nice. Sound system and projectors were good quality. It just depends on what kind of production you're there for that will determine what kind of Yelp experience you'll have. Glad to say mine was good. Mel M Yelp 19:68

Great venue Great sound all seats have great views of stage great time very polite staff and helpful willing to assist in anyway

Saw J Balvin here and sat at the very top and had a great time. I chose to watch J Balvin here as opposed to the Staple Center in Los Angeles because it's a smaller venue, we didn't have to pay for parking or uber to the venue since we stayed in the hotel which made the experience stress free! Downside was the sound was good but not as loud as Staples and because the size of the stage was smaller, they had limited use of their full stage show. Upside was this was a more intimate show since it was a smaller venue and the vibes here were super fun! I will definitely be back to see more shows, but I'd get a seat closer to the floor since it was really hot & stuffy in the top sections.

My daughter and I stood at the entrance for several minutes without being greeted. During that time, the manager was visibly overwhelmed and speaking harshly to the young hostesses, who appeared uncomfortable and trying to maintain composure. Despite this, no one acknowledged us until I offered a friendly "Happy Cinco de Mayo," at which point a hostess kindly stepped in to seat us. Unfortunately, the situation escalated. Twice, as we were being seated, the manager abruptly intervened -- placing reserved signs down and yelling at the hostess, myself and daughter we could not sit there. His tone was harsh, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. This happened two times at two different tables that we were escorted to by the hostess and in front of my young daughter. Needless to say it was both uncomfortable and humiliating. I have never experienced a restaurant manager behave with this level of disrespect toward a guest, especially a woman with her child. I felt embarrassed and heartbroken that my daughter had to witness this. When I calmly approached him to understand the situation, he responded by stating they had "400 reservations," followed by dismissive and aggressive body language that made it clear we were not welcome. The interaction ended with us leaving and both tears. My daughter said "I'm scared mommy, why was that man so mean". A guest from the restaurant who was dinning and witnessed the incident came out just to see if we were ok. Equally concerning was how he treated his own staff, especially female staff setting a negative and unprofessional tone throughout the front of house. As someone from a fourth-generation family in the restaurant industry, I find this especially disheartening. I would be deeply concerned if any manager in our organization treated a guest or employees this way. I understand holidays are demanding, but being busy does not excuse a lack of basic respect and professionalism. I am sharing this in hopes that upper management addresses this directly. No woman / person and her child should have to experience this kind of treatment.

It ended up taking 50 minutes just to get into the rideshare drop-off area. It honestly felt like they were prioritizing VIP and self-parking over rideshare, because those lines were moving while we were stuck in stopped traffic. Getting picked up afterward was even worse--it took over two hours because our Uber driver couldn't get in. For an arena of this size that's been open for several years, I would expect a much better system and flow for rideshare. I understand parking is a big source of revenue, but if rideshare is offered as an option, it should also be managed as a priority.

I wanted to let some time pass, get through the holiday season and in an effort think some on how I might have made awful better. Having just moved I did not want to cook this Thanksgiving. I made reservations at "The Nest" a few weeks ahead of Thanksgiving I had read a number of reviews here on Yelp. I knew going in they had a lively bar scene with live music. We walk in exactly on time. It's so loud it's hard to speak with the hostess. (I'm a Boomer, a child of the 60's no stranger to, nor bothered by loud music) The dining area is separate from the bar so it should be no problem to be seated in a spot that allowed for dinner conversation. I asked the hostess if they did have a spot that was on the quieter side, she said no problem if we could wait a bit. Here is where things went off the rails. We were led to a table that was in a corner and directly under a speaker with the live music as loud as the bar area. Just to make it 'fun' about a 1/4 of the table against the wall had a slope of about 10 or so degrees. There was an older, thick flat screen on the wall so the person across from me kept hitting her head on it. But let's go to the important part the food. Each of us ordered the Thanksgiving Special, turkey dinner. Which was not only the worst turkey dinner I'ver even had but was the absolute worst meal I've ever been served ever, anywhere... including but not limited to fast food. I am left to assume my asking if we could be seated in a quieter spot pissed off the entire restaurant staff from hostess to kitchen staff Starting with the turkey itself, it was a small pile of shredded dark meat, two of us had shards of bone. Mashed potatoes? It was a small ice cream scoop amount (think school cafeteria service) of hard, cold instant like mix. A table spoon worth of some sort of liquid passing for 'gravy'. The rest was of equal 'quality' Two of us left the majority of the food on the plate. Oh and the pie.... Yeah about the same as the rest. I'm not even going to bother about the level of 'service,' I'll just say it was slightly better than food, cold and only indifferent. And now the part that just left us in awe of the whole thing. The section we were seated in was nearly empty by the time we were done, trying get find a member of the staff to bring us the damn check so we could just get out of there. And here comes a couple in their 20's having a domestic dispute, fortunately that calmed down and they left the area. And then here walks through the dining area a clown.... Yes you read that right a clown, in full clown makeup and outfit. An actual clown. No rhyme nor reason, just sauntering through. And as if this was normal and not at all bizarre. There is some sort of 'selfie' device in a corner. And along come two 'ladies' clearly intoxicated, to pose in front of it acting the fools only alcohol can induce and this obnoxious 'show' went on far too long. Just to add insult to injury the check finally comes with a mandatory 20% "large party" (of four?) gratuity. To be fair since it was a holiday would have left at least that amount normally. I appreciate those who work holidays, giving up family time to serve others. I've worked my share of holidays. I was ashamed and embarrassed, about the whole mess.

The team at Cowboy Cantina reached out and invited us back, which we truly were shocked & greatly appreciated it. We decided to give it another shot, and I'm really glad we did because this time around was a completely different experience. From the moment we walked in, the service and atmosphere felt totally turned around. We were greeted warmly, checked on regularly, and actually felt like valued guests. This is the kind of effort that shows a restaurant really cares about improving and making things right! Our server, Isreal, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive without hovering, he was friendly, funny, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Drinks were refilled quickly, everything came out in great timing, and he made sure we had everything we needed the whole night. It honestly felt like the level of service you hope for when you go out to eat. The food itself was great and came out fresh and flavorful. You could tell there was real attention being paid this time, and it made a big difference in how enjoyable the meal was. One of the highlights of the night was the tableside dessert prepared by Jared. Not only was it delicious, but it was also entertaining to watch him put it together right there at the table. It added a fun, memorable touch to the meal and was the perfect way to end the night. This experience showed exactly how restaurants should handle things with their customers. Instead of ignoring feedback, they took it seriously, made the effort to improve, and invited us back to make it right. That kind of accountability and dedication to customer satisfaction goes a long way! We left genuinely impressed and happy we gave it another chance. We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.
