pretty big mall with good restaurants and stores for everyone. the decor and wall colors/paint reminded me of europe. windows and greenery at the top. it was a nice touch. the light blue ceilings were nice too. there is a small food court in the center of the building. it had a piano where guests could play. also tables and benches. the mall was rather empty when i went. but the restaurants themselves were pretty busy. lots of italian restaurants and some dessert places inside too. read more

Solid sized mall with a variety of shops. We have been here a couple of times when visiting Tampa and gotten some steps in while looking through a few shops. It's a very clean mall with lots of space in the walking areas. They are doing a good job with COVID guidelines with mask signs throughout and several hand-sani stations. They have a variety of shops from local offerings to chain stores you'll see at just about any mall. The setup is a bit weird as the aisles shoot off in a bunch of directions, but it's good for getting in steps and getting out. Overall: A Solid mall location with a good mix of shops. read more

Nice shopping plaza, with a variety of speciality stores and good large anchor stores. Several good restaurants to choose from and they also offer a food court. Drove there to exchange dollars for Euros. It was fun to walk around and window shop. The plaza was clean and seemed like safe place to shop. Will definitely return. read more

Westshore Plaza is very popular mall. I have been coming here since I was kid. Westshore Plaza has evolved so much over the years & continues. Westshore Plaza has several events throughout the year. Tonight it was the Galentine's Sip n Shop. Everything was totally free & totally fun. There was wine glass painting, samples of food & desserts, candy, mimosas, wine from Keel & Curley, photo booth, chair massage, eyebrow shaping, mini makeover, perfume samples, gift card giveaways & a wonderful cookbook from Brandi Chang. By the way, Brandi Chang flew into Tampa & signing her cookbook. So, keep an eye on the events at Westshore Plaza. read more

Pretty cool mall! I would compare it to the FL mall with less shops and a smaller crowed. The first floor of the mall reminded me of the mall in West Palm Beach. I'm a huge fan of non crowded malls. They have a small but pleasant food court with restaurants all over the outside of the mall. An Italian restaurant, P F Chang's, an Irish Pub and Seasons 52. They have a nice variety of interesting shops I've never seen before. There was an arcade and vintage arcade game store. An off brand coffee shop, a shoe cobbler and a barber to name a few. This mall is interesting with a variety of non "well known" shops, it was a lot of fun to explore. It was a day trip from the mundane. The only negative is the parking. I have never navigated a more confusing parking lot! read more

I spent two lovely days and nights here. First, I went directly from my room to the outdoor swimming pool on the 9th floor. The pool is a gathering spot, but I was still able to float on my back in the sun and permit my Relaxation Retreat to begin. There did not seem to be a cocktail bar near the pool, but everybody else had cocktails! I was happy there were fluffy towels available and no-one restricting how many I could take. After, I took a shower in my room. I feel like I need to say it was the best shower I have had in two years: all the hot water I wanted for as long as I wanted. My home life doesn't work that way. I've stayed in many many hotels and it's all about the bed. Fluffy, multiple pillows, so comfortable. Oh! I forgot to mention how great the room air-conditioner was. 65*F and quiet. A/C is my thing. The room had everything you would expect at a 4-star hotel: charging stations, blackout curtains, fluffy beds, miniature drip coffee maker, styrofoam cups and complete coffee station, room safe, iron and ironing board, laundry service, triple-milled soap. Only the mini-fridge was odd. I could hardly fit my bananas in there. Also, because of COVID-19, there was no stationary, postcards, menus, pens or even Gideon's Bible. But everything seemed clean and the toiletries included disinfectant wipes. Of course, I had brought my own and wiped the doorknobs and all the hard surfaces. Personally, I did not spend any time in the room except for 1 fabulous night's sleep. Because I booked via Priceline, I had free parking. Otherwise, it would have cost $14/day. I also had free WI-FI. Even though I had to borrow a luggage cart and take my own bags to my room, I would most definitely stay in this hotel again, and it is very near Ybor party district. read more

Westshore Mall is a great family place. I go there a few times a month with my husband so he can get his hair cut at International Cutz. Great place and a great group of guys. I'm looking forward to the expansion that will take place now that Sears is gone. I'm sure it will be nice. Yesterday I walked around. Bought some shoes at Payless who will be closing in 8 days. Bought a few things from my new favorite store Rue 21. And picked up lunch at Bourbon St Grill. Great place to eat at the mall. I love their Orange Chicken. I highly recommend it Back again. There are several Malls in and around Tampa. But I'm always drawn to The Westshore Plaza. Shopping and food. Such a great combination. read more

This is a smaller but nice little shopping mall near downtown Tampa and near the airport, there's a nice variety of shops, and plenty of Tampa sports merchandise if you're looking for that, plus an AMC Theatre upstairs. Could use some more discount/outlet stores but it's nice overall! read more

Not a mall I'd go out of my way to visit, but I don't avoid it either. It seems like over the years they've been losing more and more stores. There are more empty storefronts than I remember in the past. However, there are also some exciting new updates that are coming, like a Blind Tiger, so maybe in the near future I'll bump this back to four stars. They have one play place and it looks a bit cramped. I actually didn't think they had one at all, because it is a bit off to the side, but my husband remembered it. The sign by the play area said kids had to wear socks. I didn't have socks for my son so we decided not to go in, but I did notice a ton of kids running around in bare feet. I guess I'm just a rule follower. I do like their addition of a candy store. It looks really cute and is stocked full of awesome options. I'm also a fan of the restaurants here. They're mainly chains like PF Changs, Besito's, Maggiano's, but they are the better chains. Parking by the restaurant area is a total mess, which is why most of those restaurants offer $5 valet. It's insane to me to valet at a mall, so just take extra time and walk from another parking area through the mall. There's tons of parking. Overall, this will never be my first choice to go to. With International so close, there really is no need. However, I also don't avoid this mall and there is an AMC, so I'll continue to stop by every now and then. read more

We needed to kill a few hours and ended up wandering around this mall on a Sunday. Disappointing that it didn't open until noon but I guess that's how they roll in Tampa. The stores were more reasonably priced compared to the other mall up the street. It seemed to really get crowded as the afternoon wore on. They had a giant chess board setup in front of one of the stores and we played a game which was fun to do. They also had bean bag toss, a ping pong table, and a small basketball hoop. Parents were stopping to let their kids play a game while sitting in the Adirondack chairs that were also in that area. The mall was clean and had a decent selection of restaurants in/around it which was nice. read more

Malls in general are dying as more and more people do their shopping on the internet. This mall is no different. It has fairly unremarkable stores. I think the movie theatre and restaurants are what keep the foot traffic up. Certainly, those are the main reasons I ever come here. read more

The Westshore mall deserves 3.5 stars. With the glamorous International plaza just blocks away and Citrus Park packing the most popular stores, the competition is stiff. Unlike the International plaza, Westshore offers a movie theatre. It's a slightly rundown AMC, easily accessible through the mall and third floor of parking garage. Neighboring AMC theaters have been upgraded with reclining leather chairs that you can reserve online. This mall has a confusing layout for the inexperienced. It's not the traditional circular hallway. Just when you think you're on the main route you end up on a random side street. Every intersection looks the same. Signage would be helpful. The food court is in the middle of nowhere and offers greasy spoons with the exception of Chick Fil A. What redeems this lackluster eatery are the restaurants outside of the mall. Upon arrival you may opt for valet parking and dine at good places like Maggiano's. The mall stores are pretty common with the exception of Old Navy -the only reason I've picked this mall over Citrus Park and International. read more

Like coming to this mall whenever i come to town. Small and quiet malls are my go to. Has everything you need-a decent food court with a chik fil A, a nice movie theatre upstairs , good customer service , a shoe repair place, and a Macy's with a backstage. Haven't been here in a while, but went today and passed through to go to the AMC Movie Theater which is on the second floor, or select 3rd floor if you are reading this inside the parking garage, which I doubt you are, so whatever! Good thing is there is a parking garage. Hello we are in FL, it's hot most of the time, so park your car there if you prefer to not get in a scorching 100 degree car when you have been shopping up a storm, and living up the AC haven(oh and I'm an outside girl, the mall for me is my run away from the rain haven) Some stores I love here are Bath & Body, Francescas, Papaya, Old Navy, Payless Shoes, Traffic Shoes, and Yankee Candle. Some restaurants for when you become a hungry hippo include P.F. Changs, Mitchell ' s Fish Market, Besito, and the food court. There's also a Starbucks and a yogurt place. I personally like to go across the mall to Chipotle or Seasons 52 when I'm in the area. If you are dying for more shopping, go down the street to International Mall too. Well hello there, mall across the street from my hotel. *wink* I visited the WestShore Plaza Mall for lunch and dinner, iced coffee beverages from Starbucks and shopping. I liked the selection of stores even though I was trying not to go on a shopping spree. I found some great deals. The restaurants are pretty upscale and I enjoyed trying out Seasons 52, Mitchell's Fish Market and PF Chang's here. They offer a nice selection of sit down spots. read more

I actually didn't know about this mall until I needed to return something at a store that happened to be located inside of it. I really think it's underrated, because from what I noticed, I saw a very good variety of stores, not too many people on a week day, and a surprisingly good food court. It's average, but it's better than I expected. I don't think I was able to see the entire mall, but we walked around a little bit and visited some stores. They have a LOT of Parking available, and that shocked me tremendously! I always have a hard time parking at the Westfield. It's a very nice mall! read more

Westshore plaza is such a good mall. I like it better . They have pf Chang's, Mitchell fish market, maggiano's etc. Those are some of my favorite places to eat. Westshore Plaza is a nice, clean Mall but is smaller then some of the other's in the county. The layout is a circle which makes it an easy mall to walk. You don't have to turn around and walk back! Because it is far from where I live, I honestly only come here for the great (AWESOME) dinning options that you won't find elsewhere in Tampa. When I do come, I always enjoy being here. Upon arriving to Tampa I realized I didn't have my sunglasses I wanted to go get glasses and the nearest store to me was Macy's so I end up going to the Westshore plaza and once I get my glasses and then I went around the mall and exploring a little bit, it was a really good size mall, they had Santa there waiting to take pictures with the kids. they have a variety of food in the food court area. It was really cute. I I live recommend this place to everyone. read more

I love Westshore Mall mostly because it's right down the street from me so I have a plethora of food offerings: Mitchell's Seafood Besito Maggiano's and An entire food court just for me! Well, I do have to share it with, oh today I'd say hundreds of people, but still, it's awesome! Then there's the shopping. Okay, I lost Saks. It was a lot of fun to go in there and try on ball gowns with my girls, but I get it...Dicks Sporting Goods probably has a bigger following, sadly. I say sadly only because I'd rather shop for pretty than sweaty any day of the week...but I don't like to sweat and that's for another day! Moving on...there are some big anchor stores - like Macy's, JC Penneys and Sears. Then, the regulars like Victoria Secret, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. With fun shops thrown in like H&M, Francesca's and a great little jewelry store with alot of vintage goods down the hallway toward Dick's that you shouldn't miss! Parking is never a problem, even on rainy days there are multiple 'under the eaves' spots so not a hair on your head feels a drop! Don't forget a gelato or Starbucks on your way out (or in!) it's my neighborhood and I'll wave a Yelpie as you pass! read more

We have two malls in the close proximity near west shore. I like the West Shore Plaza better due to the bargain. Try to come at weekday instead of weekend to check out the bargain. What we call it slow day for business and they are trying to get rid of the inventory. I like the mall lay out in square shape. When you start at the same corner and end up in the same location in one loop. I hate mall go to one end and have to walk back to the starting point to get your car. West Shore Plaza more has many stores to offer. I like the restaurant there with P.F Chang, Season 52, Maggiano's Little Italy, Mitchell Fish Market, and the recent open Besito. The mall has three parking garages that allow for parking in the shade. It is easy access to the mall from and to I-275. It has four anchor stores - Macy, Dick Sport, Sears and JC Penny. This is not my favorite mall in the Tampa Bay area (that honor goes to International Plaza), nor it is my second favorite mall (that honor goes to the Citrus Park Mall), but this is a decent mid-range indoor mall, however there is very little about the mall that I'd qualify as memorable. I like the mixture of nice restaurants such as PF Changs, Maggiano's, The Palm, Mitchell's Fish House, and Seasons 52, but they are all technically outside the mall. The restaurants inside the mall are the standard food court grub that generally gives me indigestion and so I avoid them at all costs. WestShore Plaza also has an AMC movie theater, but it honestly pales in comparison to the larger AMC theater on Anderson Road. The anchor stores are JC Penney, Sears, Macy's and Saks 5th Avenue. JC Penney and Sears are not department stores that I seek out on a shopping expedition to the mall, and I find Sak's to be wayyyyyy to pretentious for the average customer to this mall. If I want to pay Sak's prices, then I would rather drive over to International Plaza and visit Nordstrom where the customer service is much better. That leaves Macy's which is one of my favorite department stores, but sadly the store within this mall could seriously use an overhaul. I think it has a musty smell, and I would not call this store especially clean as compared to other Macy's stores in other malls. The remaining stores in this mall all strike me as mehhh. Westshore mall has changed so much over the years. It used to have higher end stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and other nicer chain boutiques. Most of these stores have been replaced with lower end shops that appear to be independently owned with cheaper merchandise. When I was a kid, we used to take bus 19 up from Port Tampa to Westshore Plaza. First stop used to be Vacaro's for a slice of pizza and a soda, then off to the arcade next door. If I had the extra allowance money, I'd stop at Record Bar to take advantage of the "3 singles for $12.99" deal. Ah, such fond memories from 1984 to 1989, I tell ya. I don't live in South Tampa anymore, so trips to this mall are rare. I'm close to Citrus Park and Countryside, so I usually end up in one of those two places when I'm in the mood to pay inflated prices. That's more depressing than seeing Sbarro in Westshore's food court lol Westshore is still my mall of choice in Hillsborough County. It's clean, and it's kinda small, so one can really get in and get out without wasting the day away. Sure, Spencer's, Oshman's, Record Bar, Woolworth's and Wolf Brothers are long gone and they're building a huge Dick's (couldn't resist) on the south side now, but it still feels like home to me! read more

Over the years, the popular chains have all left and, with them, so have the customers. The mall is now desolate and depressing. If I want to go shopping, I go to International Plaza. Great restaurants like Maggianos, PF Changs, Grimaldi's Pizzeria and all new Besito Mexican and all of this located by the main entrance of the mall. Great food options inside the food court too like Chik-fil-a, Evos, Chinese, Greek and couple others. There's also an AMC theater located on the 2nd floor of the main entrance. Only come to this mall as a last resort if Citrus Park doesn't have what I'm looking for. Or we come here to eat at PF Chang's. Came here for Justice -- this store had some items on clearance that the Citrus Park location didn't have. Let me just say that there's a clear difference in the personnel and cleanliness of the stores depending on where you go! The store is so cramped and things are not organized. The store lacks a clean welcoming feel like other Justice stores we've shopped at. We were in the market for Unicorn stuff for a birthday gift and I came across a unicorn journal and pen set that was on clearance. The set didn't have the pen inside the package so I stopped a clerk to ask if I could either swap it out with another set (other sets were not unicorn) or if they had more in the back. She acknowledged me but then proceeded to the back storage area of the store so I waited thinking she was checking on more journal sets for me....to my amazement NOPE!, she just totally ignored me I suppose because she returned from the back with some other stock items, walked right past me and just kept on restocking other items. I was so irritated that I just went to the register and asked the clerk there who was nice enough to swap out the pen with another set. Let's just say I won't be recommending this location and won't be back. read more
