It's so hard to find a stylist that you can trust your hair with but I'm so glad I found Shena! I have pretty dark hair naturally and Shena did a beautiful work on my hair. She's super realistic and careful. She assesses your hair situation and makes sure to take that into account whenever lightening the hair. My hair isn't damaged at all thanks to how careful Shena was! I also haven't even had any breakage since getting my hair done! It's not her fault, I never even said her name and that was on purpose. No one was "put on blast" (how old are we?) It was simply an accurate description of my experience. Blaming me for the HUGE CHUNCK missing from my hair is funny. Yes I had cut my own bangs, no they were not fixed by the stylist...clearly, look at the picture. Since the owner knew who I was. She also could have called me, she chose instead to argue like a teenager over Yelp. For new potential clients to see. I'd. Be. Mortified. Lucky for me, when it was time to get back to styling my hair, I met the fabulous Emily Gordon!! We did a simple cut with some layering, but by the end of my appointment, I knew no one else would ever be cutting my hair again! Lauren is amazing! Not only is Lauren the sweetest person you will ever meet, she is also one of the most talented make up artists around! I personally like to wear natural looking makeup and not much of it and Lauren really listened to me and did an amazing job. I was most impressed with how well she matched the picture I showed her with eyeshadow, and made it even better than the photo! Also, my airbrush foundation was even and matched my skin perfectly. Citizen Salon is thee Best! It's easy to find and park, very clean and a calm environment. Lauren is a very talented stylist who I was referred to to after my previous stylist retired. My color looks amazing every visit and I get compliments all the time, base and highlights. A haircut is more than clippers and scissors. A haircut has to do with relationship and professionalism. Clinton superceeds both relationship and professionalism. They also have Davines products for sale which I forgot to grab on my way out, but now I know they're there.
