Went to my general dentist on Tuesday (11/28/23 at 12pm) who confirmed everything I thought and they referred me to this office (per my dentist I needed a emergent tooth extraction done). I called this office same day around 2:30pm or so, and long story short I was booked for a emergent tooth extraction 2 days later on Thursday. Pre-oral surgery: Now I am hella nervous (I'm typically with doctor's appointments but dentist's appointments I'm freaking out. Something about any type of metal tool item in my mouth that does it for me). Anywho, I was instructions of what to do via text message (I.e no eating/drinking 8 hours before the timeframe and to bring along another driver over the age of 18) and all instructions followed to a "T". During: On, Thursday 11/30/23; I arrived for my appointment at 10:30am for 11:00am appointment to be on the safe side. Insurance was verified and paperwork signed. Dr. Michael went over everything in about 10 minutes, and the doctor explained it would be localized rather than general anesthesia. I said okay, and I was in the surgery room for like 30 minutes; localized anesthesia given, expected cracking of the tooth occurred, doctored irrigated the area to cleansed the wound of infection, viola the area was sutured and I was done (all under an 1 hour. Honestly fastest and pain free appointment ever. I was shocked). After: the pain is minimal and just taking the doctor's orders if alternating between Tynelol and Ibuprofen. P.S. the customer service was awesome. I can really tell the staff and the doctor cares. Doctor actually checked up on me, the day after and I was like so surprised (what doctor does that, besides a PCP perhaps??? This doctor has very good bedside manner). They gained a client like forever, but I did tell them that hopefully I won't need their tooth extracting services anytime soon cause I like my natural teeth. I will however be back for a dental implant. Verdict: 5/5 stars. I honestly have no complaints. Coke here, if you need a very good oral surgeon.

However, during my visit, one of the dental assistants taking my X-rays put what appeared to be a used bite block in my mouth. It had visible bite marks all over it. As soon as I noticed, I immediately jumped up and asked, "Why would you put that in my mouth when someone else has already used it?" Instead of taking the situation seriously, she laughed it off and said, "Oh, we can give you a new one." I was completely mortified. The reason you see so many 5-star reviews is on your first visit they are overly nice and then begging you for a 5-star review before you leave the building (don't believe me look for yourself). That is the trap then on following visits is when they start to show their authentic selves screwing you over at every turn. Charm Dental is a perfect name, they charm you, then try to charm all the money out of your bank account. His fake smile is a character, when I was there, he was having a staff meeting and I walked around the corner and he was speaking to them like dogs, which you can see in their faces walking around on eggshells not to set off his rage. We paid 3,600 dollars for 3 hours of anesthesia and were told it was from when my son went under until he woke up. That was a lie they added 2.5 hours to his time by including when the vendor they used showed up and then left. We were not even in the office for 5.5 hours so how could my child be under that long? His work was awful, and we had to keep going back to fix it, so we went to another dentist and paid them $500 dollars to fix Dr. Mehtas' mistakes. We had disputed the amount billed and my wife and I were invited by Dr. Mehta to finalize the bill and come to an agreement (see photo below). Little did we know we were walking into an ambush by a very evil man. I came in good faith to get to the bottom of this, he shuts the door and then begins attacking my wife and I out of nowhere. His fake smile turned into rage as he accused me of being a horrible human, and my wife as an awful mother, which is very bizarre because he does not even know us. He then gets mad that we have great dental insurance which is great for us but not as good for him. He prefers cash pay so he can take advantage of the poor people coming in that have no idea he is about to rob them. Many of the reviews state his dad that was a dentist and treated his patients the same way. One of the most bizarre things in his office is he pulls out his phone and shows us a video of his son with a busted forehead that needed stitches. One it is strange he showed us and filmed it but tells us he made his son do it without pain medication. What type of monster does that to his child and films it, then shows it to people he is yelling at to prove he is some kind of tough guy. This is the same monster that wants to torture his patients and staff. Do yourself a HUGE favor read this and do your own research going over real reviews. I have also made a formal complaint to the Texas Medical Review Board for their investigation. This corruption must be exposed, before he is allowed to keep hurting more people under the guise as a doctor.

So, I went to the dentist, and what an experience at Rosenberg Family Smiles :) From the receptionist, Tracie, to the front desk clerk, Gabby, to the X-ray technician, Karen, the staff members were all very gracious, professional, and kind. The dentist, Doctor Thompson, was thorough and professional, also! My procedure could not be performed due an infection that had to be treated.
