EVgo makes this an easy stop because I can charge the car while wandering around the outdoor shopping center, use a clean air conditioned bathroom, grab refreshments or a quick bite and browse the stores. I especially like stopping at 3Natives for a healthier option, with wraps and bowls that make much more sense to me than the usual mall food. I always check Macy's Last Act too, because I refuse to pay full retail when patience usually pays off. One thing I found particularly interesting was how culturally diverse the crowd felt. I noticed a strong South Asian and Middle Eastern presence, along with a mix of families and shoppers that gave the center more character than I expected from a suburban shopping destination. I enjoy that kind of people watching because you get a little glimpse into how different communities are living, shopping and spending their time. I'm still mostly browsing rather than buying, but between the EV charging, good food options and people watching, Wiregrass has turned out to be a surprisingly useful stop for me.

Had a chance to visit post holidays and take advantage of some great sales…read more This is a very large outlet and is very well maintained. As you walk around you will find all of the major retailers and some good food places. I got a chance to stop and rest at one of the many seating areas when my wife went in to shop at her favorites. I also got a chance to take advantage of the Military Veteran discounts at some of the stores. Many are offered.

Last night was a nice night for Xmas lighting in Hyde Park Village…read more I liked that it was not jammed packed and it was easy to walk through. People are walking around with their dogs and pretty happy here. This event took place from 5-8pm with the tree lighting at the end. We wish we saw the nutcracker ballet, but when we got there they were finishing up. We were able to get parking in one of the garages which they just opened up again when we got there. That made it way way easy since there was a good amount of parking inside. We were worried about the parking and it was fine. There was some vendors here and there but not too many. I wish we took pics by the vw van, but we didn't. They did have free ice cream from Oddfellows that we got. They sold mixed drinks and cotton candy and flowers and some food here and there like Birria Bros and The Mighty Fine. We didn't get any food and drinks while we were there. It was a nice relaxing night that made it even better with the Christmas lights and fresh air.

The "We Don't Do Sales" Mall…read more Yesterday was Mother Daughter Day and after not seeing my mother for over 30 days I wanted to give her a proper Tampa day. The bay, the walkways, some shopping, and a stop at Columbia Restaurant which honestly was not good. Then we went to International Plaza and Bay Street thinking we would do what we always do. Browse, hunt, and find something great on sale. That is how WE shop. We walked into Altar'd State and asked where the sale section was. We were told they do not do sales there. Not even a small rack in the back. .. thought maybe it's just that store Then we went into Dillard's and asked the same question. The woman looked us up and down like we had three heads and gave us the same answer. Finally I made the realization . . This mall is built for people who pay full price and do not question it. To be fair, it is beautiful. Clean, polished, very well put together. A strong mix of stores and a surprising number of high end brands. Completely different than what I expected and it threw me off my game. But there is no thrill here. No hunt. No digging. No moment where you find that one piece that makes the whole trip worth it. Have fun shopping at full price here. I am not one of those people. I do not pay full retail ever and I am not starting now. And I know plenty of wealthy people who can afford to pay full price and they will not do it either. They know better.

It's been a while since I've been here and they definitely have a wide variety of stores. We did stop by and see the Easter bunny. The staff was super nice. They were doing a little dances and keeping the kids entertained. Also, we did find the coffee shop called E bar near Nordstrom. Which was pretty good actually. For lunch, we did stop at the food court, but I wouldn't eat there again. The food was terrible at wok o holic. There is better food outside the food court.

Keep in mind that this is an outlet store so they don't have as much inventory as the mall stores, however they do have women on one side and men on the other and you can find some great deals in here. I love the portofino shirts and can typically get them for under $20 here compared to over $40 in the mall. The staff is always super friendly and the fitting rooms are always kept clean. Store is laid out well and even the checkout process is fast despite when there are times where the line may be longer.

Now listen, when it comes to my hair, I don't just let anybody touch it. So yes, I was a little nervous. But let me tell y'all about Sully the Barber. I met her through Tampa Bay Women's Inferno, and once I actually looked into her work, I realized she is that girl. Years in the game, awards, her own haircare line--I said yeah, let's do this. I went in thinking we were just shaping up the afro, and she said "let me give you the full experience." Baby... she did not disappoint. I told her, "you got free will--just make me feel as good as I try to make everybody else feel." And when I say she delivered?? Look at these curls. Look at this shape. The V in the back?? The definition?? I'm beyond pleased. She really took her time and brought my vision to life without me even having to explain it all the way. This wasn't just a haircut. This was confidence. This was self-love. This was me stepping back into myself and feeling good doing it. Tell me I don't look good This is just how life goes.

Their bathrooms are so family friendly with a chilling out area for kids and so many cool kids play areas. It's such a nostalgic mall like when I was growing up. I love this mall. Only downside is the food court doesn't have a lot of options but the choices are still good. I love coming here though and will continue to! Get your family down to Citrus Park mall! It's so big and has everything for everyone!

I think it's a little bit smaller but similar layout and stores. What I didn't like the most is how dark it was. I don't think that's so safe. It was early enough to where there was at least two more hours of shopping before stores closed yet really dark. It's been about 10 years since I've been here, and it seems to look about the same as that time. They did have a Christmas tree in the center. That at least brightened the place up a bit. The stores off hand that I recall where Bath and Body, Kirkland's, a boutique with country ware, a Thai restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant, BD's Mongolian BBQ which I was surprised to see, & a Grillsmith. They also had a movie theater and a book store. Those were some of the stores off hand. There were also a handful of empty spaces. The parking was free along the inside of the mall street parking where we parked. The Best Part Was Seeing the Bloom Mural!

We did notice on our last trip that there were a decent amount of store fronts now closed, hopefully other will come in soon and this isn't going to be another half full shopping center. We would really miss going here. They have a movie theatre, plenty of food choices from semi affordable to less affordable and a decent amount of stores to peruse through. Most of the stores are your basic chains, but at least you can have a nice walk outside with nice scenery while you walk. They had a huge Christmas tree, great for a photo op. The only thing this place is lacking is for a more trendy or niche/boutique stores that would sell non dept. Store/Mall items. You know something different!!! If you want to have a nice walk about while you shop/eat then check this place out, it's good for a day out with Fam for sure!!!

NORDSTROM RACK From…read morethe scattered reviews I read, I decided to stop at Nordstrom Rack. I was only three miles from their Brandon store and in need of a few men's shirts and dress pants. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.
