He proceeded to tell me that there was no way he could give them to me at that quote $655.00, they cost $800 just to purchase on his end. He continues to say that it was not the original quote! (It most certainly was). I didn't have that much money. He said "well I don't know what to tell ya"! He would NOT honor my quote. So I had to leave! Unbelievablely unprofessional! After calling around to different mechanics in the area, we had a good feeling about these guys and decided to pay extra to have my van towed out to Cañon City. Not only did they come in early to get to my van first thing in the morning when they knew that I needed to get back on the road, but they took so much extra care in making sure that I wouldn't have any more problems. Even walking me through and explaining what they were doing. When I saw my bill, I said "is that all?" because I'm used to getting overcharged by big city mechanics as a young woman. Definitely, definitely trust these guys with your vehicle whether it's new or vintage like mine! Plus, I was able to get back on the road by 5 o'clock that night and made it to Texas by dark!

We needed to make a trip to Canon City anyway so we brought the Jeep into their new storefront but they were even willing to bring their mobile repair unit all the way to the sleepy little town of Westcliffe CO to repair the windshield in the Jeep. That alone is something to take note of. We'd called several places with mobile repair units and no one else was willing to do that. The glass repair itself was done in no time (about 2 hours) and looks fantastic. It was so clear, it was hard to convince my brain there was even glass in front of me.

Made it home and ODBC reader indicated problem with fuel injector 4. Went online to make first available appointment which was 11 am on the Tuesday after the Memorial Day weekend. Made appointment without any problems and received email confirmation of appointment. Tuesday morning at 9:35 am received call letting me know that the Faricy Ford online appointment system was apparently not working correctly and that my appointment was cancelled with next available appointment on Saturday. I let Faricy Brother Ford know that I was leaving on Wednesday on an out of state trip and needed my vehicle fixed before the trip. I was not offered any possible solutions to their website problem and no concern was given to my requirements. Needless to say this will be the last time I use Faricy Brothers Ford and will drive to either Pueblo or Colorado Springs when I do need the services of a Ford dealership. Since this is the second time I have experienced less than satisfactory customer experience with the specific dealership when it comes time to buy my next Ford it will not be at this uncaring dealership.

A HUGE thumbs up for Austin Auto…read more My wife and I were in Canon City for a weeklong event. On Wednesday of that week We noticed a minor noise coming from the engine. The next morning, The first shop we went to decided it was the water pump as the pulley for it had a slight wobble. The shop manager stated they hadn't replaced a water pump on our model van and his reference books stated that the engine needed to be pulled to replace the pump. They were too busy to take that big of a job on short notice and said that they could do in in a week. We didn't want to wait as we needed to leave Canon City to get back to Seattle. The shop manager provided us with the names and number of a couple of other shops in town and the dealer info in a town 30 miles away. We made the trip to Austin Auto and they confirmed the water pump needed to be replaced but they were booked a couple weeks out. Kevin the shop manager did state that he felt the water pump could be replaced without pulling the engine. We went out to our van to figure out another option. We were in the process of calling the dealer to check with them when Kevin walked out to talk to us. He said he talked to his shop foreman about the water pump replacement and the fact that we were in a bind and were supposed to leave the next day. The shop foreman had experience replacing water pumps on this type of engine and apparently took pity on our situation and said he'd be willing to do the work himself so we could be on our way on schedule. Kevin said they'd be able to have the work done late today or the next depending on how it went! Late the same afternoon Kevin called and said the work was done and we could come and pick up the van. We were ecstatic and so happy that Austin Auto was so helpful and efficient The 3 people we interacted with at Austin Automotive were super nice, patient and helpful in every way. I'm ranking this as the best experience I've ever had with any auto shop. Period.

At 9:50 they took it into the shop at 9:52 a.m. and they told me what was wrong and then, my $145.00 charge went to $173.00 plus repairs. I paid and let them repair it. When I complained about the $173.00 charge for 2 minutes work. I was read the riot act about their expertise in pushing a horn. They do good work but the next time I will shop around and you should too! They will skin you alive! I paid $173.00 for them to push my horn. How dumb am I? I find their business practices deceptive and unethical.

He caused $900 in mechanical damage and he effectively ruined my entire paint job throughout the car. It has to be completely sanded down and repainted . He didn't even bother taping off the car and there is overspray on my rims my tires my glass my windshield wipers you name it there's over spray. There are runs in the paint some of them 5 in long. There are fingerprints throughout the clear coat and the paint job is very uneven and left Stripes all over my hood. He didn't even bother to put my bumper Clips back on . He swapped out my expensive side mirrors that have sensors and turn signals for ones that do not . He has a horrible temper he has no accountability and zero communication skills. Because I chose a shop that wasn't a preferred shop from my insurance I'm on my own and now have to take out a lawsuit. The good news is the law actually allows me to sue him for three times the amount of his $15,000 damage on my car. See you in court​
