The showroom is amazing. Trust me... every seat is good and so are the acoustics. The ushers are helpful and there are multiple bars for your cocktails. They have Nutrl for $9. When you enter the showroom space, no smoke from casino. Super grateful for that. Balcony seats average $45 this season and many good shows. read more

Amazing venue! I have never been in a venue with more comfortable folding chairs! They were huge and sturdy with arm rests! We had floor seats to Fitz and the Tantrums. We were in the 3rd row. There is literally no bad seat in the house. The whole venue is small and intimate. It was also very clean and safe. There was a lot of security. I am returning in a few weeks. I can't say enough about this intimate venue (2,000 seats). It's definitely one of my top choices to see a concert or a comedy act. Great seating, fantastic acoustics, and plenty of comfort facilities. Last year we saw Jay Leno, and this past weekend we saw Tom Jones performing, a few weeks shy of his 85th birthday, and the man is still amazing! As I've said before, there really isn't a bad seat in the house, all with plenty of leg room, and there's easy to follow signage throughout the venue. Each floor has plenty of bars, which keep the lines moving quickly, and large restrooms. TIP: there are larger restrooms, with no lines, located just outside the venue, off the casino floor. I've attended three music events at The Show at Agua Caliente, and unfortunately, the sound quality has been consistently disappointing. The first time, I assumed it might have been specific to the artist. The second time, I gave it a pass because that performer is known for heavy bass. But at yesterday's ABBA show, the same issue happened again -- overwhelming bass with very little vocal clarity. During the ABBA performance, there was noticeable activity from the tech team on the floor, running back and forth as if adjustments were being made. The sound did improve mildly in the second half, which suggests something was being corrected, but it never fully balanced. The only moment where the vocals truly came through clearly was when the band stopped playing and the artists closed out a song unaccompanied. That contrast made the overall mixing issue even more obvious. We mentioned the problem to an usher, and she acknowledged she noticed the same issue during the first half of the show -- too much bass and not enough lyrics. On the way out, several other guests were discussing the sound as well. One person mentioned this was their second disappointing experience with audio quality at the venue. To be clear, the venue itself is great. It's easy to access, the seats are spacious and comfortable, and once you're past the casino floor, the space feels clean and well maintained. But for live music fans, sound quality is everything -- and right now, it's simply not delivering. read more

I went to see Bill Burr last Friday. The theater must have been 90 degrees inside, I was trying to cool myself by putting ice on my head and neck. This is a place in the desert, if the air conditioning can't keep up in the summer then don't schedule events in the summer. We left early because it was unbearable inside the event. Bill Burr also was doing a crappy performance cause clearly it was awful for him as well. Giant waste of $400. read more

A great venue for concerts! I really enjoyed Squeeze and Boy George. The sound was amazing and I'm sure the artists contributed to that. Fun cocktails and not overly priced like at the larger venues $10 vs $19.50! And you get actual alcohol for $10! Although not much as for food inside The Show. There were only chips available tonight. I guess you eat before you arrive. Lots of choice out at the casino. Easy access to seats by elevators and stairs (2 sets of stairs). People that work at the show are all very helpful and nice. Definitely Recommend watching a concert here. read more

The show venue is good. The performance great. Staff and ushers are always awesome. Bar staff fast and friendly. The Audio guy needs a lesson in how to mix audio. So Much bass. This is not a low-rider cruiser event where the bass reaches such levels the floors shake. Much of the time Vocals are lost in the instrumental. The sound guy needs professional coaching. I give the rest of the venue staff a 5-star for making the experience nice. Oh, this is the third visit and the sound engineering id still laughable. read more

I went to "The Show" at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 to see living legend Diana Ross. Miss Ross was amazing! Still in great voice, glamorous, and full of warmth and energy. My review is related to the venue/presentation. Once you walk through the smoke-filled casino (yuck) "The Show" venue is quite nice and you get good views of the stage from nearly any seat. That said, my problem with the show was the sound mix and the lighting. For most of the show, Miss Ross was drowned out by the band members and background vocalists. The musicians were wonderful and talented, but the sound was just WAY too loud with a bad mix (in particular excessive bass). Often, I believe we were hearing feedback because of the excessive volume of everything (except the stars voice)! In addition, the lighting was SO distracting! Extremely bright lights and strobes were frequently flashing into the audience member's eyes. I found it incredibly annoying (often having to close my eyes because they were so blindingly bright) and it took away from my ability to see and enjoy Miss Ross and her beautiful outfits. It seems like the sound and lighting folks at "The Show" do not know how to "read the room." This was not an audience of teenagers that need constant visual stimulation. Most of the audience were 40+ (hello, this is the Palm Springs area) and the excessively brash (to the point of obnoxious) sound and lighting took away from my enjoyment of this legendary performer. read more

I have to downgrade my review, again for the service and lack of staff. Again, I had tickets for the center of the top balcony. Most venues will give you directions to your seat when your tickets are scanned, but not here. It's been a while since I had balcony seats and had forgotten what a hike it is to the top. There is an elevator, but it was packed! Since they make you dump all your drinks out at security, you're forced to buy everything in the lobby. This includes water. When we reached the 2nd floor, I saw that bar had less people waiting so was about to get in line when a staff member told me there was also another bar on the balcony level. Perfect. Except, after climbing the 4 or 5 1/2 flight of stairs, that line was way longer. Note to anyone, if you see a short line on another floor, get your drinks there! There were two bars for each floor (that I saw) and a couple of free-standing bars, but they weren't open. The problem was, only 1 person was working each bar! Since the lines were long, a lot of people were getting drinks for their entire party so it took the lone bartender longer than you would expect. One couple ordered 8 drinks and had to make a couple of trips to their seats to get all the drinks there. About 2 minutes before the show, an employee came around and said the bar will close promptly at 8 so the show would start. I was 5th in the line at that point. The couple currently at placing an order ordered some serious mixed drinks (that looked really good) but takes longer. I'm now 3rd in line when the same employee that gave the 2-minute warning comes by and tells the bartender it's 8 pm and he should close. They also made an announcement the show would start soon. I attend shows all over SoCal and Vegas and hate it when people have try to crawl in front of you after the show has already started to find their seats, so as a dutiful patron, I left the line and took my seat. Well, from where I was seated, I could see the line from the bar, AND IT STAYED OPEN!!! I could have easily stayed and bought a bottle of water. The show started about 6-7 minutes late so there was no need for the guy to come around and make it look like the bar had to close. But honestly, the biggest issue was only 1 person working each bar. Maybe there were callouts, I don't know, but to go around and tell people the bars will close promptly at 8, and then not close was annoying. read more

The Show is the show venue inside the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage. I really love this venue. I have watched a couple of shows here and both experience have been excellent. Really, there is no bad seats in this place. Not only the seat are positioned in a way where you will have a great experience regardless of where you seat, but the acoustics are also really good. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of space in from of you, not only to stretch your legs, but even for people to walk to and front their seats. Since this theater is inside the casino, it is very easy to find it, and you don't need to pay for parking, like you would do at over venues. Once you are ready to enter, there are plenty of lines to go through security and entering and exiting the theater is very easy to do. There are plenty of clean restrooms inside, but you can also casino restrooms, which are very close once you leave the venue. The lineup for upcoming shows is usually very diverse and there is something for everyone's taste. Besides, after the show, there is plenty of things to do right at the casino, including a steakhouse, cigar lounge and, of course gambling. I already have tickets for my next show, and can hardly wait. read more

I've been to lots of music venues living in Vegas, especially venues inside casinos, so I've learned what I like and what I don't. And this venue checks a lot of the boxes for me: - Constant screen on the performers at all times - Most of the seats are raised so you're not totally out of luck if someone is standing - Ample room between seats so people can get out easier - Easy and free parking - Even the cheap seats aren't that bad since the venue isn't that big I saw Kenny Loggins here (where he finally played "I'm Free" - woohoo!), and I had fairly nice seats in the Lounge area, so the screen wasn't as much of an issue. But if I ever come back, it's good to know even the cheap seats will get some visual love. I also had to call the box office with a couple questions, and everyone was super nice and helpful when I talked to them. I did have to go thru a weird phone tree to get there, but once I got in touch with them they were able to help me. Just a note that if you park in the main garage, you do have to weave your way through the casino from the parking to get to the venue. Which, is to be expected, since it is in a casino. Also, the orchestra seats (the closest section) are technically floor seats, so if you like sitting for the majority of the show, I'd opt for the lounge seats which are once section back and raised (also cheaper). If someone stands infront of you in the orchestra section, you pretty much gotta stand too. read more

It's hard to rate a concert hall / show location because many times the ratings will be based on the performance. As others have said, this is inside Agua Caliente, about as far away as you can get from the open parking garage. I'm sure designed that was in order to get patrons to pass all the slots, table games, restaurants, etc. They have metal detectors setup before you enter so be prepared to empty your pockets. They do not currently (November 2023) enforce a clear bag policy so people with normal purses can bring them. Although you might be asked to open them so they can look inside. Most shows will not let you bring your own drinking container in, instead having clear cups next to the entrance so you can transfer your drink. One time we were able to bring the casino's bottle water in, another time we were asked to pour the water from the bottle into the clear cup. Who knows? We've been to a few shows here and sat in a different section each time. View are unobstructed and the sound quality is very good. It's relatively small and everywhere we sat, we had good views of the performers. If you are in need of an elevator instead of stairs, there will be a wait to exit the theater. Of course, they have drinks for sale inside on each level and, most performers also have merch for sale on the ground floor. Good location to see a show. Hope you get great seats and...enjoy!!! read more

A great concert venue. I normally sit in the balcony for good reason. There are two elevators on each side of the venue. It is a long walk up stairs but arriving 15-20 before showtime and not 5 minutes will take care of last minute confusion. In the years I've been going to The Show Theater I've never had a problem getting drinks at any of the bars or merch for that matter. It's fine. The staff has been pretty thin this year but they are very much helpful in guiding people to their seats. Always polite and welcoming. read more

Located in Rancho Mirage and right off the 10 freeway makes it an easy venue for both artist and the general public to come and enjoy a show at the Show. It's a short drive from the heart of Palm Springs with free parking. Got to love that. The Show is towards the rear of the entrance if you're coming from the elevators. Doors opened promptly and inside was nice. Sound system and projectors were good quality. Saw J Balvin here and sat at the very top and had a great time. I chose to watch J Balvin here as opposed to the Staple Center in Los Angeles because it's a smaller venue, we didn't have to pay for parking or uber to the venue since we stayed in the hotel which made the experience stress free! Downside was the sound was good but not as loud as Staples and because the size of the stage was smaller, they had limited use of their full stage show. Upside was this was a more intimate show since it was a smaller venue and the vibes here were super fun! I will definitely be back to see more shows, but I'd get a seat closer to the floor since it was really hot & stuffy in the top sections. read more

I'm super impressed with this venue! Sound was great. The seats are super comfortable and spacious, you don't feel completely crammed. Service as nice. I also saw a security guard throughout the night making his rounds and my husband works in private security so I'm a little bit more in tune to their processes. He was really attentive, watching the crowd, not the show, and I felt super safe! My husband used the restrooms and said it was the cleanest restroom he's every been in. read more

Was here for the first time on New Years Eve 2017 for the sold out Huey Lewis and the News show. It was a great concert and a great venue. Nice employees work here--clean bathrooms--easy access to drinks with bars on multiple levels. Reasonable drink prices for a concert: $6 for campaign, $5 or 6 for beer. Very organized ticket distribution. Very comfortable seats. Clean. Excellent sound. Easy in and out. If you stay out of section 400 balcony, no really bad seat in the small arena. Anywhere in Section 200 Lodge or Orchestra is a great seat. Section 300 seemed not too far either. Side seats are fine too with an eye level view of the stage. Huey Lewis even mentioned to the crowds that this may be one of the smallest venues that they have played in. Lewis is a high energy band that likes audience participation. Is it weird that I was surprised by this venue? Its rare to be impressed by venues inside of casinos. This is an exception. 2000 comfortable seats and really not a bad one in the house. The balconies are close in and really offer a great vantage point to see a show. Top notch sound and screens too. I liked it so much, it will actually have me looking to see their performance schedule for shows to go experience. Absolutely appalled at Agua Caliente Casino, The Show venue. They state on their website and also on several screens prior to the show, no video or photos. Many, many people were filming and taking photos during the show. One person infront of us was actually checking email. It was so uncomfortable and annoying to have the phone screen lights in our face while trying to enjoy the music. We asked an usher to please tell the people in front of us to abide by their own rules and tell them to stop filming. They did nothing. We finally just left mid show as it was not enjoyable. I was astonished at the incredible customer service that Stewart applied towards such a simple individual like myself, out of all the people in the world. Stewart acted as if I was the only person that existed to him. I had a serious rip off issue with etix over my Gabriel iglesias tickets that I've been waiting for over 2 years. And I mean postponement after postponement! Etix was really terrible... but once my issues and concerns were brought to Stewart's attention, it was like the president of the US had my back all the way. So impressed by the vip treatment from Stewart... he found the solution and stayed on top of it for weeks beforehand, until he made sure I was going to the Gabriel iglesias show. I saw REO Speedwagon here in July and I was impressed. The Show is pretty new(I think 2-3 years) and was very nice inside. It was the perfect size, and even though we got seats in thesecond cheapest section, there really was not a bad seat in the house! The bathrooms, concessions and souvenirs were all easily accessed by going down the stairs behind the audience almost like a stadium setup. It was very convenient. I also loved how well-designed the parking lot was- easy to find the self-park lots.Quick and easy to leave after the show- not stuck in line in the parking lot, trying to get out. Lots of exits and easy access back on to the 10. This is a perfect venue because they are able to relatively big acts, but very accessible for patrons. read more

I love this venue. I went to see a second performance (Los Temerarios) yesterday. The acoustics are great! The seating is fabulous and has an intimate feeling. I sat in Loge seating but have also been in the Mezzanine area. It feels like anywhere you sit is a good spot. I appreciate that the ushers help you get to your seat. There is a bar on every floor (if that's your thing) of the venue. If you're ever in doubt about seeing a performance here; doubt no more. The sound quality is pure! The audio visual is clear. We saw Chicago last night and the location, ease of entrance and seating arrangement were GREAT. It was also very convenient getting a drink at the bar. My only complaint would be why they would sell the tickets that we ended up with. We were on the side in the upper level and we could not see the entire band at once. From now on I will never attend a concert here unless I am facing the stage. The ampitheatre seating and size of the venue makes me want to come back for more. This was a great venue as it was our 1st time out there in Palm Springs and we really enjoyed how small and comforting the chairs and view were. Every floor had a place to buy drinks and had restrooms and also chairs for people who were waiting to sit if they get tired. It was very clean and looked almost brand new. We went to go see Duran Duran and they did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I were singing and dancing all night, they are great to see live, highly recommend! We liked how the venue was right up front of the entrance and easy to find. The will call area was a bit crowded but we went to the handicapped line for my boyfriend's disability but the lady wasn't very kind as she asked alot of questions as if she didn't believe he had a disability and told me this was the one time she would do that for me but next time I would have to get in line which I found rude. Other then that it was a fun experience and concert, the speakers there are nice and loud and since it's a small concert venue pretty much whichever seat you get is pretty good one. The only thing is this place is too far for us and unfortunately won't be returning for that reason only. Other then that if you have a chance to see a band that's playing there that you would really like to see I recommend it just once to see for yourself. read more

Just saw Sheryl Crow. The show itself was too long, too loud, and the lighting was was horrible. There were 5 bright lights that shined at the audience and changed colors. I'm not sure what effect they were trying to create...except blindness. I have been to many concerts...the bass and the percussion overpowered Sheryl. I know performers bring their own sound and lighting crews....so I really can't blame The Show. I like Sheryl Crow as a recording artist... But she isn't much of a performer....sorry to say. Her last song was her best.... I am not sure why everyone is raving about the venue....it ain't nothing special. It is small compared to other venues here.... That's it. No decor, everything is just basic black. The seats were fine....my ass didn't go to sleep, which is good. I walked throught the theatre... And as far as being acoustically perfect... I thought it was inferior to other theatres. All of the upper levels, the balcony, especially, seemed too steep, with very narrow aisles. If you have vertigo, like I have, try the loge or orchestra sections. They are expensive....but, it might save an embarrassing throw up on the party in front of you. Maybe, I'm a little spoiled.... seen too many shows in LV and LA that were in far superior faculities. read more

My recent "Experience" at The Show at Agua Caliente left much to be desired. The venue itself is nice but I feel that The Theresa Caputo Experience should be limited to floor seating. I don't see her running up to the balcony or surrounding areas to include someone in that "Experience". Besides the fact that it felt like we were sitting outdoors in the snow. Uncomfortably cold up there. Many people around us were complaining and leaving. We also left before the show was over. I am a fan of hers but this left something to be desired. My aunt and I went to the Miranda Lambert concert here last Sunday night. Pros- It's new and beautiful. Comfy seats and I suspect that there isn't a bad seat in the place (unless maybe if you are on the very sides). Our seats were in the balcony, row B, dead center and they were perfect. Great sound quality. The people who worked there were very helpful and nice. I was surprised that there wasn't a security check, we breezed right in. This is a gorgeous venue. Cons- It's a bit pricey. The concert ran short, maybe an 1 1/2 hours, no opener and no encore. I suspect this has to do with it being in a casino, wanting to get people out of the show and back to gambling. I have been to many concerts, including several of Miranda's shows and none of them have been so short. Also, no camera's allowed in the theater, although this didn't seem to be enforced. I could not find the merch table either. I thought this venue was beautiful and I would travel from Los Angeles to see a concert, if it was a performer that I was very excited about. read more

I've seen comedy acts, rock bands and attended a variety fund raiser here. All were spectacular. Almost nothing was missed creating a wonderful casino show place at this location. Everything is laid out in a logical and easy to use way; bars, rest rooms. It really is a "crowning jewel" to the Agua Caliente experience. We were present for the "Celtic Woman" performance which was wonderful; excellent voices, instruments, choreography and arrangements of the best of musical ballads emanating from the Emerald Isle. While we will not hesitate to return for more shows, this venue lacks a bit on acoustics for the type of music we were hearing. My personal professional background sometimes haunts my ability to totally enjoy a performance with a "hot" acoustical enviroment. Not to wonder with so little carpeting or other fabric sound dampening. In short, it is NOT the McCallum...any accomplished musician would have to admit. Purchasing tickets is relatively eash, but they charge a fee like most venues. The problem is that you have to wait in line at Will Call on the night of the performance! Mailing them to you is NOT an option....so what is the fee for? read more
