Store is located on the corner of Moreland Memorial. It's a pain to get into from Moreland, so use Memorial entrance. It's not the best looking place, but it was going to save me a trip elsewhere. Came in for beer. Decent selection and easily found what I needed. Employee behind the counter was nice enough. Watch the price tags. They don't seem to update the stickers on the racks to match the item being sold, which could result in a discrepancy. read more

"Accidently" charged my credit card $775 instead of $75. When I went back to the store for a refund of the over-charged amount, they lied to me and said they couldn't issue a refund because they "hadn't made enough money that day" and told me to handle it through my bank. I called that night to see if they had made enough money yet and could now refund me. They lied to me again and said they could not because I had contacted my credit card company. The next day, the CC company refused the refund and said the store had to handle it. I had to then file a police report and threaten taking them to small claims court. It was at that point Citi Wine finally decided to be truthful that they could refund me and had me visit the store again so they can write me a check. Citi Wine & Spirits had plenty of time to make this "accident" right and chose not to.. making me think this wasn't much of an "accident" after all. If they were an honest company, they could have taken it upon themselves to issue the refund the day of the transaction when counting the till and seeing they were over $700. Instead they waited a couple weeks for me to notice on my own and then refused to refund me until I threatened legal action. Beware of these scammers. read more

Most disgraceful liquor store I've ever been. When we came we were greeted by not one but two addict homeless people. We said we didn't have change and he said he was going to shoot us despite security there of course. Then you get yelled at for whatever by the ( what seems to be owner or head manager) in our case he decided to lose it because our car was parked uneven ( which it was) I was literally paying and it would have taken 10 more seconds, he didn't budge. Ok. Then of course the bottle was more expensive then on label, at this point I didn't care and just wanted to get out. Surprised, frustrated, and felt cheated. I accept the responsibility of going to a liquor store for a good wine. I searched to find the Cabs upon finding a 14hands Cab simple nothing over the top. In a grocery store in california $15 easy. Here in Georgia 9.99, okay cool. I saw the dust on the bottle but that could easily be from heavy foot traffic. Being naive I bought it, went to open it and the cork split almost in half with ease (not good) The cork smelled INTOXICATINGLY bitter and felt mildewy/mushy. First smell before even letting the wine breathe was horrendous, and the sip I took was regretful. All to say, I've had a good choice of selection once before. This time was clearly a bad idea. The wine is weeks if not months old. The wine popped on my tongue like it was a seltzer/carbonated drink. UPDATE: decided to open the other bottle that was actually cheaper. 9.99 for 'Chateau Souverain cab 2016' The '14 hands cab 2015' was 11.99. The latter of the two was the Chateau wildly. This is our go to liquor store since it is the closest to our house. They always have what we are looking for and we are usually in and out pretty quickly. When we first moved to East Atlanta from O4W we definitely missed Green's, but Citi wine and spirits has definitely stepped it up in the past few years. I remember stopping in here about a year ago looking for mezcal and they had one option. Now, they have about eight or ten options. They have definitely adapted to their diverse clientele as the neighborhood changes. They have a great selection of wine and other liquors. I can't speak to their beer selection. It is rare that I buy beer. They have all the mixers you could need- from San Pellegrino to Fever Tree to sprite. They cover all the bases. Note that they do not have lemons/limes but I am not sure that any liquor stores sell them. I just wish they did! The customer service is fine. I don't normally need help or alcohol suggestions so I am generally dealing with the cashiers only and they are always friendly enough and efficient. My only critique is the parking lot. It's oddly shaped and can be tight as there is an entrance off of Moreland as well as Memorial. Just be careful because there are cars coming from both directions. With that said, I have always been able to find a spot. Overall, a good package store with all the basics. I'll be their customer until my liver fails! read more

I went to Citi wine and Spirits on Friday morning. I was in a little bit if a rush, not wanting to spend too much time in a store due to Covid19. I grabbed a cart and loaded 2 cases of Vodka and a bottle of Aperol and proceeded to the register. The cashier was extremely rude. She was very angry because I did not provide her with a bottle the vodka to scan. She also scolded me for not having an employee place the cases into the shopping cart. Never once saying thank you. I guess this liquor store has so much business that they don't need to thank their customers. I spent $263 in their store that day. I'm not sure that i will be spending any more. There seems to be plenty of other liquor stores in the area. read more

I drove by and was pleasantly surprised by the changes I spotted so I decided to stop in. I made some purchases and will now be able to patronize this business again. Thank you Citi Wine & Spirits. Okay experience. Out of the four bottles I was looking for they were able to find one "In the back" , basic bottle so not sure what that was about. Another was in the back but I was told they were not able to sell it, per the owner. Not sure why, other than it is in limited quantities but asked if the owner was in, but she was not. This is my go to liquor store. They have the best selection of beer and spirits. They sometimes have personal appearances which really separates them from the other liquor stores. They are a great help when I come in to make large purchases for events. When I am not downtown, I go to their Sandy Springs location, it's so beautiful! read more

I've been living here in Atlanta for about 11 months now and visiting numerous liquor stores depending on location this is the best liquor store when it comes to price, variety, and Managment. This store is located between Edgewood and East Atlanta, Neighboring Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown. The appearance outside and inside was very welcoming and cleanly and I personally loved it compared to other places. I was immediately greeted by the manager after browsing and when speaking with her and her co-worker on my way out they were friendly, outgoing and very genuine. These are definitely the cheapest prices I've found in atlanta this far, for example one item I buy frequently is Titos Vodka 1.75L, I would likely pay up to $33-36 before taxes as soon as I walk in they have the same thing for $28.75 literally almost blew my mind. Definitely hitting this place up from now on for sure read more
