Worst nail salon I've ever been to if I could give zero stars I would but I have to give one in order to post. Straight robbery $100 for dip on my nails with French tip. I had to argue because they wanted to force putting tips on my real nails and they found another way to charge me telling me that they had to charge me for soak off which I have never had to pay which is part of the price. 5/15/21 Today I wanted to check out this place even though I was told to stay away from this place. I wanted to see for myself what this place had to offer. I was greeted by a woman who was apparently helping another client. She looked at me like she didn't know what to do and called for someone in her native tongue. I was approached by a manager (maybe) and ge asked how could he help. The guy appeared to be sizing me up when I asked about a takeout brochure. The guy said to take a picture because they were out of brochures. I might try getting some waxing done, because the negative reviews seem to be a nails and customer service. The first time I came, they did a great job. These last few times, it's been awful. I asked for powder manicure and a pedicure, as well as a mani-pedi for my daughter (5). The manicure looked awful. They literally did the powder then painted over it with gel polish. The manicure lasted all of 3 days and the pedicure less than 2. They treated my daughter like she was a nuisance. I get it. Called to make an appointment as I'm searching for a regular nail salon. I asked the lady who answered for the best person they had available and she responded with "everyone is good here" not the case.. Wanted to give this place a try.. honestly not too impressed. Clean and good color selection however I would expect this from a new salon. Went in with my boyfriend on a Saturday morning and the salon was very empty only (4) people staffed, likely because they've only been open for two months. The lady that did my nails did not introduce herself so I don't know her name. Looked like she didn't want to be there. She did a good polish job and kind of took her time but she did a very bad job shaping my nails. I also asked for matte nails and mine just looked like the top coat rubbed off and not a true matte. The nail service is acceptable, but not great. I made an appointment for 10 am, as Google indicated that the salon isn't so busy at that period. My first nail technician put my hands in a bowl with acetone, covered them with a towel and then left to do someone else's pedicure. While she was doing the other client's pedicure, the phone rang. She answered the phone with her gloves on (gross) After 20 mins with my fingers dipped in acetone, more nail technicians arrived for work. A second nail technician (named Crystal) did my gel manicure. I observed that the salon lacks cleanliness since the counters had remains of nail polish, hairs, and nails that were clipped. Moreover, they seem to be short staffed. While I waited with my fingers dipped in acetone, the nail technician doing another client's manicure beside me left the salon with only a "I'll be right back, ok?" I have been getting my nails done here for 5 years and once you are a regular let me tell you it is the VIP treatment. My girl Lisa and her husband own and operate the nail salon and they are so sweet and kind. They text me every holiday to wish me happiness and every time I go in they are so accommodating and helpful. I have gotten my nails and eyelashes done by Lisa and she does an outstanding job. I also have had gel manicures and pedicures by some of the other women and they are top rate. I read the reviews on yelp for this spot and took a chance and to my surprise i was not disappointed. When i walked in i was greeted at the entrance and the staff seemed super friendly. The lady at the door asked me what service i needed and immediately sat me down with a nail tech. My nail tech asked what color i would like and what shape i wanted. She was so friendly and i let her know i like a natural round tip and thin acrylic. She listened to every word i said because my nails came out exactly as i envisioned. Short, thin & just the way i like them. I went with a royal blue gel and she said she loved the way it looked on my nails (sweet and great customer service!) At the end of my service i was soooo surprised at the price- $43 for a FULL SET + Gel Polish! That's a complete STEAL when I'm used to paying $60+ for that. Needless to say, I'll be back again! The only con was that i was in there a pretty while. She def took her time and was a little slow. (I could tell she was just trying to perfect my nails). Definitely make an appointment or go at less common times, like weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend mornings! I've gone three times to Citi now and have gotten work from a few technicians. To be honest, I haven't seen a real distinction between each of them--they are all very responsive to requests and changes you want, and their nail art is pretty good. However, I've noticed that in general certain types of designs are better executed than others. For example: I did a simple eye design that turned out great with a few small imperfections I (but no one else) saw. I also did an intricate flower design and they executed that incredibly well! The last time I went, I got pineapples but since it was a cartoon/detailed but with lots of line art, it was a little different from what I expected. I stumbled on this nail salon while shopping next door at Tony Moly. They have a variety of services like waxing etc but I was most excited about the SNS gel nails and a great pedicure. The service was friendly and helpful. The pedicure chairs are new not refurbished and they have a multitude of gel and traditional polishes. I was impressed that they also offered nail art. Be warned that they don't have a ton of SNS colors but that isn't as popular as gel manicures. I'm glad I discovered this when I did because they have all the tools to be a success. read more

Came here for the first time to get my nails right for Valentine's day! I live down the street from this place and I wanted to get a quick manicure before they closed at 8 so I could still have time for the mall after. It was about 7:15 when I called and they were understanding. The guy (Si) said not to worry and to come on by. They took care of me quick, about 30 minutes or so for a standard gel manicure. My nail technician was Ana and she was pretty great. She rolled up my sleeves before she started and thought it was thoughtful of her. It's the little things that count. Si, a male technician, was very friendly and talkative. He let me know that they also do SNS mani's and suggested I try it the next time as its suppose to last longer than the standard gel. He also told me they have a 7-day rule starting from the day of your appt. to fix any chipped nail - at no cost. You heard right. Anywhere I've gone in the past will usually charge $5 to fix a broken/chipped nail. Thought that was cool. Only been open for a year. Clean and modern salon. Spacious, not crammed. Not so much parking available, but you can park at Breeze cafe which is right next to it (they have a lot). Did I mention it only cost me $28... can you say YAAASSSS! Anyone will tell you that's a bargain for a gel manicure. My friend says they charge 38 where she goes. So there's that. Enough said! Coming back here for sure. read more

I wanted to love them truly did, it's the closet to my home but sadly can't. I went to remove my acrylic. It was not socked off or removed professional. It was removed by digging under the acrylic with an nail tip. Yes a nail tip. Not only is it unprofessional but painful. I had long nails underneath to which now are gone due to the damage and tearing that was done to my natural nail. One of my nails came off with my skin that was not growth but my natural nail with skin. I wasted to keep my natural name and round shape to which I did not know they forcefully removed acrylic. I was charged $58 for the removal and a coat of gel of clear polish. Absolutely overpriced for a removal of that was painful and unprofessional done that did not use any product or material of any kind, expect for the nail tip which a box is 5 dollars or less. I have never gone to anywhere that removes them like this. And for a clear coat because I no longer wanted a design I just wanted to leave and never return. This place should be checked again and should be taken as a hazard to the public. Not only is it not clean but unprofessional. I am truly sorry but I can not provide a good review when I know it could cost harm to the health of others. read more
