Love the selection here! We left with so many gorgeous options for our flower and veggie garden. I'm already a lot more likely to get from a local company than a big box store, but I do love Cirian's! We left with a ton of annuals, peppers, and herbs. I love the color selection of everything and that they have pre-made hanging plants and herbs that are already nice and established. Inside there are seed packets, onions and garlic, and both their own brand of jams, picked produce, and other yummy canned goods as well as Fat Head Honey! I finally found the salted lime honey I've been looking for, so that was a great surprise at check out. read more

Cirians is a wonderful neighborhood market! I love that I can get everything I want to plant at once in the summer. I go here for tomato plants, jalapeño plants and herbs. I also get a lot of perennials and annuals here! The prices are typically very good and workers are very helpful. They also sell mums and wood when fall comes! read more

It's hard to describe how comforting and uplifting it is to hear the staff referring to each other as "Dad" and "Grandpa" - and the customers referred to as "sir" and "ma'am" - go there and experience it for yourself! This place has a great selection of Christmas trees, garland, wreaths etc. Which is better: the selection or the service? Let's call it a tie! Both are first rate and is a strength here at Cirians. Although the driveway is a bit tight, traffic flows well and for the most part is efficient. You can also park in the adjacent lot to the west. As soon as you get out your vehicle in the driveway, someone greets you from the helpful staff. Not only for the winter season, but this also goes for spring and summer when looking for perennials/annuals to plant in the garden. Sticking with what I started with, they have several varieties of fresh trees including: Balsam, Frazier, Douglas, and Spruce. They will walk you over to the tree section you are looking for and pull whatever one you want. There are many, many trees to pick from. When you select your perfect tree, they will make a new cut on the bottom to ensure the tree will take water when you put it in the tree stand at home. There is no additional charge for this. Also, they will tie the tree to the roof of your car for no charge as well. Sure you could shop somewhere else for your tree and save a few bucks but the selection and service here is great. That's why the family and I come to Cirians year after year. read more

I am not much of a gardener so can't speak to Cirians for other items, but I've gotten my Christmas tree here two years in a row and I've loved the experience both times! I have an allergy to certain types of evergreen trees, so your average pop up tree shop in a parking lot doesn't usually work for me. I also love keeping our tree up for 5-6 weeks, so getting a high quality fresh tree is important. Cirians has delivered great service with a smile for two years now! The staff are friendly and understanding, showing tree after tree until we find The One. They've been patient and unrushed both years. They also are happy to trim the trunk and errant branches as well as tie it to the top of the car. Even when it's cold and wet, they seem unfazed and happy to help. Above all, I was impressed by the sizable pine tree I got this year for $45. I think the prices are good for the value of what you get. I'll definitely be back year after year. read more

We stopped here as we were in the neighborhood and were really impressed. Very extensive line of tomato plants, including varieties I've never seen in a garden store (Green Zebra, Chocolate Cherry), with your choice of plants ranging from 4 for $1.99 (just getting started) to plants far enough along they had blossoms and even some with fruit (this was late April). There were even a few organic varieties. I didn't check out the annuals other than the veggies and herbs. The herbs were largely "Chef Jeff" or otherwise commercially branded, but there was a sign saying everything was grown locally. In addition to the usual dill, oregano, basil, etc. they had some less common options: chervil! horehound! epazote! Nasturtium seedlings! The perennials section was very impressive - there were plants along the side of the building, then wrapping all the way around the back. They had some lilies, including several Asiatic lilies (take up less space and bloom later). Bellflowers. Balloon flowers. Unusual colors of vinca. A perennial version of lobelia. Golden vinca. Prices very affordable - I don't live in Omaha, but I'm pretty sure even here $10 for a clematis is a good deal. If I lived locally, I'd be all over this place - as it is, I bought a chocolate cherry and asked my mother if she'd mind terribly bringing it to me when she drives cross-country in 2 weeks (chocolate cherry are delicious - if you grow tomatoes, you should buy some). Excellent seed selection inside; they had cress, for example, which I had given up on finding in a store and bought mail order. read more

Cirian's is one of those places I love so much that I don't want to share. But to be honest, they deserve a good review and I will give it despite my (selfish) better judgement. This is an honor bestowed only once upon the Goodwill on Archer in Denver, and I only reviewed that store after I moved. I still live in Omaha. So everyone else, you keep your grubby paws off Cirian's heliotrope and alyssum. They are there to make my porch smell good. Same for the gardenias and peonies and split second that hydrangeas are around. The staff are so lovely, knowledgeable, and helpful there. All of the plants I've purchased have thrived in my garden, as long as I remember to water them. Our tomatoes were glorious last year and I'm sure the plants we bought this year shall be the same. Parking can be limited, but lots of assholes just drive into the middle of the store front, so there's that. read more

I have been to a lot of nurseries and Cirian's has become my favorite. They have a great selection of healthy annuals and perennials at good prices. No matter how busy they are, someone greets you and offers you a box to carry plants, then carries them to your car. They are all very nice and helpful. The plants I get there always flourish. If you are looking for trees, large shrubs or more mature landscaping, this isn't the place for you. They primarily have annuals, perennials, fruits and vegetables. read more

Fantastic selection and prices! Most of their hanging baskets are under $20. I found one with a gorgeous unique color of petunias that will last through the summer for $17.99 (2018 price). Five kinds of almost every plant (clematis selection was WOW!)...which makes it both fun to shop and hard to stop shopping. :-) They are very helpful and check out is very quick and painless with help carrying your items to the car.
