Now listen, when it comes to my hair, I don't just let anybody touch it. So yes, I was a little nervous. But let me tell y'all about Sully the Barber. I met her through Tampa Bay Women's Inferno, and once I actually looked into her work, I realized she is that girl. Years in the game, awards, her own haircare line--I said yeah, let's do this. I went in thinking we were just shaping up the afro, and she said "let me give you the full experience." Baby... she did not disappoint. I told her, "you got free will--just make me feel as good as I try to make everybody else feel." And when I say she delivered?? Look at these curls. Look at this shape. The V in the back?? The definition?? I'm beyond pleased. She really took her time and brought my vision to life without me even having to explain it all the way. This wasn't just a haircut. This was confidence. Citrus Park Mall is probably the most family friendly mall ever! They don't open early expect for 10 minutes before opening. Their bathrooms are so family friendly with a chilling out area for kids and so many cool kids play areas. It's such a nostalgic mall like when I was growing up. I love this mall. Only downside is the food court doesn't have a lot of options but the choices are still good. I love coming here though and will continue to! Get your family down to Citrus Park mall! It's so big and has everything for everyone! read more

Mall update: The mall is dying. Sad to say it but the phones,computers, & Playstation 5 have won. Kids don't care about the mall these days. Your favorite Godiva chocolate shop: now a dog CBD store, ugh. Soon there will be a giant nail salon, a vape/ head shop selling bongs made by Chinese slaves. The elevator is broken, water fountain has smashed buttons, and the movie theatre is bare bones. Like 4 people run the whole thing. Maybe they'll demolish it and make some more 4 story apartments. This is a great mall in a nice area. With even more stores across the street at the Plaza at Citrus Park, it's an ideal place to shop. The Citrus Park Mall line up features popular classics including but not limited to; Abercrombie, American Eagle, Express, Lids, Victoria's Secret, Dicks, Macy's, JC Penny, Bath & Bodyworks, Banana Republic, Claire's, Hot Topic, GameStop, and H&M. Since it's missing a few of my personal essentials I favor the International mall, but this is my favorite mall to get holiday shopping done. During weekdays you can complete your shopping list with ease but the weekend crowds are a bit challenging. The parking lots fill up quickly and the inside tends to feel more crowded than International. This is also a popular hangout for tweens and teens, which adds to hallway traffic. This mall comes complete with an AMC theatre that you can enter at the parking garage or through the foodcourt. I've seen a handful of films at this location and had pleasant experiences. The line can get pretty long at the ticket counter, so plan accordingly. The foodcourt fare is dreadfully typical with the exception of Chick fil a and Johnny Rockets. BJ's and Red Robin are also in the mall but I still prefer eating after I leave. Longhorn is right across the street. Overall this nineties mall is holding up well and seems to be keeping up with the times. An Apple store would be great. read more

This place is so fun. It's super big and it's way less busy than the tampa international mall. It was so cluttered, and in this mall it was actually ** empty!! I will be coming back to this mall instead of the other one because I loved how I can actually walk around and not be knocked over by other people. Service at the cotton candy vendor in the food court is deplorable! What a cute idea at Cloud Fluff Arts they make shapes like bunny heads, Pikachu and Minions out of cotton candy! The two owners took cash from our 11 year old and then my husband paid again on a debit card for the 2nd order. After eating lunch we approached the vendor and realized they took orders after us and served them. Skipping us and making us wait for an hour was completely ridiculous. Then to have to argue incessantly with the owners that they owed us for two orders was awful. I guess had I finished the Babbel course in another language maybe it wouldn't have been that bad. My feeling was they just didn't want to have to give money back but don't promise 20 mins and then skip children! Creating a scene was not my desire but that is just poor business management right there. read more

I have been here shopping, watch movies, food court, restaurant watching Kentucky Derby. You name it. It is comfortable Mall. Many sitting area. Very convenient for the shopper companion that not shop a lot and found a seat to rest and people watching. This mall has high end, technology, clothing, specialty store. It make interesting to shop. Usually I finish my shopping early and I spent remaining time wait for other to finish. I can relax on the food court or the seats on middle of the walkway. This mall is climate control and enclosed the entire mall make the shopper like me relax and wait. They have few restaurants with bar make thing easy to spent time here. You can have a few drinks while waiting. I like Red Robin and the BJ are good choices to past the time. In the food court bubbleology is interesting drink to try. read more

Went to Citrus Park mall to eat at Johnny Rockets and do some shopping. This mall has five anchors, Macy's, JC Penny's, Dillard's, Dick's Sports. and Regal Cinemas. This mall has two other restaurants, BJ's Brewhouse and Red Robin. It also has a large food court with nine restaurants including Chick fil a. There are ten eateries around the mall including Aunt Anne's, Godiva, and Hagen Das just to name a few. This mall is what I like to call as a middle class mall. It has reasonably priced retailers such as Chico's, Finish Line, and Pandora. There are no high end stores like Louie Vuitton, Gucci or Lucky Brand as there are at the International Mall. There are several service businesses for hair care, nails, day spa and watch repair. The mall is a one level straight line of stores which makes it easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking with five entrances plus access thru four of the anchors. The mall seemed clean as I noticed janitors working. read more

It's bright and clean with cute decor. If I was a mall walker, which to be honest, I probably could classify as one, since I tend to walk inside malls when I have a break, this would be the ideal mall. It's essentially one long line, with a carve-out in the center for the food court, and it is bright and airy. In the middle of the day on a weekday, it has enough people that you don't feel like you're in the apocalypse. You get to see parents with little kids, which is always nice. This mall has nice upper-middle-class food options (such as BJ's and Grimaldi's) and your run of the mill food court selection (such as Chick fil a). It also has some slightly more unique options like Pho and boba tea! I can dig that. The one negative to their food court is they don't have samples! Go to the Countryside Mall or International Plaza during lunch and you can get yourself a small meal off of the free offerings. It seems like an all or nothing thing for food courts. We just need one brave soul to step up and start giving out the freebies and then the others will bow to peer pressure. Randomly, this mall has two Auntie Anne pretzel kiosks. One on the west end and one on the east end. If you're curious about why this stood out to me, I think Auntie Anne messed up on pretzel day and sent me three coupons for free pretzels. I'm not one to back down from a challenge so it was a total score when I found out Citrus Park Mall has two Auntie Annes! I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel from one kiosk and walked right over to the other one and got an original. Yes, I had to drink coffee after to pick myself back up from the carb overload, but I have no regrets. For those of you math wizards who realized that was only 2/3 free pretzels, don't you worry, I went to the International Mall the next day and got my third. That is called winning. If you live in this area, lucky you, this is definitely a solid mall. read more

This a really nice mall that have a lot of stores, but it seems like a lot have been shut down due to COVID. I have visited this mall often to go to Amy's hallmark which is great and they have a variety of items. I have also been to express, its not as big as the other mall but still nice. Playground is sooo filthy and definitely in need of repair and upgrading, I used to love being my kids here but now I have a new baby and was very surprised to find this playground in such a bad shape, I mean you can literally scrap the mud/filthiness from the rug and the toys are falling apart:( read more

Came here the other day to shop for Fathers Day and get out! The shipping experience is so different now and we have to change the way our reality was. Reality of shopping now is distancing, some stores still closed or online only, masks and lines! I think I can deal with all but the lines to be honest. I'm the type of shopper that likes to be in and out so standing in line to shop is not my cup of tea. I would rather shop online and spend the extra for shipping to but have to deal with the lines and waiting. So that is exactly what I did for Pink. I think Pink had the longest line to enter. Bath and Body opens their stores on June 19th at this mall. Many stores are having great sales. We stopped into Hallmark and hit the jackpot on 50% off Simply Southern stuff. Got a sling back backpack which I've been wanting for the theme parks for $9! Let's just say I got 2 since was a great deal. The food court and Starbucks are closed. Just your average shopping mall! We went on a weekend and it didn't seem too terribly packed with people, at least it wasn't as busy as my favorite Westfield location in Brandon typically is. That being said, we did drive across town just to check this location out, so maybe my expectations were set too high. The selection of food in the food court isn't that broad... But they did have a Johnny Rockets and a movie theater. As always, the restrooms were clean, and they had a great family room with nursing stalls for families with infants and toddlers. It's basically the same as the Brandon location, just a little bit smaller and less crowded. read more

I was so surprised when I walked in this mall. I loved the design of putting outdoor store fronts inside, so it feels like you're walking in a cute town. In my head I thought, this is so Florida...it's too hot for outdoor malls! Kudos to the designers. I love the outdoor feel! This mall is always clean, and has a parking garage near the movie theatre. They even have a hand wash and car cleaning service in the garage, which I'm hoping to try out one of these days. Even the food court is always being cleaned when I'm there. There are a ton of options for tots here. Every day they have stroller strides before the mall stores open. There's a pop up YMCA store for anyone to come in and play. Don't skip the carousel, it's a pretty decent length of a ride for the price (2 coins for $5), and it's a beautiful carousel. A little pricey, but come on kids will only be kids for how long? Enjoy the ride! The learning express toy store has weekly story times on Thursday's at 11. There's a whole calendar of events, but we are only old enough for story time. Often times they dress up like the characters, which is fun! On my recent visit, the mall decorated one of the wings with greenery in the shapes of animals (wild wonders exhibit). It was gorgeous and my 18 mo loved looking at all of the animals. They also added a little area with animal pillows for kids to watch movies on. How sweet?! Parents can get a break from the hot weather. I love that this mall goes above and beyond for its customers. We will definitely return for more fun and to explore more. read more

I remember my first visit to Citrus Park the weekend it opened in 1999. As you can imagine, I was super young, and the mall felt like it contained an entire galaxy. I loved the facades of the stores that made the mall look like a bonafide town. That was a pretty new concept back then! Flash forward 18 years. Okay, the mall is not as big as prepubescent me thought it was. But it still has some good offerings! My favorite part is that the trifecta of Starbucks, Sephora, and Teavana are within spitting distance of each other. (I do not encourage expectorating in the mall.) Possibly the best part is that CP is GREAT for getting your steps in after a big meal. I can't even count the times I've relied on it to save me from a food coma. Like any mall, parking is tricky if you're set on parking in the lot outside the main entrance. I've never had a problem parking at Macy's and walking to the center of the mall from there. Overall, I'm a fan of the shops in this mall, and it's a nice place to get away from the Florida summer and take a walk! read more

Steel columns/ribs encased in faux queried coquina stone hold up cascading/twisting ceilings. The belly of the beast revealed a metallic spine/trusses running through the many corridors. Negro childen swing in still pictures of gray/black/white. Swimsuit models, blonde/brunette/grayscale, Ms. Jacksonville, Ms. Tampa, Ms. Gainesville pose on a Florida beach overhead. Arrive at the town center, marked by a torrids of restaurants and communal dining tables. House vendors and unique store fonts presented in bold and red: Chick-fil-a, Villa Pizza, Johnny Rockets. The tables were adorned with paper plates and styrofoam cups; the seats with suits, sundresses, jeans, and shorts. The white-tiled floors were acquainted with sandals, heels, boots, and tiny sneakers. Native and foreign tongues lapped up the air and overflowed with conversation and laughter. read more

This mall has some of the dumbest rules in place I've ever heard of for Santa during Covid-19. We were literally told today that my 3 year old daughter could not have her picture taken by them because she didn't have a mask. If she was 2 years old they said that would be okay, well that's some science! To explain: Santa is 6 feet away behind plexiglass with a face shield on and the other staff is 6 feet away with face mask on and the kids must sit on a bench away from everyone for pictures. Why is there a need for a face mask for a picture to be taken? The girl made it sound like she just couldn't take a picture of a 3 year old not wearing a mask for publicity reasoning, that's exactly what I got from it! This was cruel and ignorant! The difference between a 2 year old and a 3 year spreading a virus is non-sense! If this is the case then their food court needs shut down because nobody is wearing a mask inside the mall eating, I mean what's the difference??? This was more like a way to be an ass to a family because they couldn't photograph a kid not wearing a mask no matter how far they were away from everyone! I will add we did have mask on but most 3 year olds aren't going to willfully wear a damn mask nor is there a need with plexiglass and everyone 6 feet away for a Christmas photo! Great place for shopping, family and activities! The best part is so many places for kids to play and they keep them clean! I believe they have 6 places for younger kids to play, they also have a decent bathroom but it's only in the food court area, Wish they had a few others. If you need to go and you can try finding the one in dollars or the other big department store! That's located upstairs usually! *** Forgive me for posting so many reviews... I needed to get rid of some that have been in my drafts folder for months!!! *** We've been visiting this mall since it first opened. Tampa can get freakin' hot in the summer, and air conditioned shopping like this can be cheap relief from the heat. --------------- - - - - - FOOD IS MY MAIN SHOPPING MOTIVATION If my wife promises to feed me, I'll just about go anywhere!!! I can't say I've actually ever bought anything at this mall with the exception of food and movie tickets. The Food Court has a great variety of places to eat and one place in particular that has become one of my favorite places to eat when visiting this city. Pepe's Latin Cafe is a Florida chain, but don't let it's clinking chain status fool you. There are some good eats here and my favorite of all is the curry chicken and curry goat. I've had it in many places and theirs is in my top three ever. Also located here is BJ's restaurant, which I'm told was conceived and opened on the West Coast by the original owners of The Cheesecake Factory. We fell in and out of love quickly with BJ's, but it's been a while and we are due for a visit. The Avocado egg rolls used to be my favorite item. I'll have to come back soon to see if I still feel the same way. Across from BJ's is Red Robin, another place we fell in and out of love with quickly and also a California chain. Their bottomless garlic fries used to be the thing of dreams! However something happened either with my taste buds or with their ingredients, because nothing here tastes as good as it once did. Not even the clam chowder, a menu item I would have once ranked in my top 8 favorites. STEER CLEAR... of the aggressive girls selling the skin exfoliants. They are cute, love to look you in the eye like your "man meat" and they make sure to touch you often during the sales process. Sadly this probably works on a lot of gullible guys. However... that sweet seductive sales girl turns pretty ugly when you choose not to buy. Thank goodness I'm not the type of dude that falls prey to a hot sales chick with a motive. --------------- - - - - - SHOPPING FOR HER Whoo Hooo, we finally bought something after 20+ visits. My wife got a few cute summer tops and I snuck off to surprise her with a bottle of perfume. NOTE TO SELF: Remember that your wife is extremely picky when it comes to perfumes no matter how much YOU like the scent. I bought two perfumes and she returned them both. Oh, the shame. Seriously, who doesn't like Tommy Girl and Dolce & Gabbana. After bringing them back and trying several more fragrances, she made a single purchase... only to return it 2 days later for the Tommy Girl! Yeah baby, I WIN!!!! --------------- - - - - - THE VERDICT Leave the shopping to the women and hang out in the food court @ Pepe's Latin Cafe. Or try Brookstone, which made for a excellent man-sitter while my wife shopped. I admit it... I'm a bit of a South Tampa snob. I like nice things and I don't venture out of my South Tampa bubble as much as I should. The Citrus Park mall is really, really nice! (Turns out International Plaza is not the only nice mall in Tampa!) The mall is clean, beautiful, has tons of great high-end and low-end stores, has a great food court and restaurants, and they have a movie theater. This is what Westshore Plaza should strive to be! This is the ideal mall in Tampa. There is a built in movie theater that is very clean, and though there are kids around on the weekend they cause no fuss like over in Brandon AMC. The movie theater features an arcade and two floors of concession stands and theaters with many time slots to choose from for your convenience. You will also find a Johnny Rockets in this mall, which is a rare delight in Tampa. They have it completely set up as if it was standing alone, just within the mall. Look across from the Johnny Rockets and you will find the gigantic food court in Citrus Park Mall. They have Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and American all featuring some quality food that beats many other choices available at other malls. The workers are very friendly and happy to give you a sample of the food available without a sign of laziness or hesitation. Right next to the huge food court is a play ground for children, a merry-go-round and a hallway leading to restrooms that includes a family restroom that is very nice if I do say so myself. There is also a Starbucks nearby within the mall, which adds double points to it's great reputation. If you walk down the hall from the merry-go-round there is a restaurant called Rice & Co. that I would highly recommend. (Look a review on that soon) The mall is basically split up into "streets" that have stores on two sides that you can walk up and down, and it can get tiring to cover the entire thing back and forth, so I think it always better to park in the middle of the mall either by the food court or in the parking lot on the opposite end so you can get out easier. The mall has all sorts of specialties for the disables and the pregnant, and the little stands in the middle are not so annoying like at some other malls like the University. Workers are courteous and the police are around to always ensure your safety. read more

Some who've met me may be shocked to know that I hate shopping. I'm not a window shopper. I'm always on a mission when I go to the mall. This mall is really close to me, so I frequent it. It's not the best mall, but it's not the worst either. You'll find most of your commercial mall stores here with Macy's, Dillard's, Sears and JC Penny as anchors...not sure if Dick's Sports qualifies as an anchor, but it has its own entrance from the outside too. The food court is okay, but small in my opinion...however, there aren't any food courts in Tampa malls that are even close to outstanding. There's a carousel at this mall, so the first time you go, you think that's cool. I got on it once when my kids were younger only to regret it as it took my over an hour to get over my dizziness. The restaurants available are mediocre chains: BJ's, Grimaldi's, Red Robin and Johnny Rockets. This mall doesn't meet all my needs. I'd like to see a Bebe, Ann Taylor, Old Navy, World Market and a Sbarros here. My frequent spots in this mall are Macy's, Dillard's, Chick-fil-A, the bourbon chicken place, Le Macaron, Teavana, Sephora, NY&Co, Cache, Auntie Ann's (there are 2 locations) and Regal Cinemas. They just added a Pholicious here. Once they work out the kinks of being new I hope it'll be as good as the one at Countryside Mall in Clearwater. Then I'd frequent it as well. Stay away from the nail joints and eyebrow threading places here....they don't care about service, only volume business. I must note that you must also stay away from any optical shops as the selection of frames are small and service is lacking. I think the town design off the mall is cute. I don't have issues finding parking here either...but I don't care for parking at the main entrance. read more

Let me start by saying I avoid malls at every cost. After driving by this mall many times I decided to give it a try and was surprisingly impressed. The mall is conveniently located near a highway and there is lots of parking available. The mall is aesthetically pleasing and has lots of stores for everyone (kids adults, families). The layout of the mall is excellent as most of the stores I wanted to visit were in the same isle or nearby. After strolling through Macys I found all my favorites - Sephora, Express, Loft, Banana Republic and H &M. I had a wonderful time hopping from store to store spending my hard earned dollars. This is my first visit here... not usually much for malls! But this one is clean, has an excellent selection of stores, and was actually fairly crowded. We found several shops that were really interesting, had some excellent espresso at one of the kiosks, and spent several hours just wandering and looking. I have to admit I haven't been to the Citrus Park Westfield in a long time. Not because of any other reason than we moved over a year ago and I just never get out that way, but today I did and I found exactly what I needed! My first stop was Macy's for the dreaded swimsuit...and WOW! They had a fantastic selection that helped me bring into the dressing room a whopping EIGHT suits to try on! EIGHT! That's a gigantic number for me and not only that - I loved 4 of them and picked out my favorite and was on my way!! Since that was so successful, I decided to look for a dress for my anniversary...not so lucky here. There seemed to be a disconnect between DRESSY sequins and work dresses...but, nothing just fun and summery that wasn't that long style (I am WAAAAY too short and don't have time for taking it to get altered) or that handkerchief hem style that is way too young for me...at least I think so - mainly because we wore that in the 70's...so if I can say THAT...I'm too old to re-wear the trend now! ;-) On to wandering...I went around the mall, only to the center so I missed the other half, but I was really just window-shopping at this point because I'd lost steam. But, I was still enjoying the mall. Alot of things have changed - they have a tattoo parlor, and some teen clothing stores I've never heard of before...but, mostly I was surprised by how quiet it was. Such a pretty mall and not alot of people were there. I'm sure that will change once summer comes, but I felt a little sad that it wasn't busy because it has alot to offer. I must make the effort to go up there to shop during the day, and encourage people to so it doesn't go the way of University Mall...that would be a shame. read more

Simply organized with a good selection of stores. This is a really nice mall and I enjoy going here. They have a Starbucks but the line is laughable. There were over 20 people in line the last time I was there! I went into a store, returned something, browsed a bit, and left- and the same person who was at the end of the line when I originally passed was still there! You are much better off trying the local independent coffee shop about a mile down the road. Parking is ample but can be a bit of a hassle on a busy day. I ended up parking wayyy far away from the entrance I wanted. But that was okay... it's a mall and that happens. I've been told by my friends who are moms that Citrus Park has the biggest selection of kids and baby clothes. So... there you go. Also, they have a movie theater! I wouldn't recommend it... Veterans is much better... but it is there if you feel like a movie. Not bad and the focal point for this area, which is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Tampa. read more

With the cliches of malls dying through the current and new generation I can say this mall still has some heavy crowds. I mostly come here for the movies but you can find a few good finds weather it's food or clothing shopping. Mall is always well maintained and is spotless most of the time. This mall is right up the road from me, so when I feel the need for some shopping therapy, this is the place I frequent. Size does count! Just like Goldilocks, some malls can be too big, some can be too small. Citrus Park is just right. They have covered parking in the rear so on those hot muggy summer days, you don't have to burn your digits and other various body parts. Macy's, Dillard's, Jc Penny's and a very old tired Sears are some of the anchors. I like perusing Brookstones and Teavanna as well as some of the toy stores. They have the requisite food mall and movie theater though I don't usually go for mall food. Starbucks for go juice, gelato and macarons for quick bites. It's clean and not usually crowded, a good place to keep cool in the summer. read more

I like a mall with a lot of choices. What I don't like is a mall that offers teeth whiting near a starbucks.. Kinda creepy! I wish this mall offered more in the way for women who are plus sized, there's not a single store that caters exclusively to them. No Lane Bryant, no Avenue (though an Avenue is across the street). They do have plenty of lingerie stores: Victoria Secret, Fredericks & Soma, all nestled together. There are accessory stores galore and even a plethora of "hipster" clothing stores. There really is something for everyone and it's pretty centrally located to the upper Tampa area. read more

This is a typical mall. I try to shop at home in my bed as much as possible but this is a great alternative when I want to be out and about. I can usually find what I need here including some decent lunch options. I tend to stick with the same stores as I know beforehand what it is I'm looking for and where to find it. This time of the year the place is completely packed and there's not much space to maneuver. Again, if you have a game plan you can be in and out fairly quickly. The grounds are usually kept nice and each of the stores tries to be consistent with upkeep so I appreciate that. I will continue to return here in the future for my needs. read more

This is the first mall I ever came to when I moved down to Florida. They have a good selection of stores there and their food court is decent. This mall is always changing so it doesn't get boring to keep coming to. read more

Too bad there is a olandemic going on. This mall is one of the nicest and you can see they're suffering. The mall was dead for a Saturday. They have a lot of interesting stores. Dick's is my fav. Dillard's is another great old school type dept store. Red Robin is fantastic. Food court is decent. Good selection and the theatre is one of the best. They have recliners. Will be reviewing them next. Clean washrooms. Overall clean, lots of easy parking. Hope the anchors manage to stay in business. Several smaller shops weren't even open yet. They need to get back to business or many will fail. It's sad. This is a great local mall. read more

Great place. Parking is always a breeze. The interior and exterior are always well kept. In my experience, this mall is never super crowded. At least not as crowded as International Plaza gets. There are plenty of seating areas for you to take a coffee break or gather with friends. Unlike other malls that maintain small crowds, this mall retains a variety of great stores, like Ann Taylor Loft and Eddie Bauer. I gave four stars because it does not have every store that you might be looking for but some of the stores that they have are ones that you will not find in other malls in the area. For example, Eddie Bauer and Earthbound Trading. It's easy to get in and get out quickly from this mall. It's not very big and the layout is very simple. I really do enjoy this mall. It's not too big but still offers most stores that I need. If I'm being honest, I'm not a big shopper. I typically do my shopping online but when I do get out and about I don't like to fight the crowds. Westfield at Citrus Park had plenty of parking and is nice and clean. read more

The main thing I liked about this mall was how bright it was inside. It has tons of windows and the interior shared spaces of the mall are clean and crisp colors. I didn't explore it too much as we were here for specifically one of the nail salons, but it looked to have a good selection of stores that would appeal to a large array of people. read more
