If anyone is ever skeptical whether seeing a chiropractor will work to ease their pain, stress, or physical well being then this is definitely the place to go to change their minds! Seeing Dr. Ciresi was one of the best decisions of my life! After only being adjusted 3-4 times, I already feel less (if any at all!) pain in my lower back, shoulders and neck! I also found out through a full body x-ray that I have an extra vertebrae at the base of my spine, and an extra joint between the right side and my hip bone! I started seeing Dr. Ciresi when I was 5 months Pregnant with twins. 12 years ago I feel on black ice leaving me with 2 ruptured discs ,3 herniated, spinal stenosos and sciatica. Dr. Ciresi really cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain how your body is or isn't working, and then fixes the problems! When I first started to see her, I had severe sciatica from pregnancy. Within a month, my sciatica pain was completely gone. Now it only comes back if I throw out my back, but then she goes in and fixes me again. I also had limited hearing in my right ear. After about a year all of a sudden I could hear again. Not completely, but a major improvement. The drop table technique is awesome. She even adjusts my two children who LOVE it. My oldest child's immune system has improved significantly since seeing Dr. Ciresi. The little guy has been doing well too! I strongly suggest sticking with Dr. Ciresi if you are looking into chiropractic care. There is a way to combat pain & ailments without the drugs and western medicine. I have been to several chiropractors before but I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Ciresi. She took so much time with me asking me questions and taking x-rays that no other chiropractor has done. I know that I am in the initial stages of my chiropractic care with Dr. Ciresi, but I can not wait until my next visit because I feel so confident that she will correct my problem. read more

Friends had been telling me for years that I should find a good chiropractor. Working a desk job with a decent commute means that I'm usually sitting for at least 10 hours a day and I have had back pain since I was a teenager anyway. The thought of someone "cracking" my back or neck was frankly terrifying - (after all, isn't it always the bad guy in those crazy action movies who kills people by cracking their necks) so I wanted to be sure to find someone who knows what they are doing and I didn't know where to start. I somehow stumbled on Dr. Ciresi's website and saw that she treats infants and adults, so I figured she must know what she is doing if people let her adjust their babies! So I made an appointment, hoping to just get help with my back pain so that I could feel comfortable working out again. I was amazed that on my first visit they took a full medical history and took some X-Rays. Dr. Ciresi then sat down with me and showed me where I was misaligned and explained which body functions were impacted by the nerves running through those areas. Believe it or not, I was super excited at this point because I had just gone through a series of medical tests relating to those exact functions and all the test came back "normal" even though there was still something "off". Dr. Ciresi came up with a treatment plan where I would come for adjustments fairly frequently at first and then taper down to less frequent visits as the adjustments began to "stick". Their insurance ninja, Jackie, sat down with me to show me how my medical benefits would work with that treatment plan and what my costs would be. They managed it perfectly so that I was utilizing my benefits fully without incurring unnecessary expense. Then their scheduling ninja, Maria, helped me to schedule out a number of appointments so that I didn't have to stop and schedule my next appointment at each visit. I even paid a bunch of copays up front so that I could come in for my adjustment and leave without ever having to stop at the front desk (other than to sign in quickly on the clipboard). Everyone knows the patients by name, asks about their life, and seems genuinely caring and super friendly. The adjustments themselves are amazing. I have had the pleasure of seeing both Dr. Ciresi and Dr. Zebro and they are both wonderful. They started out with very gentle adjustments and worked up to bigger adjustments when I was ready. Most people want to know if it hurts, and the short answer is yes, but not in a I-never-want-to-do-this-again kind of way. It hurts in almost the same way as an aggressive muscle stretch hurts. It's uncomfortable for a minute, but then you also feel the release and relief of things being better than they were before, even if only in a small way. Those small improvements add up though and I know that I am feeling better than I was before I started and I am back going to the gym again. That carpal tunnel that my PCP wanted to send me to surgery for - a totally out of whack neck. I actually feel tingles of sensation returning to my fingers when my neck gets adjusted sometimes. My knee pain - a rotated and off-level pelvis (I'm going to go ahead and blame baby #2 for that one). Even my "tummy troubles" have been better since about halfway through my treatment plan. And I never would have guessed that you could adjust someone's ears, but you can and it's awesome - you can literally feel the fluid in your ears start to drain after a good adjustment. I also started having my 3-year-old adjusted to help alleviate his frequent ear infections and mild asthma, and even he likes it. He gets upset with me if I take him to an appointment of mine and he doesn't get an adjustment too. And that's another thing, they are super family friendly. They have toys in the waiting room, all of the staff are either Moms or super-awesome-aunties, and they all have the patience of saints when it comes to your kids shenanigans. Not that I advise letting your kids run wild, but we all know there are some days where no matter what you do, your kids are wild animals (at least mine are), but I know that the adjustment will be quick and that they won't make me feel judged. Plus, they always seem to find that spot - you know the one, where all your tension and stress from the day lives. Turns out that spot just needs to be put back in its place so that your body can get back to living well. I feel like I am now in a place where I am not fighting my body.
