I've used Larry & Gene's for years and have never had to go back for a re-do, never had a mis-diagonsed problem. In fact, much of their advice has been about service that I can reasonably avoid having done. Some things are just not worth the cost, given the age or value of your car, and they'll be the first to tell you that. Safety? That's another thing entirely; you'll be read the riot act (albeit courteously) for driving an unsafe vehicle, even one with a current inspection sticker. I think you can trust these guys to keep you safely on the road at a price that will turn you into a "regular".
