My brother William keeps telling me this station is just as smooth for him. However, I used my GasBuddy card for the pay-at-the-pump transaction so I found some drawbacks. (I remember that it was something about the PIN was entered, but I don't vividly remember what happened). The prices are a little bit higher than other Valero's here, but they are comparable to other stations in the area (if that helps any). (Sorry that this can't be more helpful, as I had been on vacation this past weekend and didn't write down much on the back of the receipt about my experience, but I do remember some of it.)

I got out of my car after a short delay (due to unintentional malfunction of my car's door locks) and pulled up to discover at first that this station has slightly older pumps....nothing too- historical though. They took my GasBuddy discount card at the pump and within a few seconds I was off n' runnin'. I didn't even have to enter my odometer reading here (or get around that prompt by entering a particular two digit code), which made me feel surprised. The trigger didn't work too well. I'm pretty good at getting gas exactly where I want it. But here was different. I'd squeeze and due to over squeezing by the pumps machine issues, would offset the amount I would have wanted to place in my tank at a normal gas station elsewhere and cause me to miss the exact place I was expecting to pump till. I should have expected that when the pump shut itself off at 25.77 to expect this here. If I wouldn't have been on the GasBuddy card, and if it wasn't even me, that caused disaster for over spending and could have caused others disaster! I mean, I pushed it to 26.02 but was planning on only pumping 26.00 after the machine clicked at 25.99 seconds before. Maybe if they'd stop affiliating themselves with the Deli so much, get off their tush and check their pumps out for malfunctioning parts every few months, I'd be using them more. However, not one time today, did I ever notice any employee come out to check. I should've expected that prior to arriving thanks to a car pulling out of here prior to my arrival and another customer walking out saying something but couldn't discern what but sounded as if she aimed it at me!

I came in here the other day looking to purchase several dollars of gas for the car, when once I…read moregot in, I was warmly greeted to other customers waiting in line. Well, I do thank this location, because this location had an employee that opened up a new line so that I could pass directly into a line so I wouldn't have to wait to pay for the service. Maybe seeing as I had cash and had the Gas Cash Card in hand (and handy), maybe triggered them to see that I didn't pose a major threat to making the transaction be easy for them to complete. They didn't ask or remind me that I had a Speedy Rewards account I could use at the register, but I remembered the card just after handing them the Gas Cash Card and they completed the transaction smoothly. The money was added and I got a receipt as I asked. I went out and pumped. I had no real problems there. The ground still looks a little old and predates the Speedway pumps, but they work. The fact that the Walmart across the street helps, makes this place a go-to place when I'm in Catskill. I had been here before, but it had been a long time and this time was different : they didn't realize that this time it would be the experience I'd be reviewing about.

This is a nice store. There is a quick check express across the street, but they are not open 24…read morehours a day. This is the larger store, and it is. It is very clean inside. They have a large number of gas pumps, and the gas prices are reasonable, They have everything you need from food, snacks, other food items, and sundries, if you are in a pinch, they even sell cell phone cables. They have milk, beer , alcoholic hard sodas and teas, as well as sodas and other nonalcoholic drinks. I really like the "liquid death" flavored sparkling water. They come in some great flavors, with clever names.. They also have hot food, an espresso/coffee bar, and even a sandwich shop. The espresso bar and the sandwich shop are not open 24 hours, though . They also have an ATM that does not charge a surcharge. The only thing you would pay is whatever your bank charges you to not use one of their ATMs. If you get a quick check card, you can get some very good deals when your shop. All you do is swipe your card or punch in your phone number. Most of the time, the employees are very friendly, once in a while, you get somebody who is a little bit grumpy, but hey, everybody has a bad day. Be aware, that if you want a bag, you have to pay $.50 for one of their cloth bags. Yes, they are reusable, but I have so many of those darn things, I could open up my own grocery store. Overall, it's a good store. I wish they had them in California, where I live. I will I will always stop by when I am in town.

My first thought was "people, how hard can it be?". Well, then it was my turn. I tried THREE different bills and TWO different credit cards... none of the five worked for me. Really? However, at that point (you know, after being in line for 10+ minutes) people were behind me so I couldn't back up, so I just waited for the car in front of me to finish so I could drive on through. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Went in for four new tires…read more Talked me into replacing suspension for all of the tires saying it was highly recommended for my safety. Not upfront with the total cost and was shocked when I was charged $3000. Day 1, eight hours spent waiting for tires that I was told would come 'soon'. Never came so booked myself in for the next day. At the end of Day 2 they called me and told me they put on the wrong suspension on all of the tires. They were clearly pissed when I said I couldnt leave my car with them. Ten hours spent doing the wrong thing on my car... Day 3 all four tires were finally on. 3 months later, have found that they didn't tell me I need an alignment, breaks needed fluid and I got a flat today and was told by Mavis AND Triple AAA that they couldn't get my tire off because the bolts had been stripped by Midas. Horrible experience, enough said. Will never EVER bring my car here again.
